manning yelling "Ohmaha" like it's his signature move in anime
anime 🙄
lol like without saying it, he can’t do his super power throw 😂
As an Omaha native, I approve.
I assume it's like marital arts or karate. Usually during an explosive move, yelling or your "kiai" makes you "exert" more or become more explosive.
Which, I'm sure even though it's Peyton, even he'd need it. Absolutely insane throw, and he threw a ton of them. Absolute bombs.
omaha smash!
CC had that twinkle in his eye..pure gold..
2 grown men bringing out their inner child..
Good shit guys!
Men always have the inner child on tap! I love it!😂
Yes he looked younger right in that moment. He lit up. So cool
Peyton
10:17
Definitely feels like the kind of thing men/kids would do more often if there wasn't laws against it.
"football" 😂 ..uses hands
Peyton saying Omaha before every throw is pure comedy 😅😂
Showing respect and love
"Patriots arent cutting the lines or anything?" hahahaha absolutely love peyton and eli. Great entertainers
Need to change the title - throwing the ball is only half of it.
Cris Carter needs equal recognition on this one.
the way the spiral just breaks and suddenly it becomes a guessing game where the ball will land, was simply nuts.
If not more..
I wouldn’t even try to touch that ball
💯
True 😉
Yeah they should add "Cris Carter with the catch after 300 attempts"
Cris Carter censoring himself from saying vasectomy was so funny
Lol I can’t believe I didn’t realize that’s what he meant. Now I’m cracking up.
@@Killacam1992 lmao, I was like...he should be all the way healed from his circumcision by now.
@@TheAutumnWind_RN4L
😂😂
He wanted to say "reversed my gender" or basically turned his outty into an inny
Is that word not allowed? Wtf
When two blokes decide they're not giving up, they do something that brings great cheer and motivation to many people.
Well said brother
"this aint no punt"
lolol these producers knew exactly what to tell them to get them to agree to this
True 😂
Why do they keep saying Omaha though? I don’t watch football so I’m not familiar with this culture. Is Omaha a team or are they referring the Omaha Mutual company?
@@kishascape in the off chance you're not trolling...your best bet is to just youtube "omaha Peyton Manning" and you'll get your answer.
@@cloud9847well shit I know what video I'm watching next I wanna know
@@cloud9847I love that you didn’t give em the answer! Like who doesn’t know Omaha and Peyton manning?
If Peyton steps over that line of scrimmage, the penalty for an illegal forward pass is much worse than five yards!
It'll be six feet...
his center of gravity looks like its above the ledge, can't blame him for being nervous
Illegal forward pass, 23 story penalty. 2nd down. Someone get Troy Aikman. And get Tom Brady on the phone just in case.
May as well be a 500 yard penalty.
@@clarkkent1521 HAHAHA.
Absolute insanity to attempt that catch, and probably the best spiral I've ever seen Peyton throw in all the years I followed him, haha. Legendary, both of them
I said the same thing! No wobble until Gravity tipped it!
@@ruthjohnson4380 went to Tennessee when he was there and cheered him on his whole career, but he definitely wasn't much of a spiral throwing type 😆
That spiral was so oddly satisfying hypnotic to watch.
amazing work
oh shutup
"Patriots are cutting the lines?" Epic! Love Peyton!
What a couple of absolute legends. Cris Carter 1000% top sport!
That ball was dropping at approximately 50 mph. Terminal velocity of an NFL football varies between 20-25 m/s, depending on environmental factors, so averaging that to 22.5 m/s equals 50.33 mph. NFL QBs throw around 60 mph, but never down at their receiver anywhere close to the angle that these balls were hitting Cris. That was an impressively accurate, far throw by Peyton, and just as impressive of a catch by Cris. Fun to watch!
You are awesome! Thank you for this post
I love science 💕
And all the stabilizing rotational force from Peyton is exhausted so it's moving like an R.A. Dickey knuckleball on the way down.
🤓
perfect spiral out till the speed drops, wounded duck on the straight decline...
"Patriots aren't cutting the lines here?" 😂💀
Don't think that's gonna help him land Belichick doing his show or something else w/ his production company . . .
Btw - the original airdate for this episode was 7/29/19, 5-months after the Patriots beat the Rams in Super Bowl LIII for their 6th Lombardi trophy. Prior to Brady's final year in New England. Peyton, your jealousy's showing.
@@Kitty8791 you protect belichick with your life huh LOL
@@butIhateithere 1) I'm referring to Mike Florio's piece, "Peyton Manning confirms pursuit of Bill Belichick for Omaha Productions."
2) I'm not taking a bullet for anyone, not even the greatest coach ever. And can't forget, Tom Brady's contribution. They were exponentially better together (the whole is greater than the sum of its parts). Bill has 8 Super Bowl rings & Tom has 7; they obtained 6 together. Not my fault you're a Manning fan-boy.
@@Kitty8791 Belichick can take a joke lmfao what are you even saying
@@oak7746somebody took this personal didn’t they 😂
Cris Carter did so much of the work this is so dope
Carter was brave to stand under that coming down at that speed and Peyton clearing them trees across the street to be on target. These guys are great. Love to see more of these extreme challenges. Man who can catch football from the 23rd floor across the street can do anything!
Payton was on-point with every throw. It's that catch which takes balls of titanium. I'm sure CC has some bruises to show for the 18 incompletes, & 1 reception.
This was crazy fun to watch!
@XPaceWorld Daaaay'um!
i count 3
In a suit and tie also, unreal
Chris Carter is such a legend. Made some of the most insane catches
Unless you’re a Dolphins fan.
They failed to mention the sheer velocity of that ball dropping down.
@@killerklown9359 id say 80mph
Larry Fitzgerald had better hands by far
@@leelostickun5528 Fitz had the best hands ever. I met Fitz in Minneapolis while I was there a convention, biggest hand I have ever shook by FAR. Fucking huge hands.......lol
Peyton stale humor is second to none! Love that man!
These two guys were hilarious. Made me laugh and made my day... 😂😂❤❤
It's no wonder he dropped so many passes. He was NOT in the end zone! "All Cris Carter does is catch touchdowns."
Right on.
Crazy how the eagles let him walk...
Ultimately it was probably what saved him. He needed to get away.
@@flynlulus they let him walk because he was addicted to cocaine, weed and alcohol. It was a wake up call for CC. He’s credited coach Buddy Ryan with saving his life (and career).
Now throw it back to him! LOL
Peyton's throw has gravity on its side. I don't think you could get it past the 2nd or 3rd floor from the ground.
@@joemckim1183🙄
say what now? we gotta pause that bro ⏸
Yea
Okay uncle Rico
I love people just bringing out the best in them and having the time of their lives
That second catch right there 🏈 put a smile on my face, and Manning still got arm for days 🎯
You ain’t slick, we all see that bulletproof vest Chris wore 😂😂
lol yeah they should have just said something. It's not like anyone would care. Hell, I'd want a vest too. Getting tagged in the chest by a football that's probably pushing 50mph wearing nothing but a button up would hurt like a mofo.
He thought he cud die from that misile
Cameraman just chilling on that ledge is wild!
Like a Gargoyle...
Camera man never dies
this actually looked really fun to make holy hell
Peyton will always be the goat in my eyes
Same here brother.
Yep.
💯 Only QB to ever go to 4 Super Bowls with 4 different head coaches.
The goat football mind, maybe. In terms of pure thrower and intangibles? Manning isn't close to Rodgers, Brady, and Mahomes. Sorry.
Real Goat
Just two legends making it happen!
Nah he was really about to say “that reversed my vasectomy” 😂😂😂 4:13
He was so scared at first! LOL he got it after ❤
Nah that last catch ALL HANDS TOO, CC may be the most under rated WR or one of them the newer generations like mine don’t realize how good this dude was
He was very good, not the fastest, but had great hands, ans was a great route runner
Definitely NOT UNDERRATED!
Deion would have caught it on the first attempt.
Amazing work gents! Also hats off to the production crew for doing a superb job on capturing the moment
Yes you did a wonderful job!
I’ve always loved Payton since Tennessee. Incredible!
Chris Carter showing us all what a great sport he is. Thank you Chris!
This is honestly a CRAZY IMPRESSIVE throw and catch if you think about it 😅
Especially with Chris at 58 and Peyton at 48!
Its bananas !
No idea why this was in my feed, but I watched the whole thing and that was pretty awesome. Funny to see how when the perfect spiral lost velocity it started to wobble hectically.
okay that last catch is just showing off now LMAO CC and Peyton are absolute legends
Thank you for making the broncos something special for me Peyton, it’s amazing for a legend to play for your home team.
When the retired guy throws better than 90% of the NFL QBs right now.
Peyton had lost a lot of his arm strength in his final season. Gravity had a lot to do with him being able to get the ball that far.
@joemckim1183 That spiral BEFORE gravity took over was smooth though.
Not even
@@joemckim1183gravity made the ball go farther? Huh?
@@cchavezjr7 Gravity is the wrong word. But the ball kept on falling as long as the ball was angling forward when if he through it on the ground it would eventually the ground and stop.
The balls rotation slows down so much it starts to go into a wild tumble as it starts to drop straight down.
Thank you Manning and Carter for this great entertainment.
It also looked like the sun was facing in the direction of the receivers eyes.. they could have worked out the ideal time of day where they can repeat the whole setup without needing to make adjustments in their positions..
The balls can't maintain a spiral all the way down due to the Dzhanibekov effect.
I noticed that too. That tells you just how insanely far it had to travel to get to earth or ground. Props to Chris Carter for being able to make those last two catches. That was tougher than it looked.
I smiled the whole time watching this! Laughed audibly a couple times too. What a fun video!
I loved football back in the day. I'm glad I caught the best years of the game.
8:21 such a cool shot with that zoom
Imagine tracking that 20 times in a row. That camera crew earned respect.
He's got to gave a focus puller on the zoom, right? Can't imagine a camera guy doing all that at once.
That last catch was icing on the cake. Great video Omaha crew.
This was so cool - thanks for doing and sharing!!!!!!!!
Two great players having fun like kids again. Great video.
I just got to say I love this video. I love Payton and the good vibes and energy that radiates. As for the people who has been featured on the episodes as well and all the good stories being told is great as well
DAmn. I am very impressed with Peytons accuracy here. Long retired, and cold. That first throw literally landed in the exact spot Cris' feet were. And funny to boot!
And since its so far, it loses its spiral, so its essentially a knuckle ball at the end. Its why he was having so much difficulty tracking at the end.
There is some crazy physics goin on with that ball for sure towards the end.
@@righteyeartistry156the spiral dies due to the Dzhanibekov effect
I work up the street from Bryant Park and took a short break there today. Then this pops up in my feed. Pretty cool.
this was awesome and wholesome . i miss these legends in action
Pure gold right here. Respect to these legends.
One of the best arms and probably the best hands ever to play the game.
Wow that Last Throw was perfect 👌. Beautiful Payton 😍.
That look over the edge 😅😂 That last pass was a thing of beauty 💪🏾
Thanks for sticking at it, both of you guys and your team.
2 LEGENDS 🤜🏾🤛🏻
Production worrying about Cris' well being wearing a helmet or not meanwhile there's a cameraman perched on a ledge right next to Peyton trying to get the video.
Whats to worry about? Everyone knows cameraman dont die.
And Peyton if he stumbled with forward momentum. I can’t believe they got this okayed, but sweet video!
Needs soccer goalie gloves. Gotta love Peyton and Chris. GREAT VIDEO.
That ball is comming down like a missile
That was totally impressive!! So cool.
When he finally caught the rock I swear it felt just like the game winning touchdown pass scene from The Waterboy 😂😂
OMG THAT WAS EXACTLY WHAT I WAS THINKING
I Enjoyed this!!!!!! thank you GO VOLS!!!
Dat catch had hype🎉🎉🎉
Payton still throws one of the most beautiful spirals you'll ever see.
I love Peyton but from my memory his spirals were actually almost non existent 😅 his accuracy was amazing but he threw wobblers all day
@@andrew08857 Yeah, no way that comment is from a real fan. Peyton never had a pretty spiral lmao

This is like saying Michael Jordan is bad at winning, did you watch Manning play?
Don’t forget that CC had arguably the greatest hands in the history of football too. Not easy
That was great. Couldn’t get two better guys for this. Helluva display.
that’s the best throw and catch i’ve ever seen. congratulations gentlemen.
Hands down my favorite quarterback of all time that didn't play for my favorite football team. Dude's got a great personality.
The heat coming off that ball at the end 😅man 10/10
I absolutely love how we got to see all the takes instead of them editing it down as if it was some NBD nailed first-try cap. I’m glad they show how ridiculously hard this actually is
Really fun video, glad I watched this morning 😅 Manning said "got one more?" 😅
Love to see more of CC. He was great in this video.
C'mon that first catch was crazy. Give it to Manning for his age to throw that beautiful spin in slow motion. Wow, that throw.
He's not that old, still in his 40s.
"Patriots aren't cuttin the line here?..."😂😂😂😂gold
Peyton, "This is crazy, this is crazy, this is crazy" quoting Chevy Chase in "Vacation" is awesome.
Dis was too hard 🔥🔥🔥
Man that last 20 yards that spiral comes undone and that things just flips everywhere. Love it.
That slow mo for the successful catch, I shouted OMAHA and that slow mo spin gave me goosebumps!!!
I'm on the Iron Range in Northeastern Minnesota & seeing Cris put on a Vikings helmet made me want to put on my Carter jersey to properly support the effort 💜
Two legends!!!
Man, those things got real wobbly near the end. What a wild throw and an incredible catch. I love how much fun they had with this
Watching a legend like CC struggle is pretty funny.
This was amazing!!! Well done gentleman! ❤
Chris looks good in that helmet. Just like the good 'ol days!

It is hysterical, that two grown men, throwing this piece of leather around my fair city, can put such a smile on my face…thank you gentlemen. Kudos to you both, for being good sports, and such professional athletes at the same time, even all these years later.

This was so awesome
I love this. Chris and Payton are hilarious.
Hell of ah throw,,hell of a catch 💯
0:50 Peyton doing his best Chevy Chase impersonation from "Vacation"!
Somebody smarter than me needs to do the calculation and tell us how fast that football was going by the time it got to the ground! 🤓🤪
We don't know the velocity that Manning throws the ball in the upward direction so it can't be calculated exactly. An average QB throws the ball 60 mph, conservatively we can say 10 mph is up, its probably way less than that. It looked to take about 7.5 seconds from throw to catch. Using those assumptions it would be going about 155 mph. However the terminal velocity of a football is about 50-60 mph, so that's about how fast it is going.
@@newracer74 lmao I thought you were going to go with the 150 for a second there
