Japan understands that we don't need a 90 second inspirational video package to get invested in a contestant that's going to hit the water on the third obstacle.
my favorite thing about this is that they're all just a bunch of skater bros having fun. they gush over others' feats, hug it out, and have a good time. all good sportsmanship without the drama, ego, or tension of american shows lmao..
Isn’t it funny that team sports encourage bad sportsmanship, and less structured and solo sports are just full of homies! That’s what I love about snowboarding, randos want to see you succeed!
They should get 2 seconds off for a good final trick, or the tricks could be weighted like in gymnastics, so you get, say, 0.5 to 2 seconds depending on degree of difficulty.

Skateboarding ninja warrior is what the world needs. This is better than SLS
@@BlickyBob Staring at a featureless wall is better than SLS. 🙄
amazing skate skills all around, but I have to give respect to the editor(s) and course designers. Wow.
Gotta love that working class humor at the end.
This is so amazing!!!! I hope the west picks up on this. The Japanese skaters are all so amazing

I feel compelled to watch every episode of this
YES PLEASE!!! We need this show in every country and then do the international competition with finalists from every country!!!!

めちゃくちゃ面白い。もっと話題になってほしい。
I really like the idea of this show Japan knows how to come up with cool ideas to show off the skating talent they have
Japan always tops everything. I have never seen a obstacle skate park like that. Also, thank you that could put the captions to translate.
No one appreciates the inline roller blading camera man keeping up and being able to skate a stable shot.
he wasn't being called gay in japan.
Thanks for the English subtitles. This is great, I want to see more!
I'm stoked on this, this is such a cool concept for a show! Makes me want to go skateboard more
