I would say go for the black KW. Major upgrade from the Lonestar. But if you do decide on the KW, get someone to come take a look at its problems first.
Personally like the blue with the lesser miles, but you have to do what is best for you!
I like the black KW inside the cabinet over the icebox is a peace of wood is a table and that Knob next to the radio is a cell phone mount.
I still like the looks of your Lonestar better. I mean, if it performs as well as the others and gets similar MPG, then why not just upgrade it with the pieces that are missing that the others offer, like more rear chicken lights and an APU etc. I realize the sleeper situation isnt better but, you know where everything is in your truck, (like where to hang the glad-hands and you have an actual rear work light on back of the sleeper) there are no surprises. I'm old school tho, if it aint broke dont fi it! Keep 'em turning so you stay earning... God Bless you and all the Long Haulers out on the road bringing everyone else the stuff they need to survive!

I think that black truck is a good trade, especially if the price is right! The roominess inside the sleeper is nice!
Trade in for the black one, you got to stop scratching in the beginning of taking off . Remember that clutch is a hydraulic clutch you don’t have press down all the way like a spring loaded clutch. I have a W900
You got a wife and kids. You not be home as much. With that truck payment. Don’t let them rip you off on your truck.

beautiful trucks man i used to drive tankers in the late 70s and early 90s our picks where transtar2s maybe a eagle or the 79 pete cabover or a snubnozed ford weak detroit 285hp with 42000lbs climbing a hill in nebraska you could actually open door and walk along side it with drivers door open.yes i did it was bored one night
When your empty you don't have to split the gears you can run it like a 10 speed same with your 13speed just split them when your heavy or going up big hills
That’s how I usually do it. I just split the gears for practice.

That’s a hard one, I like the black W9. I’d say check the price and see how much they’ll give you for the LoneStar and if you think it’s a good deal, go for it if not I’d wait. Haven’t been looking at the truck market like I was two years ago.
But I like that Black one. The sleeper size is amazing and the fact it’s got an APU is a plus

as far as the truck situation goes, it really depends on your finances. In this market as well that is a big ask
She's beautiful I think you should do it but it's really up to you your decision. I've always wanted a W9 It's a decision you're gonna have to make but I don't envy you
Follow alot of trucking channels, not sure why since I've been a machinist for 35 years. But you moved up to #2 behind Bruce. All the others just want to gloat about what the own and talk there family up which is plane as day to see its all scripted and nothing whats so ever to do with trucking. Glad you keep it real.

A thousand and one facts to analyze , then balance between family and work. Have you checked out the newest Kenworth / Peterbilt arrow fuel efficient truck's yet ? I suggested to my niece get professional automatic transmission training ,oh never anything but a stick shift period. Guess what she's now driving a automatic transmission semi truck and painfully admitted she wished she'd looked into the professional training. I told her reacting fast from mussel memory stick shift or automatic transmission saves lives and equipment.

I'd make sure that motor is sturdy, it has more miles than the red white and blue one but that is definitely a nice truck, but your payment stay the same as on your other truck, you do what you feel is best for you

From the way it sounds do more research those miles will be close to a rebuilt which will cost you plenty if your truck is a Detroit it will be much cheaper to rebuild.

I would have lost my cool when you were having a hard time trying to unhook your trailer. I like the look of your truck best but I don't know how it looks inside or drives. SPACE is limited on the sides of the sleeper due to having the sofa. If it had a regular bed on the bottom, the storage would be twice as tall.

The engine is actually over due for its overhaul, it should have been done closer to 500,000 as a rule . The reason its for sale is no doubt the owner didn't want to spend the money to do the necessary work on the engine. Be wary, consult a professional diesel mechanic, ultimately it's your money and livelihood. Good luck. Cheers !

That's a kenworth..lol. I drive a t 680 it's not too bad but sometimes I still have to back up to complete a turn..thank goodness my hood is shorter and lower I can see over it better..as far as the hood mirrors the mounts are there. Kenworth will sell you the mirrors, and you can pop them in and on the black w -900 bit. All seats have both arm rests. Depends on. What seats are in it, but if you want, you can put your arm on the edge of the door it's like an arm rest

I haven’t gotten all of the specs yet. But I know for sure it has a Cummins X15
lol, last thing you want to do is buy a truck with 550K miles....unless you budget an engine rebuild.

Then blue one is a 2023 and the black one is a 2019.

Why didn't you buy the Black W900 with Apu? Was she 18 speed? Should have traded your truck for black W900. As you said so much more room and she prob would been more reliable :)

I didn’t want to pay $160k+ for it. Plus, I don’t think they were going to fix the current repairs on it. If they did, the price would probably increase.
