- This is the Front Row Interview that Kate Bush did on the 22nd November 2011 to promote her critically acclaimed wintry song suite '50 Words For Snow'. So I present to you the first british interview about the album. Enjoy!
John: "But I took him as a merely symbolic snowman, who.."
Kate: "No, John! He's real!"
lol! the cutest part of the interview. :)
Along with, “Well, let’s see how that horse manure works!” 😂
Definitely one of the best records she’s ever made ❤️
It's such a beautiful immersive album.
Adore it, but hard to listen to for me. Well, not hard. But I lost a very close family member lately and this album just destroys me. 10/10 album but it'll always haunt me
@@SonOfTamriel hope you're healing now
as an album probabl the best.
I love her work so much. Her creative mind takes the weirdest bends. But they always grab you. What a ride each album is.
I love the talent of this amazing artist, even I did not borned in her years, I am 28. I found her a few months ago and I think she is one of the best of all times. Love her art creative and innovaty. A Real artist¡¡¡
I STILL WORSHIP THE GROUND SHE WALKS ON.OXOX
I think Kate enjoyed doing this interview .A very unique recording .
She had struggled hard to live like a normal person... Nowadays it reflects on her songs. As it always did...
She has no boundaries.
Wish she could live forever!!!
I just adore her, she’s is unarguably a GENIUS, my hero
5:32 Her speaking voice is so expressive ❤ The way she says ‘cold’ really makes you feel the chill ❄️
I love Kate bush's laugh
I wonder why she doesn't do more radio interviews like this. She seams to be engaged here and enjoying the talk.
i love her so much. she's a true artist that really worth hear every song. 50 words is and incredible piece of work, dense, deep. i'm amazed...
12:49 “I took him as a purely symbolic…” “No John!!! He’s real!!!” Lol love that part
Almost two years later now and I still absolutely love "Snowflake"
Snowflake is amazing.
Thank you dearest Kate for this wonderful album and interview💥💜💯
I couldn't love her or her music anymore if I tried!! I am about her age and I am a lifelong fan. I love this album, if you don't have it, go buy it!! It's hypnotic, beautiful, dark at times, and endlessly fascinating and it transports you into her world. Unlike many female artists, Kate Bush knows how to write songs that pull you into a world that you never want to leave. In a world of disposable music, this is timeless like a diamond in the snow.
To me, 50 Words For Snow is Kate's most mesmorizing since Hounds Of Love! My favorites are the title track and Wild Man.
Kate loves creating music ☃☃☃
Beautiful album...turn out the lights and float away in the majesty and brilliance of Kate's genius. Love her.
She's just awesome. I have to buy her new album and I would love to get in touch with her.
i love her so much
Seriously underappreciated album:)
So agree with you. the new album is so amazing. So glad that she's still making music. she's one of the greatest ever. take care.
Anyone who's heard this album thoroughly... words can't convey the true magesterial beauty of this album. Just a shame about Elton...
Why is it a shame?
I love that woman.
fantastic.....thank you for the experience
such a deep album.
This new album is fabulous and I love her. Think Lake Tahoe is my favourite and then Misty !!!
Such a magnificent woman.
such a masterpiece !
Such a special album. Haunting and mysterious. Comforting too.
She also did two albums in one year in 1978 as well. Not sure if everyone noticed or forgotten.
I love this, thank you for upload! :)
Don't know why some people make shit on Elton's perfomance.I really loved it,maybe more than the Andy Fairweather's one on " Wild Man" xD.
By the way,Misty, one of the best tracks of Kate.Such a deep orchestration on this CD!!
i love her so much :,(
great interview ..so fun
I live very near Lake Tahoe and I have never heard of the woman, lol. Now I'm going to be creeped out every time I go to the beach : P
@ricardojoglar "How nice to know that Kate remains grand, noble and true. A precious, every song and album, thank you Kate." - ricardojoglar.
my fave album of hers
Fantastic interview:)
Kate Bush is everything
And she did play live!! Haha
50 wfs isn't the sort of album to play live.
The best, love you, many kisses
brilliant!
@SuperSean1970 Yep, beats the hell out of any gagas 1/100. It's pure MAGIC. And pure GENIOUS, do I have to add.
11 years ago and no new album.
great album. at least four great tracks
WHY HASNT SHE RELEASED THE ALBUM THEN YET
What are you talking about? She released this album more than 9 years ago! lol
@@MoonchildDog nooo, at the end she says 'oh yes, i've got a lot of ideas left', or something like that, so i'm saying how desperate i am for a new album
@@MacaulayFergusson Ah, ok! I think we're all desperate for a new album, but just because she has ideas left, doesn't mean any of them will come to fruition, unfortunately. We can only be so lucky if/when she releases new material again. Fingers crossed!
grazie....roberto dall'italia
I can't believe in the song that she did with Elton John. I don't think he fits and his vocals are too exaggerated. I don't like him as a singer or as a person and I can't imagine Kate and him a an eternal couple. Bowie would have been so much better. Or anyone else but Elton John.
David Bowie and Kate Bush. Imagine the greatness of that duet.
Haa! I could never make out that word, so thanx - I think....
Elton... who? "...he's too busy hitting the Vaseline" ('WOW' -Kate Bush)
Meow!
2 albums? I thought arial was a double?? So realy it where 3 albums
I take my hat off for a Lady lik that!!
MUSE ABUSERS! I have auotplay OFF.
You will BURN Louie Gray! (unless you change your attitude.)
She is great but a tad overrated by the theatrical commenting community.Stephen Fry is irritating too.
Irritating possibly, but not necessarily wrong. Depends on your taste in languages & accent.
What is the 'theatrical commenting community'? If you are suggesting that the people who post admiring comments on KB-related videos show a tendency to hyperbole, surely much the same can be said of the fans of any artist. Whether they are justified is another matter. Overrated? Well, ok, but what's the benchmark for the comparison? Your passing off your own subjective opinion as something more objective and authoritative than it is.
Fans will enthuse, and that's just as it should be. For a more definitive evaluation of an artist's merit, then other indicators are available. For example, the longevity of their reputation, or their salience with audiences in successive generations. Most importantly of all, however, is the esteem in which they are held by their peers - other musicians - and have influenced them. In these terms, I think that it is clear that Kate Bush was, and continues to be, one of the most admired and influential artists of her generation, and of the modern era.
@@Ozymandi_as Thank you for your theatrical comment, Ozymandias !
Look on my Works, ye Mighty, and despair ! 😗😚
