- In this video, I show you how to make a beachy scarf from a Cotton Cake and Chandi's Boho Triangle Shawl pattern. Working with triple crochet stitches, chains and a Caron Cotton Cake in the colorway Beachglass, I'll show you how I made this lightweight 'beachy' scarf to wear with summer outfits.

This is lovely. Remembered you were off this week. Hope you had a great time with your grandkids. - Paula
I love the painting you've done of the elephants from africa.
Very pretty and I would make it small as well.
Very pretty scarf! I like that you explain how we can change a pattern to suit our needs. Thank you.
Very nice!
Love it! Colors are beautiful.
Very pretty. I love the colors 😍
Hi Jeanne. The scarf is gorgeous. I love your tip about making a chain at each end to tame them underneath while you're wearing it. You have such great tips.
Thanks Cindy!😊
I've been wanting to do the Sophie's Choice afghan for a while. I need to just go ahead and start it lol. World, Ice, gray and roving.

Love the Beach Scarf . Love though the colorway .
I love Chandi and her yarn too!
You have done it again! It’s so pretty like the idea of the bow..

Love the colors! It looks beautiful on you. It's a beautiful scarf! You are so talented , Jeanne. Thanks for sharing. God Bless.💜
Your wearable crochet is just lovely. I'm loving that look. I subscribed to your channel just now to see what other great ideas you come up with, like the chain tie at the ends of the scarf
I absolutely love this scarf. You are inspiring me to move out of my comfort zone and play with the pattern more.
You have done such a beautiful job of making this pattern your own
That’s a beautiful scarf
Thank you for the tip Love the chain tie idea 🌹
Hi Jeanne! I found your channel about a week ago and have already watched most of your videos. I’ve joined your Facebook group as well. I have been a Crocheter for a long time. And I appreciate your insights into patterns. I don’t use a lot of big box store acrylic yarns because I have a local yarn shop that has beautiful natural fiber yarns but I do like your suggestions and reasoning behind your choices. I belong to a local knitting group. They have somewhat pushed me to be a “yarn snob”. So now I spend way too much on yarns for projects! Oh well
Thanks again for a fun, informative channel. I look forward to your next video.
Thank you, Marilyn, for your sweet comments!I have too much yarn around here🙃
I just love this pattern and your so clever. I am watching this for the 2nd time trying to find the video tutorial? I guess I will use link in this video to the boho scarf. Thank you!
Beautiful shawl! Beautiful yarn choice! Thanks for the pattern review.
I absolutely love that colourway & scarf/shawlette pattern.💙💚💙 It would be easy to choose yarns of 4 or 5 different colours I like to create those colour gradients in stripes.😉 Brilliant idea attaching the chain ties to hold it on securely, Jeanne.👍 I only just found this episode & perfect timing as we Aussies have started Spring.🌹🌞🌷 Blessings from South Australia.💕🐨
I agree with you regarding Chandi at Expression Fiber Arts; I love her, her yarns & patterns...🥰
Thank you for the pattern I love everything that you make
It would be nice if you wanted to share when you crocheted this kind of shawl.
Such a great look love the drape in front. I have a short neck so don’t like things that come up high on me. I would love to make this. Love your style it suites my “age” well lol
Nice scarf and I appreciate the tips. The caron cotton cake works up great, haven't used that yet. Thanks
Beautiful Jeanie! Classy look
Beautiful shawl and great idea!
Very Pretty, I love her work too!
Love your idea of the tie string, Thank you for sharing!
Love this! Colors are great!
Hi Jeanne the scarf is lovely. Have a wonderful Memorial Day .😀
Jeanne, Looks so nice, clever idea to the tying .if I wear one it would fall off so I love this idea. Thank you.
Very nice. I like it simple, I'm not a fringy type either.
Beautiful scarf. I just bought that same colour of Cotton cake. So pretty 😊
Thanks Joan! I had a ton of it leftover. Not sure what I’m doing to do with it🙃
Beautiful!
Ho I like that shawl it’s beautiful and thanks for sharing
That's gorgeous!! Such a pretty color. I do love Chandi! She has great patterns on her website 🙂
Love your scarf,I just bought that same color in Caron Cotton Cake. I'm currently making a top that you just did last week. Thank you for your inspiration and your art😊
I love the Caron Cotton Cakes also-I have a few but not this color. It's beautiful and I'm not big on scarves, but you have peeked my interest and I do think I'll try this pattern. Thanks!
nive carf. it looks wonderful. Great patern but greater crocheter. i'm always glad to see your face. I always feel your talking with me. That's quite a talent. You make me feel less alone. namaste, Judi
Your shawl is beautiful Jeanne! You have such good ideas, I like the chains that you can tie, that way the ends won't come loose. Chandi does have beautiful yarn and patterns, I've never tried any of them, but this one looks quite easy.
It’s a free pattern!
Thank you, I downloaded the pattern.
Where do I go to download the free pattern please
That is beautiful 😍
Another beautiful design and how smart to make chains so you can tie it
Started a scarf but wrong type yarn. Frogging. Love soft cottons
Hello Ms Jenny, It's a very pretty 😍👍💖
Hi!!! Love the colorway you went with. You mentioned the cake and I was wondering if that is cotton yarn or acrylic? Also, how much of the cake did you use when making your scarf?
I used a Caron Cotton Cake (cooler for Beachy scarf). I literally had about 3/4 of the cake left! You could use the acrylic one but it might be a bit scratchy for summer wear.
Hi Jeanne! New subscriber here. Excited to watch your videos! julie from TX
Welcome, Julie❤️
👍💟
When I buy a multi colored cake I always color control. I like to use all of the colors and have each one stop and start on the ends. I don’t like for the colors to meet in the middle.
That is a very scraf.
Where can I find the pattern of this beautiful scarf ?

Love the pattern for this shawl but I’m being dim but where can I find this pattern thanx

Where is the pattern? The link to it does not work.

Use this link. I just went to her expressionfiberarts.com website, searched Boho Scarf pattern. It's free!
If you used thread yarn, lace yarn or even a #2 weight yarn as the pattern was designed for, it wouldn't be hot and bulky. Personally, I love the original design. It looks lighter than air and the drape is beautiful. The mini version with #4 yarn and a huge hook looks bulky. Her original design was mean for light yarn. Using heavy yarn for that shawl is like wearing work boots to dance a ballet. Again...just my opinion.
Beautiful work.. looks gorgeous on you!
How bout, instead of making the chains, connect the back. Turn it into a cowl like.
That’s a great suggestion. I just got a wild idea about the chains. Connecting them would work too.
@@OnTheHookCrochetwithJeanne Yay!!! Can't wait to see your next creation!
Where is the pattern?!!!
The pattern link is in the description box. Expression Fiber Arts. The Boho Scarf. Free on her website. Enjoy!❤️
