I would try those 2 colors together. Although not an exact match, they do compliment each other. It might match closer to where the stripe meets the next color. It just might surprise you! 👍👍👍👍👍

I learned the basics from sc bc from my Nana when I was alittle girl, but never took crocheting seriously until recently . I have come to truly enjoy it and I feel renewed sense of my worth. I was really depressed that I couldn't work and provide for myself anymore. Crocheting helps alot. I feel good again. Your videos are easy for me to follow and the garments come out very nice. Thank you sooooo very much!!!!!

Hi Crystal! Good morning. I saw the Caron cotton cakes when you were doing a shopping video a while back. I was so excited I had my hubby run to Michaels and get one for me. I really like the Caron cotton cakes better than the comfy cotton. Both are soft but I don't like a lot of the colorways in the comfy cotton. They're both great Yarns and they both definitely will be used by me for different projects. Thank you so much for introducing this to us. :-)
Great review. I love both the Caron and Lion Brand cotton blends. They are great for shawls, wraps and even tote bags. I've made a lot with both yarn types.
Really appreciate this comparison video. Sometimes it is so difficult to figure out the differences when you haven’t used the yarns before. Also appreciate the explanation as to whether a yarn is a light number 4 or thick number three. It is difficult to tell unless you have the yarns to compare. As I have not used either of these, this is very useful information. Thank you.

I have made bags and tops with these yarns. The patterns I’ve made with them are pretty airy and the bags I’ve made using your pattern the one you just made a couple of days ago and I really love how it came out ❤️❤️

Caron cakes are expensive and even though there are sales many times the variety s picked though like a Walmart super sale. I love the big Caron cakes, various colors are beautiful. I wish they do an ombre!

I made a floor length maxi skirt with this to try. I found it very easy to work with, it blocked great and I found it airy and not too heavy

I have used the cotton cake to make a summer top, your pattern and I really like working with it.
I wonder if the yarn would feel softer if it had been wound a lot looser in comparison with a cake that had been wound firmer??

Thanks for this review. I like the bigger cakes. I've mixed cotton and acrylic for market and beach bags. The Caron yarn would make them lighter.

I purchased this yarn it's great to work with.
I love the Caron. It's a nice tightly plied yarn, so it's quite dense, and doesn't split. It has FABULOUS stitch definition!
