Customer Feedback Survey - Good Customer Service or Not?
My job believes in surveys and they dont understand how much it mentally affects people’s lives who honestly try their best to make that one person happy on the phone. Yet surveys are offered and it is then taken as a reflection of the person behind the phone actually doing the work.
I have to tell you. I despise customer surveys, feedback, take a moment, answer 3 simple questions. Everywhere I go, everything I do. This is amplified because I am a purchasing agent for a major university. I handle about 35-50 purchases a day. The fun is not over when I finish the purchase because every purchase has to be reconciled later. Yet I am hit with emails asking me to do more work. I wait on the phone longer to hear the message of a survey I am to take at the end of the call. I would need another 4 hours in my day just to take surveys and feedback. I opt out of newsletters and updates only to get them anyway. Then what I do in my personal life is hit with the same thing. This is nothing more than spamming and I hate it.
Fuck these surveys. I am burned out.
