- Larry & Mary Shankle have become familiar faces at SAS meetings for the last couple of years. Their enthusiasm and dedication to the hobby and the club are readily apparent to all who meet them. In their home they maintain a bewildering array of aquaria, fish racks and home-made fry keepers. They often bring fish to the monthly auctions, especially their variety of high quality rainbow fish. The Sacramento Aquarium Society meets monthly, on the first Saturday of each month. For now the SAS is meeting online with live-streamed interviews and events. Normally, the SAS meets at the Round Table Pizza, 9500 Greenback Lane, Folsom, CA (the business fronts onto Madison Avenue). General meetings start at 6:00pm. Pre-meeting social time starts at 3:45pm. Auction check-in is 4:00pm - 5:30pm. For more information, please visit SacramentoAquariumSociety.info/.

It's been a couple of year since I've seen M.trifasciata for sale..and it was just one and turned out to be a hybrid of some kind. Its ok,he's big now and does fine in the 240 with the M.boesemani even if he is a quarter inch or so the largest Rainbow I have at 5 1/4" maybe more. Never seen Herbert's fish for sale..they would be one to add.
Goyder River and Millenial's and Aytingo's red and blue Boeses? Never seen them for sale.
So,I just add here and there. Rainbows are great..they take to aquarium life so much better than the many South American fish we have all kept.
