Last flight I did with BA was from LHR to MAD. They made me put my carry on in the main cargo hold. I was carrying scale models, and spent the 2 hs flight thinking if they'd break. Luckily that didn't happen.
I've flown on BA I think, 5 times. The first four were between Buenos Aires and London/LHR, and the last one was between LHR and MAD. I flew the EZE-LHR route twice in the B747-400 and twice in the B777 (can't remember the exact variant). Regarding flight comfortability, I prefer aisle seats on long hauls, because I can get in and out of my seat whenever I want without bothering the other. On passengers. On short flights, I like the window seats.
Great review, we flew to JFK out of LHR last year on the 772, got bulkhead seats as a wee upgrade when we got on the flight from the FA, then as an extra treat she gave us food and amenity kits from Business and Premium Economy and as much drink as we needed, and arranged a cockpit visit at the end, BA get some stick but they are brilliant to fly especially long haul!

Same opinion on the seats, the last couple of hrs weren’t great but staff were good and as we were penultimate row (I got the aisle and my wife/daughter got the 2 seats across the aisle) there was plenty of space and opportunity to get up. Also loads of snacks and drinks in the rear galley you could just grab (I may have eaten a lot of shortbread 😂😂)
Great video, Dan! I flew with BA before back in 2017 to and from Lagos, Nigeria on their Boring 772 (was seriously a boring aircraft), and the flight was....mediocre at best. Cabin crew were either npc or strict and the food tasted bland. The IFE was annoyingly slow but manageable. Seats were old but comfortable on a 6hr flight. Next time I fly with them, it better be an improvement just like your what your trip was.
wow G-STBD had the newer bussness class seats. when I flew BA16 from Singapore to London, I took G-STBK and they had the old type as well as the flight from London to Singapore (BA16) using G-STBB.
LHR to LAX is my favourite service. Been with BA, VS and AA. all great services. 9:39 taxi beside A350-1000. This must have been BA281 as the A350-1000 would been BA283 into Los Angeles and BA282 upon return.

I’m not scared of flying but I’ve got mild anxiety as it’s my first time flying solo and the longest flight I’ve ever taken. I’ve flown 7 hours to NYC before with classmates and remember being uncomfortable and the only way I got comfy was by taking it in turns with my friend to put our legs over one another to stretch out. I wasn’t prepared that time but this time I’m going to buy a memory foam U shape neck rest/pillow and a foot hammock so I can raise and straighten my legs if needed. I’m in basic economy and don’t think I’ll pay for a seat booking… I’ll check in as early as I can and arrive at the airport as early as possible, aiming for just before the 3 hour mark to get my boarding pass from the desk. I think the flight out - 22nd Dec - will be pretty horrendous so I’m going to romanticise the hell out of it and remember the purpose of why I’m travelling for a sunny Southern Californian Christmas… to see my boyfriend after being apart for 8 weeks. The flight home on New Year’s Day won’t be as bad… I can tell because in the BA app there’s a chance to upgrade to premium economy and the return flight was much cheaper as it’s not a popular day to travel. I’m hoping I’ll get a spare seat next to me on the return to spread out.
Hay infinite flight if you could add these feature I would think it would make the game a lot better maybe adding the option of having dual cargo loader with the option of having the belt loader or not and also dual or even triple catering trucks for those long haul flights and also maybe a pushback tug with a tow bar so you have option between a tow bar pushback or not
Instead of doing travel vlogs and reviewing stuff (we have Jeb Brooks and Dennis Bunnik for that), why don't you, oh, I don't know, remaster the 747 and C-17? Maybe give the MD11 working instruments while you're at it.
Infinite flight is doing EVERYTHING they can to bring more joy into the flight simulator as they are currently reworking the A380, they also want to change some of the content up with trip reports to keep there audience interested, but instead, we get more greedy and rude people. Just appreciate what you have man. The world doesn’t revolve around you.
@@LanesAviationYT that may be so but I think that if anything, critical comments like mine and a few others ought to show to the PR team and upper management that this is not what the people want; they would be wise to change tact. And it's not so much a demand that I feel entitled to having fulfilled as it is a show of concern. If they keep trying to do travel reviews and other things, that's ok and I'll take my business elsewhere with pleasure along with others who have the same beliefs and perspective.
@@brandonng4292 IF’s team is small so they can’t rework or add many planes at once, the amount of coding, design and physics that they have to input just to update a singular plane takes almost a whole year. It dosent help when you add suggestions since they already have a cramped schedule. The least we can do is to be thankful that’s we’re getting a rework rather than nothing. 😊

I would like them to reduce the price of the Infinite Flight Pro, in Brazil the price it is being sold for is absurd, I'm sure they would earn a lot more because a lot more people in Brazil would buy it, because we are big fans of aviation
I flew ba and the entertainment system broke on both planes there and back I hated it as we only flew them because of it and were never flying them again thx ba
Number one I don’t like it when the multiplayer cost money and number two on the app I can’t get all the routes. It’s good though but there’s a couple things.
As a paying customer, I expect my monthly subscription to fulfill improvement and expansion on the Infinite Flight product. Sending staff on publicity trips for content creation leaves a sour taste in the mouth of your paying customers and fanbase.

I was recently on a 777-200ER from LHR to PDX, not a bad plane. I've flown many hours on Turkish's fleet of 300ERs and it was very similar to this.
