Great review, well done.
I can't believe Milwaukee didn't put Packout clips on the top of the vacuum for integration with their storage system. And the accessory bag could have been Packout adaptive.
Great idea , probably would be hard to do with a pack out plate and some clips . I might do it
They had to save something for Gen2 version.
That’s version 2.0
Bought one tonight with a bunch of Airtip accessories, too. The thing rocks! Have the bags and the foam (wet) and HEPA filters coming, too. Really glad they brought these out.
I been waiting for this review before going out and buy so thanks for this!! I’m going to buy the same model you got. I don’t think I need the two battery unit!! Thanks Clint…great video bud!!
Let me know how you like it Steve
I've had this vacuum for a week now doing construction work. Been happy with its performance. I'm on the dewalt platform so we've been running it with an adapter and it has been great
@@ToolReviewZone I will for sure!!
@@ToolReviewZone hi
In your opinion TRZ….Honestly
Does is suck or blow?
It sucks and blows 💪
Depends on your mood
Fantastic review! I'm loving the modularity, maybe a Packout bracket can be modded to the top for a nice Packout rolling base!
Shweet shweet review! Keep em coming. Gotta love Milwaukee (most of the time). Prices could come down, would help me and business out I tell ya.
I like the route it's at, seems the motor head are interchangeable. I'll look into getting the 6gallon with the 4 caster wheels, maybe dual batt. Motor. Compact and quiet as possible is important for me. for the dual 12.0 battery kinda wanted a vacum with auto cleaner for them quick drywall patch jobs.
Impressive overall and appreciate the review. Everything well thought out and accounted for. I like the idea of a cordless vacuum in those instances where a cord is just not feasible or not worth the time to drag it out or about. However, at this price point, this would be the answer for even more if it at least included the option of dual power like many of their lights now. Not so much worried about it charging a battery with that option either even though the bag appears to have room for a charger and an extra battery or few. Stay safe all.
The 12 gallon gives you the plug in option with a AC head
Thank you for the fyi and setting me straight. You’re the best! Stay safe
@@ToolReviewZone is it the size of the bucket or the size of the head that gets you the plug-in option?
It looks like then9 gallon, 4.25 ho, version has dual batteries and (I’m hoping) the plug-in option for way less than the 12 gallon kits.
@BnR Labs Good question.
How about doing a 5 gallon water bucket race with some other vacs? Yah buddy.👊 We all know who will win, but it sounds fun.
I am a corded guy but this looks great. Looks like it has the power. So much more storage than I need, but it's good to have it available. Also like the way you can wrap up the hose with the cords to hold them up out the way. Daaamn Nice. Thanks man. Keep em coming. 👍🍺
What's up Captain! You can actually buy an AC plugged head for the 12 gallon
@@ToolReviewZone 😕 For an extra $200 though. They need to put down whatever theyre smoking. Its first grade SpongeBob!! Having the option is always better, and in this case it makes more sense than batteries imo. 🤷♂️
So are you saying you like to do a lot of vacuuming by yourself in the bedroom. Lol I was little surprise that Milwaukee released 3 new vacuums after releasing 2 new vacuums 1 for packout and 1 M12. I still have the original Milwaukee M12 vacuum and it still works great but if I need a bigger vacuum I have 3 of the Ridgid vacuum because the price is low and they work great. 🇺🇸✌
Nice review as always, have you heard that Milwaukee is coming out with a corded option for these vacs? Not sure how that’s going to work? Maybe an adapter with an AC cord attached that slides into the battery slot. Keep up the great videos Brother!!!
Hi Jkey. Yes they are. You can buy a separate head for the 12 gallon that is corded 👊👊👊
@@ToolReviewZone awsome, thanks Clint
They make 18v to 110v mini inverters that you can run an extension cord to. I used them to turn my miter saw into a corded saw when needed.
Great Design!
Great review!
I’ll wait for their corded design which shouldn’t sell for more than $100-$135.
Milwaukee tools is owned by the same holding company that owns dewalt and craftsman. I’m very confident that this model will sell in yellow plastic label and craftsman under the red plastic label. For a lot less money.
But $249 for 6 gallon vacuum is more than 300% more than a similar corded vacuum.
I’ve had my Ridgid Corded wet/dry Vacuum for over 15 years and it still works.
The cost of lithium batteries are way overpriced! extremely expensive and I would never buy one.
2 to 4 years of battery life and you’re gonna have to replace it and it’s gonna be at least $50-$100.
I have cobalt tools which is a brand sold through Lowe’s if I was ever gonna buy a lithium battery vacuum it would be one under the cobalt logo because I can use the same batteries.
Great review Clint. A great review. It’s a bit pricey though, think I will by it in the near future
Great review Clint. Milwaukee definitely put some thought into the features and this looks like a solid winner. The rolling cart separation, accessory bag with removal dividers (great for cleaning), bungee cord for hose, and cordless!!! Will be interesting to see if/what the modern king of shop vacuums… Ridgid does to take their lineup to the next level. Will they add octane batteries? Basement looks great and full use of tools with drywall dust all over them …😂 Thanks!!!
Hahaha, this drywall dust is killing me Tide 😪😆👊
Ridgid already has a cordless 9gal vacuum
@@ToolReviewZone one the worst parts of remodeling… drywall dust. My last project it looked like it snowed inside. Argh… wear a mask 😷 bud.
@@LoCon.MCS13 thanks… I did not know they had cordless
Uh, why isn't the attachment bag a Packout? And why isn't there an Packout dock on the top? It's not like Milwaukee had to figure this out on their own, Festool users have been able to mount their boxes on top of their dust extractors for years.
It’s like whoever was in charge of designing the vacuums has never heard of the pack out system
I've come to realize that the people at Milwaukee are kind of disconnected from what a good design actually is. Which is very evident in many of their products.
They need to give a option to plug in!!! I woukd but one instantly! Just cause of the lower noise!
The 12 gl can be used with their new AC plug I'm head as well 👊
Just buy a numatic Charles, who doesn't want a shop vac with a face staring into your soul at 4am err I mean watching you clean.
8:16 the side with the hose goes on the end of the cart with the foot activated clip.
I can't wait for the m12 brush head attachment and the other great attachments!!
It will be even better if it was a hybrid so you could use cord or battery.
I concur. I’m a hybrid guy. I like options.
The 12 gallon can be used with an AC head
@@ToolReviewZone shweet!
Kinda looked like you were having an argument with the blower there mate but great vid
Pretty good but I’ll stick with my ridgid 9 gallon 18 volt nxt model I use and abuse it doesn’t give up great review clint
I don’t remember Vince from VCG Construction ever giving us the dramatic sound affects, he’s probably colluding with the Makita gnome.
I am starting to think they a one in the same Chris 🤔😪
Mannnn I want one now, maybe once mine breaks I’ll upgrade to this one
Real Naaaac like!!! And liked#3!!! Please, pretty please, no more Xtention cords!!! Thanks Clint!!!
KJ 👊👊👊👊
Would this work for fireplace ash? Or would it blow all over my living room? Lol. Great video - thx for the review.
It’s very niiice liike! Great video as usual! You are a funny man Milwaukee IA! 👍🇨🇦
Milwaukee as always is impressive!! Great review!
Great review Sir
They should make an attachment for power with a pedal for table saw or miter saw.
I just ordered one of the 6 gallon vacuums, does that attachment bag come with the vacuum???
That is the definition of “real nass like”!
I'd like to see what it's like hooked up to mitre saw and table saw
One thing I don't like about the Milwaukee vacuum is the height. Will it fit in the back of my pickup truck with the cover down. What is the height of the vacuum by itself so I can measure the height in the back of my truck. Thanks brother 🇺🇸💯👍
I'll take a measurement brother
I've had this vacuum for a week now and it does fit under my tonneau cover while on the base. F350
Ok I’ll be the one to say it - PUT ON SOME SHOES MAN!!! 😂. Great video Clint.
Haha, these are see through steel toes brother 😆👊
@@ToolReviewZone as long as they’re osha approved. 😂
😆😆👊
A jobsite needs small and large wet/dry vac, not just the big boys. Why, b/c ever try getting a 16 gallon rigid shop vac out a t tub or free standing tub when redoing tile? It sucks🤣🤣 (yep, me knows 🤦🏼, lol).
So, think both sizes have a place in a jobsite, not just residential/remodels, but commercial (getting into hvac, drop ceiling, kitchen prep fridge compressor, etc….) as well, imo.
Cheers🤣
Very impressive piece of kit
Go Clint!
I like that you can buy all of this stuff separately.
I'd do the 35v, 6gal, standard cart, Accessory bag, magnetic utility tool, brushed rocker tool & 3 way crevice tool.
Yes!
Which would you choose between this one and the packout one if you're mostly vacuuming up car dirt but do a diy or two here and there?
I have the packout vacuum that i use for everything and it’s amazing, it would work for your application but because it’s smaller sized you will need to empty it more often, the big one in the video also has a large hose so that could be better in applications where you want to suck up larger debris
Very nice Clint … I’m depleting what tools are on my trucks that plug in maybe the larger vacs if the Ridgid’s ever fail but they do have a lifetime warranty brother 👊🏼👊🏼✌🏼🙋♂️🔨🪚🇺🇸🇺🇸
Can't beat the lifetime warranty Fred 👊👊👊
@@ToolReviewZone
Sure can’t 👊🏼👊🏼
Would you say the power of this is at the same power with the fuel packout version? Maybe the only difference between the two is the gallons capacity?
Will you be getting the other 2 models to do a comparison? I was thinking I wanted the big one for the 2.5” hose but god is it expensive for a vacuum.
I like the hose management.
I'd like to see someone come up with a solution for using long 2.5" dia. (20-30ft) hoses, that can be stored easily on the vac.
The modularity is okay, but it could also be a drawback. May be easier to misplace the pieces?
They sell corded power heads, but you may as well pay the extra few bucks and piece together a whole second vacuum...
The people who want the cord head option may end up essentially buying an entire second vacuum just for the cord ability. Great sales strategy I guess? Who wants a lone shop vac head laying around, having to switch heads back and forth to use battery or not.. Very clever Waukiahhee. Give them the option for a cord, but make it so inconvenient/ impractical that they just buy a whole nother vacuum.
I dont like the base design.
It seems excessive. I would have rather seen them utilize the whole footprint and add something like a built in cyclone/dust seperator. I know its kind of user specific, but the vast majority of my vacuuming is saw dust, preferably straight from the tool I'm using. The filters still get clogged with fine particles but a seperator does make it a bit easier to clean, not having to take the head off, flip your whole vac upsidedown etc.
I'm not even that passionate about vacuums. The hefty fee for a simple power cord really grinds my gears though. Go grab any entry level shop vac... Guess what it has? A power cord! Lol, FWIW.
Needed a packout top!!!
so im wondering with the dual battery units do you have to run the same size batteries? also im guessing it wont run with just one as you said its 36v so if one dies earlier its going to shut down. i mean i guess its not a huge deal when your in the m18 system and you have a few batteries. just thinking some of them reasons are going sway people to buy the single battery model more than likely. i mean thats where im kinda at with it.
I like it a lot. What are the dimensions?
Is the double battery version worth getting over this one?
Can you possibly do a size comparison with any other vacuums you own?
Yep 👊
@@ToolReviewZone I wanna buy this thing asap but have limited space, thanks!
can you hook the packout wall mount plate to the top of the vacuum cleaner (where you hook on the accessories bag)?
Certainly, a nice device but what keeps me out of the Milwaukee ecosystem is price. I have a Ryobi six-gallon vacuum for less than one-half the cost of the Milwaukee. Possibly the cheese-head vac sucks harder, but I am completely satisfied with my (when I bought it it was $99 +tax) Ryobi. I use some of my Ryobi tools daily and endure the nonsense about how Ryobi is inferior and only for "homeowners", Oh, I forgot, great video and per usual.
Yeah Jihn, this is around $299, so definitely not cheap brother
Gd job keep up the real nice like work 👌
Does it have a cord too tho??
Do they have filter bags?
All that for $249? Hell, the M18 Packout is $199 for 2 gallon. Interesting 🤔
Yea right, the backpack vac is $299!!! This is a steal at $249!!!
Definitely not to bad for the price Jean 👊
Has anyone figured out why this isn't packout compatible? Did Milwaukee say anything about it, TRZ? Seems like an amazing vacuum, but also seems like it's just begging to be some sort of packout XL sized version where you could cart it in with the existing caster system and with other tools on top, right?
They already have a new packout vac. This would probably be to big for the system
I start to misslike the form factor of much millwaukee, big and clumpsy and take up to much size.
why not just make it packoutsized, with a packout sized box at the top where you put a very flexible snake like festool does.
Awesome, I never even seen that vac. That's real niiice like nat'
I'd rather have the saw lol did I win , Milwaukee really coming to the table with stuff I love it
Where's your shoes Clint? 👣 You're in a construction site... Wouldn't want my favorite tool guy getting hurt 🤕.
Milwaukee 6 gal vac real nice like👍🏻
These are my new, clear steel toes Robert 😏👊
@@ToolReviewZone 🤣 I wanna pair!!! 🤤👣 Keep up the great vids...
Don't start going all magic Mike over there with the vacuum air blowing on you 🙈🤣, you like it better than the ryobi 6 gallon vacuum, I'd buy the ryobi 40v vacuum but have to upgrade the caster wheels to better ones.
Hahaha
Anyone know if the blower is strong enough to inflate a raft?
They could have integrated a spot for a cord.
Very nice.
Nice. Seems like nobody can make wheels that last on a shop vac.
They stated that these will outlast the others by far. I seen a test they ran on a treadmill, it was pretty cool
Smeeesh that like button 👀👉🏼 👍🏽 cause it’s real nasss like yes indeed!
Milwaukee should have designed those to be PACKOUT compatible especially with the PACKOUT dolly which I’m sure some would like that.
My dude Jason in the house. That's real nass like. They already have the packout vac, ut this would probably be a bit to big/heavy. Thanks for the SMEEESH Jason!!!
@@ToolReviewZone the packout boxes would go on top just like systainers go on top of dust extractors
This thing is real naaaassss like!!
Clint... You forgot to mention BRUSHLESS in the title...
I can do better, I will do better brother 😪
@@ToolReviewZone You're still very entertaining. Also, great work on the basement.
I would like to see a comparison between the milwaukee and Bauer cordless vacuum. I have to say the Bauer looks better, is more compact, and the batteries are cheaper than the milwaukee. I like milwaukee but Bauer seems to be stepping it up with their tools
Me a minute into the video in disbelief I fell for thumbnail pun
Seems like Makita has been pretty quiet lately??
Yeah, the Gnome is in hibernation 🤷
Nice unit. I can see this being used by mobile car detailers.
They played me some ad of a dude doing a tool review, I thought I clicked the wrong video...
Who was it?
@@ToolReviewZone Nobody that I ever heard of. It may have been an ad, disguised as a tool bench review?
He had some electrical type equipment on a desk, I skipped it real fast, sorry 😆
If it comes in 6, 9 and 12 gallon size. The 6 gallon takes 1 18 volt battery. The 9 gallon takes 2 18 volt batteries and the 12 gallon is AC powered. If you look at home depot link that's what it shows.
If you get 87 cfm with this it's pretty impressive. The 2 battery option or Corded option is going to be over 100 cfm.
$249 for a bare tool isn't bad considering the packout was around $200.
The AC powered head can be bought separately for around $150 and can be swapped ok the 12 gallon 👊
@@ToolReviewZone
Thanks for the reply. Thanks for the video.
The 2 battery powered version gets 109 cfm on high and 87 cfm on low.
5 thumbnail I've seen to say "it sucks!"
Hi Clint
Boom 100th like. I'm still debating on which red vac platform I need. Lol. Gotta grab one soon though
My dude Kentucky 🙌
For a second there thought I might have to turn the channel due to a blower club porno…
Real Nass Like.
I knew it was going to suck!
A up Clint
How’s it going Brother… hope you and the Mrs are all well ,, as for the vac I think it’s REAL NASS LIKE 👍 but I think I would not get the battery one I’d get the mains ☝️one
As alway Brother great video 👍👍👍👍🪚

It sucks and blows ? Perfect LoL
The right hea got so annoying watching this man not gunna lie but good video
Schweeeeeetttt
That hoover sucks 😀😀👍
When you start buying vacuums Milwaukee and all accessories that’s considered brain washed by brand loyalty. I get the power tools but you don’t need to have your pen, measuring tape, vacuum, boxers and socks all same brand
Bro did u paint spray n leave your tools right there?? Hahahahah lazy ass!! If they was milwaukee they would of gotten picked up hahaha I know cuz I'd a done the same 🤣🤣🤣
