    Watching your videos is getting expensive for me! Recent purchases: Ego blower, Ryobi power washer, MJJC foam cannon (from you), Active short gun, Flexzilla hose, quick connects, and nozzles. Appreciate the all videos which helped me a lot.

    Bought one 5 months ago. Run it off 4AH batteries. Works great last long enough for 2 vehicles for a normal cleaning. Light weight and no loud whining noise like some vacs. Empty after each use & use the blower function to clean its own filter out to keep new.

    Unrelated comment: You should make a spreadsheet with all of the results you have gotten from your pressure washer tests. That way we don't have to watch every single review when we are in the market for one. Just a thought.

      Although this will be more efficient since he is taking the time to make these videos we as his audience can take the time to see his videos there is not many ppl that do this in detail so the appreciation is giving josh views

      Lot of work for little reward, when, regular viewers can't even sub when it costs them NOTHING. Anyways just venting. Nonetheless Josh really is a great content creator.
      For the Koch Chemie guys to be in a few videos with Josh, goes to show Josh's word is respected. (That's what I believe anyways) I need an Australian local to me "Josh" 😀

      Why would he do that??? The point is to watch the full review in real time and "see" it for yourself. You won't get that from a spreadsheet. Not a good thought at all.

    I got the original one last year and use the heck out of it. The Rigid is still my go to, but the cordless has been beyond what expected. The true test was using it with the furminator on dog hair and it’s been great. Thanks for reviewing this new one.

    I bought this unit a few months ago. Already had Ryobi batteries and chargers, so got just the vacuum. I mainly use it for the cars, but have also used it on the garage cleaning up around the work bench and in the house. Works great, great price, and just super handy.

    I would be curious as to if you could check out the new 3 gallon Battery operated Ryobi shop vac. Specs wise it seems to perform just as good as the typical rigid corded vacs on the cheaper end that detailers use most. Seems like it may he a valuable tool for detailers more so than this one

  • @DaveofAllTrades75
    @DaveofAllTrades75 9 месяцев назад

    I’ve had their wet dry 1 gallon vac for several years this must be a re-tooling of an existing version so that they can make it work with their latch system, the one I have is more rectangular and shorter to the ground whereas the one you’re using now is square and over twice as tall. I love it I use it to detail my personal vehicles but even with a four amp battery if you plan on running very long it’s a good idea to have more than one battery because it does seem to eat it really fast lol but otherwise I’ve been very happy with it I’m sure this one’s same specs they just did a redesign.

    Not related to this video but how do you clean dried cement off of the undercarriage, running boards and fenders? Construction company was rinsing concrete into oncoming traffic. I got most of it off but there are stains under the running boards and in the removable fenders (Bronco). Driving me crazy! Any advice would be appreciated

    Hi, I'm looking at a similar 3gal vacuum from Greenworks. In your opinion, is 40 inches of water lift enough for car detailing and/or extraction? It's close to the Ryobi in this video. Also, thanks for the years of great content! Extremely helpful.

    • @probablyslept8142
      @probablyslept8142 9 месяцев назад

      I'm avoiding a generator (for now). Currently I have a 40V battery bucket pressure washer from them (which I love) so it makes sense to also opt for the 40V portable vacuum.

    Is there an inexpensive way to mount this on the wall without having to invest in the expense link mounting system?

    • @floobertuber
      @floobertuber 16 дней назад

      I bought one last week, and I'm not crazy about what the Link mounting panels cost, so I'm looking at this myself. The grooves (or molded lips, whatever you want to call them) looks like it might accept 1/4" plywood that is cut to a matching profile. I may try to make some cleats based on that this spring. Wish I had some 1/4"-thick, but wide, PVC planking to try out for this purpose, but plywood should at least make a DIY prototype as a proof of concept. Another possible alternative/waterproof/easily-cleaned material might be a chunk of leftover floor laminate.

    You know how long the battery lasts in my corded shop vac? This might be a nice little unit, but if it doesn't fill a need or have a purpose in a detailing setup, why bother recommending it? This seems to be more targeted at home owners or apartment owners who have limited room and want to double duty the unit as their shop and home vac.
