This is infuriating and unfair to those who actually suffer real domestic violence from their partners. Because of her, the justice system is going to be even more cold to anyone who has photographic evidence and probably assumed they learned it from Amber.

Judges DON'T decide the validity/merit of evidence in a jury trial.
Particularly worrisome pieces of evidence can often be vetted during the DISCOVERY PROCESS and doubts about validity debated long before actual presentation in the court room - the rest would be situations where evidence becomes inadmissable due to a challenge during proceedings. But, even in a case where trial is before a judge (no jury) a judge cannot show such a blatant level of bias towards evidence - it would just leave a HUGE opening for a successful appeal later on (based on mot having received a fair trial). It could also lead to investigations, sanctions, and even removal of judges that demonstrate such conduct.
So.....

For those who don’t know, what Amber is trying to say she did is called color correcting. If you have dark circles under your eyes or redness from a zit you can cover it up with foundation, but you would be able to see the uneven tones in the skin. If you apply green to red, then put foundation on over it, it cancels out the red.
You can tell she is lying because she says OBVIOUSLY you put on the foundation first then apply the color corrector. That would just leave strange color blotches in the middle of your face. The process she is actually describing is to make fake bruises on screen. Of course they would put the foundation on first then the fake bruise. They aren’t trying to hide anything, they’re making something that isn’t there. Amber is obviously lying.
People who support her can’t name any actual evidence to support her. I’ve only heard sexist things saying men can’t be abused. Well…violence isn’t sexist, but ignorance is.

Color correcting kits and bruise kits are different things. The color correcting kit is more pigmented because you cover it up with foundation. The bruise kit is less pigmented because it supposed to look like a real bruise. It’s easier to convey my point in person, but if you have any questions I can try and answer. I’m not really sure if I understand what you were trying to ask.

In closing arguments, Camille should show an example on herself (exactly what Amber said she used in the order she stated)... putting on concealer, foundation, and then use a bruise kit to create a fake bruise to show the jury. That would be AMAZING!

@Lex R Many many and I mean many makeup artist and women have said foundation doesn't go on first covering marks. And many VFX artists have attested that when creating fake injuries it goes on first. So from both ends this was disproved. Also that a bruise kit is a real thing, which it's sold to create bruises. There's none to cover them. Also the fact the makeup kit she supposedly had at the time wasn't created. However VFX artists said the kit that looks like that, looks exactly like the kit to make bruises.
That would be a Johnny Cochran-like "glove" moment for sure!! Demonstrate and say to the jury, "if this creates a bruise, Amber must lose"!
They definitely need to send that information to Johnny’s lawyers…she is a disgrace. There are real victims of DV with visible bruise and scars from their abuse. Amber needs to go down 😡

Besides all the evidence about her having a bruise kit and knowing what it is, it also doesn't make sense how she tells to apply the color correction to "hide" her "bruises". You always need to use the color correcting make up BEFORE you use foundation, otherwise it doesn't make sense, you'd be green/yellow/blue in the face. So - she's not only talking about her bruise kit, she's also talking about how to apply it, contrary to any color correction. She's applying color, not hiding it.

Have you actually covered bruising before? Because I have, and you don't use dark colors as a cover-up on pale skin. You always go lighter than your natural skin tone when correcting & concealing, never darker. Dark shades don't hide anything, they make it worse.

No makeup company tailors a makeup kit to be called "bruise kit" for covering up bruises (that would destroy the makeup company's reputation while insinuating that they abide in abuse coverup). Thus, Heard uses the term based on what the industry does use the term for...making bruises.

I don't know why or how the media is still continuning to support Amber, given the insurmountable evidence against her. The BBC rattles me especially, they seem to only mention the headlines that favour her accusations "Johnny accused of (fill in blank)", "Amber was (victim of something or other)"... Here are some quick facts about Amber that we know that are proven:
1) He wasn't the only alcoholic and drug abuser. She drank 2 bottles of wine a day, took drugs as well by her own admission.
2) Caught lying about using the makeup that didn't exist back then to "cover her bruises" frequently, which was refuted by the makeup company in court.
3) Past domestic violence arrest against her ex, literally charged and arrested. Plus admitted to domestic violence against Johnny. Plus suspicion of domestic violence against her own sister (her sister was discussing it with her friends by the poolside in a video clip), and assaulted her ex-best friend in public. In contrast Johnny has no history of being violent towards women, every single one of his ex gfs and spouses all speak highly of him, and has said he's never laid hands on them.
4) Audio recording of her admitting to cutting his finger in Australia (not allowed in this trial due to technicalities), proving again that her testimony was a lie. (one of the voices on the tape is now deceased and can't testify)
5) Her psychologist lied about Amber having no domestic violence history and was called out by Johnny's attorney.
6) Has NO witnesses or evidence (all conveniently random strangers that she doesn't know or deceased people like the bodyguard)
7) Her longtime assistant testified under oath that she did not once see or hear any physical abuse from Depp or ever saw any injuries on Heard in all the years. She also testified under oath that Heard spit ON her face when she asked for a raise
8) She visits Dr Kipper's office the day after an alleged incident where she was severely beaten, the doctor's medical report states her in perfect health, with no injuries of any kind on her, also state her skin was in perfect condition. Her explanation was "this was a partial report and I didn't have time to get into the details with the doctor about the injuries". (Day 16 of trial cross examination)
9) Allegedly got her nose broken, hit multiple times, her scalp and hair ripped off, penetrated by a bottle, dragged over broken glass and got her arms and legs "pretty cut up", then somehow felt safe enough to take sleeping pills with her "attacker" in the same house, woke up the next day and made him coffee, then went to James Corden's show miraculously healed. No marks, no scars, no pictures, no medical report . Hair stylist saw no signs of abuse, the hair stylist would've been inches away from her face looking at all the details while working on her appearance, and she saw 0 injuries. Multiple witnesses (including 3 cops) saw no signs of abuse.
10) Allegedly got raped and assaulted multiple times on her honeymoon, then wrote Johnny a love letter saying "it was the most amazing and beautiful honeymoon any girl could've ever dreamed of". (evidence presented in Day 18 of trial)
11) Claimed she wanted to leave Johnny, but in all the audio clips she was the one begging him to stay. Claimed she always tried to de-escalate, but in audio clips she was always the aggressor preventing him from leaving and taunting him .
12) In all her "crying", there's never a single tear coming out of her eyes, even when reciting the most "traumatic experience".
13) Allegedly feared for her life but bought him a large knife.
14) Testified under oath that she was beaten by Johnny with huge chunky rings on all his fingers, said she was "hit so many times in the face over and over again she lost count". 23) Alleges Johnny slashed the soles of her feet, but was seen the next day walking completely normal, again no doctor visits or treatments of any kind even though she has a personal doctor on retainer.

Lying about never assaulted anyone before, when in fact she's assaulted at least 4 that we have evidence of. Lying about her injuries, when a medical record showed absolutely no injuries.
26) She put someone through hell for years, publicly shamed and destroyed his career and life, just so she can be seen as a noble victim and use the attention and sympathy to advance her career and profile. She claims she's never wanted to be seen as a victim and wanted to move on, but appears in countless TV shows and articles talking about her "abuse" and "donation" non stop, literally appeared on every show she could to talk about her being a victim and being noble on the donation that never happened.
27) Amber's own friend, Tillet Wright, a long time close friend with Amber Heard, testified under oath that he's never seen or heard Amber being abused by Johnny Depp. (Day 20 of trial)

She said it right "foundation first concealer and on top of that... bruise kit". If she was talking about a COLOR CORRECTING KIT she would place the color corrector BENEATH the concealer.

I’m 31 years old and have a 15 month old German shepherd puppy who goes crazy when she greets me and chews my arms. Those bruises last for a couple weeks. Ambers bruise on her face disappeared after one day.

I couldn’t believe when she actually blurted out “bruise kit” she’s an actress she knows what a bruise kit is and it’s not for covering up bruises it’s for making them. Any pics of her with a bruise there was ZERO swelling and she’s photographed same day or next day with porcelain skin no bruises not swelling no broken nose. Not to mention paparazzi use high powered flashes which will catch any and all imperfections. I’m confident at this point jury has stopped listening to her but who knows. We will see how long deliberation lasts when it’s time for the jury to reach a verdict. I am speculating they will be in and out with their decision but who knows.

I've never even heard of a bruise kit, and I venture to say most ppl haven't. So, for someone to mention it in court, under oath, and in front of a room of ppl, they obviously use that kind of kit. That was a very damning slip up.

I used to be a makeup artist years ago and worked at MAC. If you’re covering a pre-existing bruise you would usually do the colour correcting before foundation and concealer; if you’re making a bruise, you’d put those colours on last (which is what she said)
