    • @nicklockard
      @nicklockard 2 года назад +81

      IANAL, but it's pretty obvious to me that defending a bad client, who works so hard to parse phrases and lie constructively, is damned near impossible. Amber created this situation. The lawyer has almost NO recourse because Amber's prior testimony fucked everything up royally. Amber thinks she can act like a lawyer, but she clearly doesn't actually know the law and the proper courtroom rules. Amber is really her own worst enemy.

    • @N..P..
      @N..P.. 2 года назад +44

      The problem with this whole "Amber's lying constantly so she's excused because she's trying to defend a liar" thing is this.
      Anyone who pays attention to what you can and can't ask can start to guess if she's asking something thats hearsay, leading, no foundation, or (and even worse, recently) would break attorney client privileges.
      You can try to work with nothing, but it doesn't excuse you very clearly and repetitively breaking rules that you are well aware of. If she's the top in her field, it's because she's dealing with people that allow her to do things that are very clearly against the rules.
      If you listen to Camille, she's slowly getting very irritated. Why? You ever watch someone in your profession thats done the job likely longer than you've been alive, who is one of the top lawyers in her field, consistently and purposely disregard the rules even to the extent they're asking questions that they KNOW you can not legally answer (attorney/client privileges)?
      Yeah. That's Elaine right now.

      The trial in UK was fine. It was a case of libel. Amber Heard was not the defendant, she was a witness in someone else's lawsuit. All the defendant had to prove was that they had reason to believe what they printed was true. Depp knew he wouldn't win, he only brought the case about so that his story would be"heard". US laws are very similar. Where the psychopathic Heard messed-up was by putting her own name on the article that was published. He could then bring about the same case but she could not claim "I had reason to believe it be true" because she was involved in the story and therefore KNEW whether it was true or not.

      As leading as it gets. Let's say the prosecutor says to the victim of a crime to point out the perpetrator. And they're unable to identify the assailant, because he's dressed in a suit or dress. The prosecutor calls to approach the bench. Next thing you know the judge instructions are for the defendant to stand up, then the witness simply points to "you" and you know you're innocent. This is the American justice system. Believe me it's a ponzi scheme.

She tries but eventually reverts to her initial pronunciation, and it’s totally innocent. Actually really nuanced the way she objected. Juries can sometimes get annoyed with a million objections because they want to hear answers and stay to sympathize as if the council objecting is bullying the witness and/or the other attorney. But you notice she gets credibility by the judge consistently sustaining her objections and the subtle way she starts to object in a slow exasperated tone towards the half way point of this video to show that she is just as fed up with this as the jury and it’s not her fault but the other attorney trying to pull a fast one or being dishonest.
