It's bizarre, because she wants to degrade the guy, and make him seem insane, that bizarre line was kissing up to the judge, and attempting to make the guy a joke. That's the whole point of her questioning, he said clearly how he didn't notice any make up, and that it's ridiculous that he would be looking for that... and then she goes on asking him about a dozen SPECIFIC make-up things that most guys have no idea about wasting everybody's time. What's bizarre was her questions, and how she ignored how ridiculous it was.. so she tried to make him seem BIZARRE, because it's annoyed her how he wouldn't dance to her tune. Attempting to make his testimony a joke. Like he's a moron. Meanwhile he was just sick of the BS, and everyone watching loved it, cause so are we.
She didn't like that he clearly didn't notice any bruises, or swelling, so she made him seem like he has no idea what he's talking about. Same with Mr.rosenbaum, and the other douchebag... they ask a question, and act like children if the answer isn't what they like, and they rudely yell heresay, or talk over them saying "i'm simply asking you this..." without even hearing their full answer. Aggravates the hell out of me.

Thats what I got out of her questioning. JD lawyers questions was over in a few minutes and it was basically did you see bruising or swelling. But Ambers lawyer was barraging him with repetitive questions. I swear I heard when he was talking about NOT seeing anything and not noticing if she wore makeup and her lawyer responded "So you seen seen something right?" trying to trip him up to say he saw her bruised or something. What's so frustrating about this is that they call in this guy, waste his time, just to basically ask him questions that make him seem like his testimony and what he saw means nothing. It's degrading. This dude probably makes minimum wage or is at least paid hourly, and had to waste his time for this circus.

Doormen in certain places get paid decent. I know here in certain parts of NYC they get paid 25-30 an hour plus Christmas tips. Which can be 10-20k in cash each year.
Also they’re usually in a workers union and get health insurance. Since this guy was at a building where rich residents live he probably gets paid well above minimum.
After Grandma's make up questioning Mr. Born rotten should have said stop wasting the court's time the way he had told JD.
My father was a lawyer. I was allowed to tag along as a kid to hearings that were public. Years later I've also been a witness in three court hearings. This was all in Germany though. Never have I experienced any line of questioning as weird and ineffective as that of Amber Heard's lawyers.

Was waiting for them to ask how many carbon atoms he saw on Amber Heards face, that's how pointless some of there questions were. The whole reason they called him there is to hear what he saw, then all their questions are like "was she wearing this specific makeup" in an attempt to try to prove that he doesn't know anything

I used to be in court in a past job and I've never heard such weird questioning. There was a lot of desperate crutching at straws. What got me confused was questioning the officer on her role, the notepad she uses and if she uses a pen or pencil. 😆

Honestly I feel that this guy agreed to testify and the only time he had to discuss the questions with the attorney was during his lunch break at work. Him driving off and telling them he was done answering questions was him trying to get back to his other responsibilities at work. It might be strange to the lawyer and judge in court because they are only thinking of his actions and testimony in regards to the case, but like many of you have been saying, this man is the realest person in this entire case. He’s not tied up in the theatrics of this court, he isn’t an actor or a lawyer, he’s one of us: wanting to pay bills, trying to make ends meet. That’s why his testimony is so refreshing. Kudos to this guy for being unapologetically himself.

They were revealing themselves as thinking they were superior. The judge should not have commented. So dismissive and insulting on both their parts.
If you watch the full video you can see the time stamps in the lower right corner. That poor man was in his car testifying FOR OVER THREE HOURS. Imagine being asked questions about someone else’s hair, clothes and makeup for three hours.
It was about 90 minutes in when he said, “I’m so tired of this case… Everybody got problems….” One hour and 45 minutes later (around 7:15pm) is when he started driving off.

When he sincerely exhibits the frustration he had to deal with Amber Heard's level of drama-queen behavior over the dog scratches, it told the jury everything. I know people like that too. They haven’t been diagnosed but there actions are very telling. Some of these are in my own family. It’s exhausting trying to deal with those that have these disorders. Maybe when all is said and done after this trial and some of her friends may try to get her to get help. With her thou I seriously doubt it. I think there are many like her. I just got off the phone with someone that was asking me questions at rapid fire. Finally he said you don’t know the answers do you? I said yes I do but I don’t want you yelling at me if I disagree with you. He tried to tell me he had always had a loud voice which is true. Then I gave him the answer to one of the questions and he told me he never said that and I was flat out lying. My gosh it was just a month ago he went into full detail of what he told me. I just gave up. I’m totally exhausted now. It’s very very hard to deal with people like that. I’m glad you got out of that toxic relationship.

As you're walking down the street, you won't remember the makes and models of all the cars you pass by, but if you saw a DeLorean from the 1980s spread its wings, you'd remember that. You won't remember the breed of every dog people were walking, but if you saw someone walking a Great Dane, you'd remember that. If you look into a pond, you won't remember what every fish looked like, but if you saw a red herring you'd remember that...not that I'm implying anything. ;)

Wants to take me to court and all that. That is the thanks you get for being a decent human being, and not being vengeful, to someone who has no apparent conscience. He said “No” to makeup. That encompasses all of the above 🙄 The way he said it like “I just don’t care. Please leave me alone” made me feel for him though. I can imagine how annoying this has been for him. It’s been seven years. Who remembers details that tiny when dealing with a lot of other people on a daily basis? So she is trying to covince the judge and jury maybe the witness doesn't realise the swollen and at the same time try make the witness doubt his own testimony. For the people wondering why this testimony helps Johnny: People don't remember "business as usual". They remember when something out of the ordinary occurs because you'll actually think about it a while if not for a moment. If Amber's face was screwed up (esp in the way she says), he would most likely remember that. It would be out of the norm.

Seeing Johnny laughing so much during a trial like that shows to me how relieve and free he is now. After myself getting out of a depression last year you just want to enjoy life after a hard time. He could still be miserable if he wanted to but he decided to take it positively. Kudos to him for that! I hope he wins!
