Did you see her cross examination. Johnny also seems to have good time. I don't know both, if its more nervosity or really joy. I think it's both. Who ever lies is as nervous as the other. By the way: I have the impression both lies at different situation or sometimes at the same.
It seems to be a very toxid relationship. At the end it's the question, if he hit her or not. I don't know. Remember, the guys in his films (I love his films) they are roles he played. He is not one of them.

You are right, we do not know if he hit her. We only know she hit him and she manipulated evidence /is lying about it.
And yes, we should be aware Johnny Depp is not Willy Wonka or Captain Jack Sparrow and we should not mix that up.
*But* we don't only "know" him from his films but also from interviews etc.. And that's Johnny, and he always was kind and empathic.

I really don’t know how I’ve become so invested in this case. It’s like watching a slow-moving train wreck over weeks. I’ve known who Johnny is for decades and saw some of his movies but I was always indifferent to him. (Amber I now know because of her allegations). At this point if Johnny wins, I’ll cry. And if he loses, I’ll cry. One will be tears of joy. The other of despair.
No matter what, this whole ordeal is just so very sad to me. The lies, the cruelty displayed to the world…it’s just awful.😢

I've spent so much time in trial and Mr Rottenborn is one of those attorneys that the jury hates.... disrespectful, irrational and only wants a yes or no to a complex questions....because he is grasping at straws. An attorney with a real case doesn't need to act so ignorant and unprofessional.
But what did he want to express with this? Sorry, I am German and therefore have sometimes difficulties in understanding undertones and humour.

This man is a gentle kind person even against those who are nasty to him! I remember how he tried to appease Amber despite what she did to him!

I think I fell in love with Johnny during this trail as many other people. he has shown he is a beautiful human being.
The jury in this case was unbelievably focused on the evidence; they were astute, intelligent and goal oriented and knew which way they would vote. They adjourned at about 3 pm on Thursday, May 27th and returned their verdict on Tuesday, June 1st. They deliberated for a total of 13 hours with a 3 day long weekend in between and only one query of the judge regarding how to treat the headline of the defamation article. BOOM! DONE! Amazing! Congratulations Johnny Depp!

Most people can see plainly that she edited her pictures but the lawyers take time to make their case irrefutable anyway.

Does it ever come up during the trial that those text messages that Johnny didn't write show to be INCOMING instead of outgoing from his phone? So obviously he didn't write them which doesn't surprise me. BornRotten is one joke of an attorney.
If someone had access to all of our text messages and went through them, they could find plenty of questionable statements out of context.

It is an extraction of Johnny's text messages. And the other messages he admitted he sent are marked as outgoing while the other markers on the left are exactly the same(him/owner at the top, the other person's name below that).
It just goes to show how well he handles hostile people. He not a fast talker, he’s not ignorant, so if someone is hostile and constantly coming for him he isn’t able to keep up with their ignorant behavior, which is why is he was always trying to retreat when Amber came for him in these incidents. It’s not in his nature to behave like them. It just showed his true character.

Well, Ambers lawyers can all kiss their careers goodbye after this horrible attempt to cross examine Johnny. It shows a lot of strength to remain calm and respectful while being humiliated in front of the entire world, and being made out to be a person you are not. Johnny displays immense patience through our this entire cross. Ambers lawyers actions are disrespectful to not only Johnny, but the judge as well, and display nothing but WEAKNESS.
I know this is really late lol, but I still come back to this trial lollll... it also shows their characters really well. Amber gets annoyed really easily in her cross-examination and has tons of "um's" and "IDK'S". If you're not lying, none of that would be needed.

All I'm gonna say at this point is, as an actual survivor, Heard using the victim card for her benefit is beyond reprehensible. Her self-righteous attitude is a slap to actual survivors who have nearly zero resources for assistance.

A good cross examination is usually just yes & no questions. The goal is to trip up the witness & get him to agree with statements made by the defense lawyer. Rottenborn did a good job on cross. Depp did not.
@@leeosmond9217 Well during a cross exam they purposely ask leading questions to create a narrative and prevent the witness from extrapolating and answering their way. Asking what you had for breakfast is an open ended question more for direct exam. It’s more similar to saying “You had bacon and eggs for breakfast, right?” And then not being able to explain “well it was turkey bacon and scrambled eggs” and I actually ate it for brunch.
Amber is despicable. I cant stand looking at her smug and arrogant facial expressions. The day the verdict was read... GOLDEN!

Ambers whole demeanor has completely changed in the last few days. She’s acting like none of this is bothering her with her smirks and laughing, not paying attention while she writes her book. She has definitely made herself look less like a victim and more of a liar. She really thinks she has this case in the palm of her hands or she’s just acting like she doesn’t care anymore since she knows she’s losing. She will have nothing after this, win or lose.

I feel for Johnny, you can literally see the expressions of pain on his face when he is forced to talk about things he is trying to forget, it is followed by him stuttering. Sadly enough I have been in a situation where I had to undergo constant stress, bullying, controlling behavior and agression myself. I know what it does to you. It makes you blank out, it makes you want to forget about the denigrating behavior you had to deal with.
And of course he is angry, not out of hate or the intention to hurt Amber, but because of the injustice he had to deal with for so many years.

He has every right to be upset in this manner if she in fact has been lying and painting the wrong picture. Again, he is only human. So if Johnny is truly more of the victim here, these texts are pretty unimportant and don't prove much. It would be him venting in a sense, rather than resorting to other alternatives. Although, we will only know the court ruling. JD and AH are the only ones who will ever know the full truth 🤷♂️

As for 47:08, I think something that most people have overseen regarding the "Molly" evidence is the fact that this is:
#1 A group chat of at least 4 participants.
#2 It's an INCOMING message, INCOMING NOT OUTGOING.
