This trial has really shown the difference between actual expert witnesses and people who think they are expert witnesses.
Edit :) my opinion has become that they reflect poorly on the lawyers, who lets face it are not good. Presumably these are experts they chose, specifically because of their unethical and unprofessional 'flexible' approach to the truth.

If the client doesn’t tell the truth, then legally they can spin any story that will help the client win. Heck some people tell all to their lawyer. There job isn’t to tell on the person they are defending, it’s to create their clients defense to win. Unless they have concrete evidence a lawyer can spin a story to make their client look like a saint. Nearly all guilty people go in to court with a made up story. This is one of the reasons lawyers advise the guilty not to testify, because if they find you guilty they can then charge you with perjury. Not to mention it’s not easy to remember exactly details of a fraudulent story and a good lawyer will dig in to small details just to prove the story isn’t true.

The expert was 100% correct in that the lawyer was NOT asking as yes or no question. It was malformed, for starters, and secondly, because there is no way to verify which, if any, photo is undoctored, you cannot verify the authenticity of any of them. I think the judge was awesome but it doesn't mean infallible.
There were so many cases of various witnesses trying to get in extra information or their own narrative, maybe this seemed like yet another.
But I still think it is wrong to try to force someone under oath to choose an inaccurate answer.

Not perjury but enough to make the jury think he lied or wasn't a good expert .

I will say she has a good chance for going to prison.
I don't know for certain because I wasn't there in the first place when all the abuse, defamation and her making the fake evidence but I'm pretty confident that she did all of this because of all the evidence and her defense not being that great in this trial.

Brian Neumeister is the CEO of USA Forensics and has 80 distinctions and awards for videography and more than a dozen Emmys for editing, sound, and other categories. He has 42 years of expertise in the digital sector and has shot videos from helicopters for 14,700 hours. Depp’s team got the single most experienced certified forensic expert in the World to testify that Heard’s team sent him screen grabs and not pictures that came from the camera on her iPhone. She didn’t want an expert to be able to prove just how many edited photos she had on her phone. ( BTW the screen grab pics came from the phone that Depp supposedly threw off their balcony and destroyed and she said in her deposition that her photos weren’t available as she’d run out of space on her cloud. Yet she was able to provide old screen grabs to Neumeister.) She underestimated this expert. He is incredibly skilled at what he does. 😊

She lashes out in a really hyper sensationalist manner when she's hurt, mad & upset in general.
While I'm not arguing her intentions were good, I think this was a result of her her ever increasingly dramatic tendency to try and out-lash Johnny & she went way too far.
It probably felt really good at the time, obviously, hence her incessant attempts to stage and direct the drama but there came a point long before this when she knew she'd crossed a line and it's been about damage control & self preservation ever since. This actually disgust me as a DV victim myself, Amber has made a mockery I feel like she's poking fun of us real survivors I couldn't look at my perpetrator or even if someone talked about this person without being terrified I would look down on the ground even when anyone else would talk to me for the longest time i was a shadow of myself, afraid of everything& everyone still to this day I have severe PTSD I have severe emotional issues and I have severe panic attacks I was not only abused by 1 person but 2& 1 was my mother from childhood till she passed i was 29 💔 so I thought it was normal because I grew up with it it's more common for us to find a significant other who was similar and that was my poor judgement I'm not saying that every DV victim is the same,
But come on I'm sure there's a lot of actual victims even here watching this and they are infuriated no one should blame another person that they are actually a perpetrator when they were the victim, I know my opinion doesn't matter but she did this just to tarnish his name& ultimately too destroy his very successful career just because he wanted out of the marriage because of the abuse and to get his money just my opinion, she's not afraid in the least she's actually showing hostilityand in some cases actually comes off mad when confronted and shown to have lied,
I sort of knew that Johnny was going to win the case but I am very happy that he did and it's not for any other reason but to show people that men can actually be DV victims as well and that it's definitely okay to speak out and can get Justice, its not ok no matter your gender, religion,or,race,or sexual preference .abuse is abuse ,remember whoever maybe reading this rather long post you are worth it get away don't let anyone verbally emotionally psychologically or physically harm you please get out no matter the situation, and as much as they tell you they're going to change and get better it doesn't no matter how much you tried there's something in them that's not wired correctly& there's always help out there to assist you,in leaving & getting you back on your feet,& remember you can't fix them as much as you want too, they are toxic, please get out, it doesn't matter if you feel you don't have the money or any place to go everything will work out with the right help!! too other victims which I consider my sisters or brothers it took me a long time to believe that I was strong enough and that I was worth getting my life back I'm telling you right now you are worth it you are loved and you are valued and you don't deserve any of this that's happening to you there's so many victims that are not here right now because they didn't leave and they felt they can stay and fix the person or they were just too scared we don't need another statistic, your stronger then you think your loved& your valid,i know because i was you your me & we are a family 👪 God bless us all,

As someone who is currently studying computer science I’ve really enjoyed hearing this guys testimony and was actually waiting for this to happen. It’s so frustrating to hear this lawyer try to manipulate his answers. CS is a very complex topic and any proper answer to a question requires a certain amount of extra explanation, especially if the person you are talking to has no background in the field. Also in regards to his questions regarding his degrees or lack of degrees, a large number of people working in the field of CS don’t actually have a formal degree but still have the same or at least comparable level of knowledge as someone who does

Lots of the OG’s help shape and write the textbooks for the courses people take nowadays. to
"you found no evidence .... correct ?" (30:06)
And the witness is sharp enough to notice that difference at the end, which allows him to confidently say "that is incorrect" rather than "yes"/"no" ...
The difference in implications between "correct/incorrect" VS "yes/no" are huge...
"Incorrect" means its incorrect to assume there is no evidence that someone edited the photos, because thats still a likely reason why the exif datas are different. Which is precisely what he is trying to tell the jury ...

But yeah it's still frustrating to see it happen especially since it's so blatant and obvious and it never get's checked or even called out. And I think it's so frustrating because in normal lives we're used to seeing bullshit behaviour usually be called out on the spot - you're chatting with people, somebody start obviously lying, people around them start disagreeing because they smell sushi - but I guess that's not how courts work. On the flip side I'm sure the judge is smart enough to see the bollocks Amber's team is peddling, so maybe in the end, letting them do their thing might be better for Johnny's case.

Legally speaking, the "scope" of a direct/cross/redirect exam concerns a specific claim or point of contention, aka the "purpose" of the exam. It isn't necessary for him to discuss details of the photo like the colors (though he certainly was going to explain why it's relevant if they hadn't objected), and just needed to keep to his analysis of the data.
I mean, that alone was enough to destroy their entire case, which was on shaky photoshopped grounds to begin with, lol.

The jury is going to completely disregard Amber’s attorneys examination of the photo witness. It’s totally obvious that he’s trying too desperately, and is clearly in a total panic. He thought he could frame a question in a way which would cause the expert to say “no, I didn’t find issues in the pics”, but they weren’t pics, they were screenshots - which were probably taken after they had finished altering them in photoshop. I truly believe they did that on purpose - in attempt to block the rabbit trail.

I did not enjoy it just for that fact, unlike many people in the audience of this trial because imho not letting her talk at all, was not that good of a move for JD team as if they were sooo scared of what she was gonna say. So, in conclusion, Amber and her lawyers are:
    1. using evidently and demonstrably forged evidence.
    2. taking evidence out of context to make it appear supportive of Amber's case.
    3. calling in paid expert witnesses who are misrepresenting correlation as causation.
    4. calling in paid expert witnesses whose work is evidently and demonstrably not meeting ethical and professional standards.
    5. deliberately attempting to misrepresent statements and shut down attempts at elaboration from witnesses during cross-examination because the truth doesn't benefit them.
    6. repeatedly asking leading questions and, following an objection, rewording their question with the witness now having been prompted with what answer they should give.
    7. trying to discredit witnesses who say something they don't like, not by pointing out the flaws in their arguments or methodology (because they generally can't find any), but by smearing their character. (Thanks GhostofPaulWalker for pointing that out).
    8. trying to frame all of the above as indisputable evidence in favor of Amber when all of it falls apart under the slightest scrutiny.
Meanwhile, Johnny's team is providing dozens of independent and unchallenged testimonies as well as demonstrably true evidence in support of his case.
With only 1 hour left, the only way I see Amber's team proving she was abused is if they've got a slew of video recordings of Johnny violently assaulting Amber on several occasions up their sleeve.

The testimony could've ended at 7:00. I'm a Graphic Design Major and I know exactly what he's talking about. Every editing program leaves an imprint or signature on the photo you select in it that overwrites the camera software's or OS software's digital signature existing once the picture was taken in real-time. LMAO this is literally the biggest slam dunk I've seen in this trial with respect to falsified information from AH's team. You can't deny this man's diagnosis because it's not even that complicated. And if AH testified that none of those pictures were edited, she's fucked.

But she had to say she hadn’t touched any of the photos at all, that they weren’t edited at all. They should have provided the originals to a forensics expert that would have been able to provide chain of custody and processing to explain how they edited the photo to bring out the evidence. The first witness concerning the pictures has no degree because he literally wrote the book and trains the DOJ, DOD, etc. The last witness was the TSA agent from the airport that arrested AH in the airport. That's how she remembered who she was. She was held overnight in jail and Tasya refused to press charges. So, at her arraignment, the judge let her go on the condition that if she was arrested again for the same charge, that incident would be enforced. AH claimed she was homophobic, but she was head of the LGBTQ rights division in her area at that time. She used her phone to testify. I've been binge watching the trial after the Cannes film festival and Jeff Beck tribute concert. Johnny looked so healthy, better than I've seen for a long time. ❤😊
