Totally and it's made so much worse for a large proportion of girls and young women whose bodies do not conform to the body types we mainly see modeling clothes or makeup or on the stage, so it's no wonder that the pear shaped woman often has a lot of distress as they develop - not that they are in any way less a person than the tall slender model body type, but sadly much of society will treat them as less than, some of them will internalise this and end up hating their physical bodies and all of this plays straight into the hands of the proponents of the trans industry who are undoubtedly a predatory bunch, their forefathers being Alfred "Table 34" Kinsey and John 'whoops I burned his d1ck off' Money - both of them were Nonces and yet here we are following their ideas decades later. NAMBLA lives!!!! Especially with these adult aged children we now have created courtesy of Lupron. It must of been a nonce who came up with that idea because it's a nonce control drug FFS!!

Slavic mentality is nostalgic to me. It's a very different world perspective and weight is put on other subjects than the West. It's not just the cultures, it's also the language which makes grand topics seem irreverent, whereas in English topics become very contentious quickly. It's hard to explain.

I'm being persecuted at work by the HR department because I refuse to go along with Critical Theory's LGBTQI+ acronym and Woke theory.
The grouping of all these different mostly unconnected states of being in one acronym stinks of Oppression politicking.
The graphs about attendance at gender clinics I've been digging up reveal how huge the spike in adolescent girls is.
Gert's early onset of puberty seems to be a feature of affluence that is very overlooked. Gert sounds like puberty ambushed her. That and the effect of technology enabling 'geeks' to avoid the big wide world as Haidt has discovered.

*** most of our customer service phone calls are based non-stateside, so when there is a bit of a lull or i'm feeling a bit talkie i do like to inquire about where they live, what things are like there, or just simply how things are in general with them. i like to know their name, i have them spell it so i can pronounce it properly, and i try and make a person-to-person connection because fate would have us crossing paths, albeit superficially, so i like to take the opportunity to be a pretty shiny part of their day, opposed to the grumbly, unhappy, complaining customer that usually is the type to need phone call assistance...
    * i started my period May of 5th grade -- learning a trad dance for Cinco de Mayo school assembly afterschool and whoa what the hell is this??! late bloomer (if at all) everywhere else, a sexually active friend in jr high achool kicked me down a month or two of her birth control to grow my boobs (!!!) - backfired cuz Ma flipped my mattress (every 6 months, you know!) and found those and Our Bodies Ourselves under there!!! i had my dad crying sitting on the floor of my bedroom thinking i was having sex already and i was like oh puh-leez Dad gimme a break! BOOBS!!!
anyhow -- didn't get over the boobs thing until i was in my early 30s when i finally ditched all padded buffers and taught myself how to stand up straight with a slight "fcuk it!' attitude...
so many of us have had a slightly "Carrie" kind of experience. most don't end in a bath of pig blood and a locked and burning gym full of our schoolmates, teachers, etc, but yeah -- puberty is a clustercuss all around! the only Rites of Passage we have left, for the majority of us... ❤️

All this trans stuff feels like a perfect storm. Social media, kids having more online "friendships" than real life ones, puberty being awkward and embarrassing, trying to fit in with your peers, just so much at once. It's a lot to take when you're young. Adults are not blameless. So many pushing this crap onto kids instead of letting them just learn and grow and be themselves. It's truly hideous.

@NinjaKitty in your opinion do you consider socially constructed gender to be coupled or decoupled (independently variable) from sexual orientation?

    • @NinjaKittyBonks
      @NinjaKittyBonks 2 года назад

@Uncompetative… Not sure I fully understand you question, but will give you my thoughts and let's see where that takes us 🐱
      1. Gender = A secondary way in which to describe ether a male or female person. There are exactly 2 genders and approx. .04% of humans are intersex. There are variations in chromosomes, but not versed well in them.
      2. Socially constructed = This has zero to do with whether a person is male or female, but rather how they present him / herself to the world. A tom-boy girl may prefer wearing blue-jeans, rather than a dress. A boy may allow his hair to grow very long and put in pony tail or something. This would also include mannerisms of any degree of variation between a more typical male or female person, as has been the "norm" since the dawn of human civilization.
      .
General thoughts: I could not care less how one wants to "present" themselves to the world, just don't ask me to partake in a lie. So, if a person wants to call themselves "non-binary"... I am not hearing it! If one says their preferred pronouns are "They / Them".... I will NOT use them. I see these as strictly acts of narcissism and a means to control others, so I will not partake in them for any reason or at any time.
      .
Not sure if that helps to answer your question, but gives you the ground in which I stand on these issues, so let me know what you think 🐈

at near 22:00 -- i have an Austrian friend near 60yo now who had a terrible bicycling accident when she was 14. she thought her diacomfort around boys was due to the social ripple effect of her healing time, which sounded pretty long and extensive -- facial tattoos, acceptance as-is in the punk community, kept things at bay until she was near 50. she told the story of how visiting a trans friend gave her the a-ha! moment and within a year maybe stayed with us en route to her FTM chest surgery. by this time he was already identifying male, had the T drug pulsing through, was stateside at this time, growing facial hair etc and seeming to enjoy the transition. since then, standing proud, shoulders back and confident. as far as i know is extremely happy in his skin 10+ yrs later. seems a typical yet a-typical example, i think...

however, the bike accident could very well have caused brain injury which set this path to task. i hadn't thought of that until now...
with this in mind, my friend seems to have been provided an idea rather than his own self-awareness, and if it had not been the a-ha! trans moment, what equivalent a-ha! to our lovely calmversant's would have come to his attention? if it had been more difficult to choose name change, hormones, and chest surgery, what other expressions of his general discomfort would have been made?
i figured that making this decision at the age of 50 was in a lot of ways commendable. i hope he is geninely happy, of course. the relationship he was in at the time of removing hs breasts was with a man who often said he was a lesbian in a man's body 😉...

The bike accident at age 14 with a long painful period of isolation at a critical stage of adolescent development would be a major trauma. Discomfort of puberty exacerbated by any disfigurement of an accident could cause an adolescent to hide emotional pain behind a masking image - punk, and images - tattoos.
