I hope the US can do something to extend them before June 30,2023, so they can continue to share, learn, and help! It is a culture exchange program, 5 years is not enough. Some of the teachers are just having opportunity to be able to share and help more their schools, but now they run out of time. Hope there will be more consideration, pls. extend them. Thank you!
Amen! As a half-Filipino American, my dream is to see more of my family members being able to live and enjoy this place I call home while making memories together, growing old together, and paving the way to a better future for the next generation in our family. 🤍🤍🤍
What kind of contract and visa J1 is?Government must fix this ,he should be migrate and become US citizen.despite of all that job he encountered most for autism
I'm a teacher myself but I find it weird that after 5 years he can't hold a conversation in english How was he accepted to teach in the first place? He should at least meet the language requirement, kids need to understand what he is saying That being said, it is nice to bring teachers from different cultures to usa but it would be nicer if you treat your own teachers better so theh would stick around and do their job with less stress and less worries - a teacher from Algeria
@@onin1980 lol triggered much? ;) And "for sure" too? What makes you that sure that he's better not that I put that comment to compare myself to him as I have no intention to teach in the USA :) Teaching is hard all over but to add a fear of getting shot at , I'd rather stay in my country around my family Also I speak 4 languages : Arabic, Kabyle, French and English He can't master even the basics of the language that he should be using to teach and pass fundamental knowledge to students so my criticism is valid
Maybe he missed speaking in his native tongue, and that's why he chose not to speak in English. The news channel is a Filipino channel, and the one who interviewed him was a Filipino. If he's not good in English, he couldn't have passed the interview and get a job offer.
Is this the manner in which the Algerian teacher comments on people? This may be the explanation for the US's preference to recruit Filipino teachers over those from other nations, as teaching requires a certain attitude and character. Not to add that, according to data, the Philippines has a better literacy rate than the nation of the exemptional teacher who speaks four languages like you-Algeria.
I am sure alam nila ang mga nakastipulate sa J1 visa before sila nagapply. LOL If nasa 20s lang ako magaapply din ako just for experience. I am sure they learned a lot and this will be added to their credentials.
I came here in 2002 on an H1 visa . The school district sponsored me and my family and now we’re US citizens. Thank you🇺🇸!
how ma'am? I'm interested po😊
Sana makapagabroad din ako
I'm a public school teacher for 9 yrs here in the Philippines. I want to work in the US too. Do you have any idea how to apply there? Thanks.
@@romaniiimorata5717 please research J1 visa

This is awesome! We do need more Filipinos here in the US, especially the teachers.
Why ? So you can underpay them and overwork them?
@@mudPuddlePandamas ok na yan. Kaysa dito sa pinas na underpaid rin yung mga teachers.
