Initial launch price of the Galion instant noodles, $8.88. 😂
The uncooked dry noodles also double up as acoustic treatment, portable too 👍🤝
@samlee2562 Your audiophile experience will reach next level after eating these 🍜:)
Love it.
Thank you for this Jay and kudos to Jo for taking great pictures!
Glad to see that Audiovector is raising awareness as it's been under the radar for a quite long time, especially in Canada and US.And thanks for reminding me that only a lottery winning is a path to upgrade my SR3's to an R8...both Audi and Audiovector😁
Love the Wolf von Langa Son loudspeakers. They are our reference speakers in the JAVA Hi-Fi demo room - a beautiful match with our amplifiers. Thanks for the coverage, Jay!
The Galion products are so cool and intriguing.
I’m also saving for either the Børresen X3 or X6. My listening preferences are in line with yours. Great coverage and observations. Thanks
Yes, please review Audiovector
❤❤❤😊
Monitor Audio ❤
Listened to the audiovector r8 artete at a demo at my hifi dealer and yeah wow incredible speakers love that tweeter 😁
I was there. Yes the Kii speakers were very impressive.
Thanks Jay, beautiful stuff.
MAGICO 👍💯👍
Looking forward to the Audiovector review. Happy owner of QR7
Glad to hear your interest in Audiovector. I've been hoping for a comparison with their R3 vs Borresens X3.
Gm ☕️💊
Great video , thank you.
I too have recently purchased a pair of Audiovector QR7s. I know it's all about connecting gear and room acoustics, etc., but they were an upgrade for me in sound from my B&W 804 D3s. The QR7s are discontinued and are selling in many places at a discounted price - they are the steal of the year and people should audition them while they can.
love the look of the Totems. Semi-throwback to the B+O Pentas.
Bough a pair of Audiovectror QR 5 SE a couple months ago, and have loved them. Really look forward to hearing your thoughts even if you get an r series for review.
I hope to see you at Axpona!
Not impressed with Totem. I called twice to ask about a problem I had ending to replace the biwire jumpers on my Signature one speakers. No communication back. I dont need to spend good money on speakers to be ignored by the manufacturer when there is a minor problem. My last Totem purchase. there are too many other good manufacturers out there.
Years ago I emailed them about something and they responded the next day.
@@Taffy84 Must be my personality.
@@fletchermunson6225 Try their email support, it's on their website under customer support.
I had a similar experience. No response to any email i sent or phone calls i made. Their speakers sound great but their customer service leaves alot to be desired.
Ive heard this. A pretty inconsistent Cuatomer service response. Im not sure if they are a really small company with limited employees since they don’t present that way. I have gone to Boutique Manufacturers where I talk to the actual designer as communication is always pretty great.
Love my Audiovector QR 7s! Great value too if you are like me and need to win the lottery if you want the R8s.
@jayiyagi Another great coverage! Which gear would you say has perfect synergy with the Borresen's in your experience? Which would you pair them with in your own setup?
Nice camera set-up...
I have heard the Wolf Van Langa's at Capitol Audiofest. The room right across had Nola Champ S3's. Tbh the Nola's sounded like a more complete package of imaging soundstage etc. Just my 2 cents.
Review the moon gear on the audiovector room!!! 😁
The Boressen X series is awesome. So awesome that imo it almost totally cannibalizes their more expensive line. I’m not such a fan of Audio Group Denmark’s electronics though. They sound fine. BUT…they just feel overpriced. When things like the Eversolo A8 or even Holo Audio products sound so, so good for a fraction of that cost. I really think the days of Uber expensive electronics are numbered outside of the halo offerings for the rich. They just don’t make sense much anymore. Heck, I just got the Fosi ZA3 in for review, and I got to say for $150 it’s something else.
As for Totem: The Tribe V is a great speaker in any category, but to do what it does for being an on wall is just amazing.
Eversolo A8 is a dac streamer so I'd have to assume you're comparing it to the D-580 which there is zero comparison if you've even heard it. It's sold out everywhere for a reason. The amazing thing is you can jump into their all in one integrated for far less and incorporates trickle down tech. I'm an r2r dac fan but the AGD stuff is remarkable.
I feel the same way. Really like the speakers but not a fan of their newer all in one Forte electronics
@@c34webbI’m guessing his talking about the all in one Forte series since they’re usually matched w the x series speakers but I could be wrong
Any show ls in India ...we are waiting
What did think of the Michi Monoblocks? They looked really cool.
Thought they were cool and sounded good
PerListen speakers are brutally transparent and because they don’t have the typical mid treble bump in their voicing that you often see on a lot of hi-fi speakers given that near total neutrality is their thing, you need to pair them with gear that does not crush treble. I owned a S-Series 5.2 system for over a year that was also used for two channel so I know. Do that and they will reward you with some of the most true to life performance you can even hear. I also know for a fact they’ve been getting a bit screwed with bad rooms at shows, and they since taken measures to better mitigate that such as in house made portable acoustic treatments they are bringing to shows now. Finally, Jay you’ve got to hear the S7T Limited Edition, the few tweaks and improvements made addressed the only few minor gripes I had such as mid treble potentially being a touch weak, no more. Nigh perfect detail now, same great bass authority but with more depth.
If you liked the Börresen check out affordable Scansonic m6b.
@ Montréal 🇨🇦...❤️
Jay you stated the Gallion amp was made in Canada. Is that correct?
Yup, 10 mins from my house.
@@ThomasAndStereo Thanks for confirming Thomas.. very cool!

Wait, I thought you said elsewhere the Bryston was top 5 🤔
How diplomatic you described how the Kii Three wasn't for you 😅. Agree, heard it and found it was much too dry and soulless for my taste as well.
They integrate into rooms. Million dollar speakers in a bad room will sound bad
Have kii tree bxt and they are fantastic
I have the Kii 3s as well (without the BXTs) and absolutely love them. Their performance and value for the price paid are unmatched in my opinion given that it includes all driver specific and matched amplifiers, DACs, and a preamplifier. They are also tunable to your room. All you need is to bring your sources.
I’ve been going to audio shows (Florida Audio Expo was the last one I attended in February) for years and every time I think I want to replace my Kii 3s, when I come home and listen to them, I change my mind and won’t get rid of them.
That’s not to say there aren’t better sounding systems, but you would have to spend significantly more to better the Kii 3s performance in my opinion. They’re a high end audio bargain for what they are.
You should review the Kii 3s Jay (without the BXTs) and see for yourself.
@@jansels3384 Glad you found gear you enjoy.
The longer I’ve been in the hobby the more I appreciate straight accuracy. I don’t really care about whether or not something is warm, or bright, blah, blah, blah. It just want to hear the truth.
I think i have the same taste in Sound , i wasnt impressed by magico and kiii too.
I will really appreciate if someone else give me a real opinion about SVS technology they came with something new in 2024..What about it....thanks all of you
Speakers sound good if you buy 10 thousand dollars worth of equipment if you're lucky 😅😅😅
Ten thousand dollars is just for a short pair of cables ! Try at least $100,000.00 on the pre and power amps. I will always have to dream as I also have to keep purchasing lottery tickets.
@@walterpen371
. And expensive cables are 1/2 the reason why silly monkey-see monkey-do audiophiles pile all their gear on the ground (or one inch off of it) right between the loudspeakers.
If one believes in low frequency (bigger vibrations) room gain off the front wall, especially with rear-firing ports, than surely one would have to agree locating micro-phonic sensitive equipment such as Tubes & Turntables in that very spot is detrimental to the performance.
Makes sense doesn't it? Wanna' know the other 1/2 of the reason?
