Disrespectful 19-Year-Old Girl Cries Hysterically After She’s Arrested For DUI

- Опубликовано: 5 янв 2024
- Bodycam footage shows a Pullman police officer pulling over a vehicle after he noticed that the 19-year-old girl behind the wheel was driving recklessly. When he made contact with the driver, he immediately observed signs that she could’ve been driving under the influence when he noticed the smell of alcohol coming from her. The driver, Mairead Quigley, refused to perform any sobriety tests which resulted in her being arrested for DUI based on the police officer’s observations. When the two reached the police station, she was breathalyzed and blew a BAC of 0.179.

Not fair. This girl isn't that bad. She's having a hard time, she's 19, and she's drunk. Props to the cop though for staying so professional through it all.
weirdo
Millions of 19 year olds are having hard times and not drinking and driving. She is an adult and made the poor decision to put the lives of regular innocent people in danger and therefore has to deal with the consequences. I for one don’t feel bad for her at all.
@@0o0ox How did you find out?
Literally one of the most patience and soft spoken officers I’ve seen props to this man. I personally don’t have the patience for these kinds of situations.
Her boyfriend's waiting up all night for her, her mom gives her breathalyzer tests. This is a really sad case of a young alcoholic with a lot of stacked issues surrounding by people trying to help her. It's a shame.
I've got 1 DWI and 48 DIP charges. My family thought it was best to take the car away and just have me walk everywhere for years. It makes sense now. Because DIP charges....you just spend 8 hours in the drunk tank sleeping on the ground with all the other drunk people. You get it and half to walk 20 miles home and pay a $120 fine each time....
I finally got sober in 2019-2021. Was coming up on 2 years clean and ready to pick up my 2 year AA chip until my father passed. Now I'm back on the bottle watching these videos, ashamed of myself. Alcohol and Drug addiction is a real disease. I wake up with tremors if I don't drink sometimes. It's such a mental, spiritual, and emotional fight.

Anyone who would answer their phone during a traffic stop & ignore the cop clearly isn’t taking the situation seriously.
I love when an officer approaches a vehicle and asks how much the driver has drank and the driver just says: "jdsfnj sdfmio; weqwer8923 fsadjnsda sfd"
😂😂😂😂
This poor girl, my heart hurts for her, to some she looks entitled, but under that attitude is a confused, scared and lost girl.❤️

I honestly don't know how cops keep their cool dealing with people like this on a daily basis.
This officer is fantastic. He was polite and patient from the beginning and after the boyfriend explained about whatever big thing she was dealing with in life I feel he was even more considerate. He acted like a concerned and firm dad which is exactly what she needed.
Guessing she is a "cutter/depressed" first thing I said after the cop asked bout the blood. Hope she gets the help she needs

I am actually impressed by this man, how perfectly he is doing his job.
I’m shocked at how young people (drunk or not) are so disrespectful of authority!
I would have never talked back to an officer like she did.
It’s because boomers, gen X & millennials have 0 brains, so their kids have 0 accountability lol. Common sense.

Why not?
The police officer has such a nice voice. I'd be terrified to be stopped by a male officer in the middle of the night but he seems really polite.
What an extremely kind and courteous policeman.
This woman needs to grow up! She acted more childish than my 15 year old. So entitled and rude. Bet her parents are beyond disappointed and ashamed.

Exactly. I've been run over a car by a drunk driver which almost killed me. She's lucky she was in there before she killed or severely injured someone.
i love how gentle this cop is starting out
Huge props to the officer for being so calm and the boyfriend for being super respectful and asking the officer to keep her mental health issues in mind!
I have a 20y and 18y old kids. I told them before they left for college, I have zero tolerance for drinking/drug use while driving. If they get caught not only do they deal with legal issues but they will get privileges removed by me, such as having a car at college. I put the fear in them.
So how are monitoring this?
That's good to tell them that, but whether they listen has more to with how much they respect you. Putting fear in young people often makes them do the exact thing you advised against. Not shaming you for your method just providing insight.

I am a recently retired trauma physician. What is happening here is a far better place to deal with drunk driving than the trauma bay of my hospital emergency department after the damage has been done. I applaud officers such as this officer who is polite, professional, and dedicated to driving me out of the dui injury business. Kudos!
So true. We see some gruesome stuff. We hear a lot about the people that pass away in an accident and how their body was mangled or something like that. But it’s when people hear about someone surviving a brutal car crash, the mind goes to “thank GOD they’re alive!” which is true but people don’t think about what it’s like to be in an accident and how their body is mangled but they’re *still alive.* It’s horrible. I can’t even imagine what it would feel like to be in some of these car accidents and how many could have been avoided if people just got an Uber. Or got a DD. Or just stayed home. But instead, they disabled themself for the rest of their life and killed the mother and her child in the car in front of them that WERE safely driving. People, please don’t drink and drive. It’s not pretty.
Not to trying to be rude, if I am somehow, but I will not ever be able to imagine how some people don’t go mental if they work in the emergency response services or even the military, which is why I respect people who work in those fields.
@@BestCountryEvrsome people have different grit and ability to push back against tough situations. Some things affect some people, others don’t.
@@BestCountryEvrworking in certain places is like having an allergy. In some cases, the repetitive contact with the cause of allergy or distress, causes the allergy/trauma and you need to leave or stop the contact.
