I'm always surprised at how much engineering and technology went into building these old metal toys. You don't see that anymore. Now everything is plastic injection molded.
I love videos of remaking metal things (Cars, Farm Tools, Household Tools, etc) And over the year I've gotten so good, now I can tell by "looking' when the item is 'Pitted.' I've learned and grew.
@@CenReaper. Pitted metal is what happens when it's corroded all the way through, and not just on the surface. It creates pits and holes in the metal.
Wie immer ein interessantes Video und eine sehr schöne Restauration von dem Auto. Das man Clips mit eonem Brenner lösen kann war mir neu, guter Tip werde ich mir merken. Schönen 4 Advent.
Glad you kept the colors the same. That yellow is pretty striking. I've seen a lot of these restorations where they change the colors and it doesn't look right.
It is amazing how much work is involved in restoring these collectables but you do a fantastic job of it and you make them all look brand new. Thanks for sharing this.
Beautiful paint & detail work, very well done! Your knowledge of repairing the small toy motors always impresses! I look forward to each new video, thank you for the entertainment!
@@TheFabrik Il faut effectivement essayer de sauver ces magnifiques jouets et dans ce domaine, vous êtes vraiment doué. Je suis toujours admiratif du travail que vous effectuez.🙂
Beautifully done & finished very nicely! Your ability to rebuild the old spring motors continues to impress with each video! Thank you for the entertainment!
I love watching your show I love the way the truck pulls the patient over to period to be fixed it makes me laugh by the way I think you need a wide mouth funnel so it's easier to put paint into your sprayer 😆 lol
I love seeing another person make their own decals, too many people overlook how much artistry goes into making these things look new again. Great job on that nickel plating too, I was worried it would be too pitted to shine up smooth. I think this one might be a MarX though, and not a Wyandotte.
The design of the truck is fantastic. And you beautifully saved it, as usual. It's amazing they've managed to make the spring motor only using bent metal sheets. Looks cheap compared to some french or german toys you've restored before ;)
your technique has become even better master, shooting has become more and much more I am very happy for you, you are magnificent, I'm sorry if something is written like that, I write through a translator💯👍🧸
The idea of heating the tabs to bend them is ingenious. I'm sure many restorationists have broken tabs by bending them 'cold'.
My favourite part was the spring drive mechanism. I was surprised that it was able to be restored with all of the original parts. Amazing work!
I really appreciate you keeping the original colors and preserving these historical objects. You have a talent for the craft, good work
🙏 Thank you very much 🙌 Glad you enjoyed
It is great seeing the restoration of a vintage toy truck.
This has to be the best camera work/editing for a toy restoration I've seen. Good stuff
Thanks a lot ! 😊

Ok boomer
But affordable

What does,,pitted" mean?
@@CenReaper. Pitted metal is what happens when it's corroded all the way through, and not just on the surface. It creates pits and holes in the metal.
Magnificent job of restoration. This toy was much better made and heavier than most present day automobiles. ❤
Thank you very much 🙏 the metal is very thick, very reliable toys. Not like the French ones 🤷♂️😅
you did a great job restoring the dump truck.
Many thanks
This is the best restoration channel on RUclips.

Nice! They sure don't make toys like that anymore. Such quality. Heavy gage metal. Toys today are junk. Great job 👍
BEAUTIFUL JOB !!!
To think that was probably some little boys best toy between 80 - 90 years ago. Whoever it was he don't damage it
Excellent restoration! 👍
Thanks a lot 👍
This is one of the most satisfying restoration video. And also no annoying cats.
