Ma Sha Allah, I tried this recipe and it turned out amazing. This is the first time I’ve ever cooked something and being a 19 year old brown guy, my family was really shocked at how good it turned out. Jazakallah and keep up the good work for the future, Allah reward you and your family.

@@MyLittleKitchenRecipes I made your chicken chickpea curry today and it was my 1st dish cooking chicken. I was absolutely blown away by the flavours thanks you so much for making it so easy :)))
Elizabeth, it had a nice little kick to it but if you wanted to add more then I would just add finely sliced long green chillies, birds eye chillies or even one scotch bonnet! Which I have used and adds wonderful bareable heat! I used bullet chillies more so for garnish purposes! Hope that helps 😊👍
Salaam Shamza i made this today, it was really tasty..i only used half tin tomatoes though, a bit less chilli powder and also added a couple of tbsp yoghurt, everything else pretty much the same. Jazakallah khair for your lovely recipes and you help people improve their cooking skills. May you and your family stay blessed x

I could literally feel that in my already watering mouth 😋 Fantastic recipe and this alone got me to subscribe the channel. Should have given the recipe link to that equally sumptuous lachha paratha May be…👍👍
Hi there, thanks for your comment. The reason why garam masala is added right at the end of the cook is because all those blended spices give a nice aromatic flavour to the dish and it remains quite pungent. If its added at the beginning or even midway then it loses it flavour. Hope that helps 😊
Hi Justin, thank you for your comment! I'm afraid not! Fenugreek seeds would not add the same flavour as the leaves! You can purchase dried fenugreek in any Asian food store. Hope that helps!
Honestly speaking Royal Nag, I prefer homemade! Nothing wrong with the BIR Style ones but I feel that an essential part of the cook is skipped in restaurants when they're cooking for huge numbers and are limited for time. Any good dish needs time to cook and its flavours to develop... having said that I absolutely love a recent dish I tried at one of my locals 'Saag Paneer' which I'm trying to replicate at home for the channel but failing miserably 😫😆 I may need to visit a restaurant kitchen soon to maybe get my hands on this one!! 🤣🤣
Hello ! I was browsing your other videos whilst listening to your recent Q&A - had to do this as it looked lovely - it was! I added some spinach too excellent. Only 2 chicken breasts bulked out to serve 4-5 easily - thanks 🙏
Bad news Shamza! You.. have got to tell Al (from Al's Kitchen)... he's lost a subscriber (he's how I arrived on your channel) - and I now only come to your channel instead of his 😉 Your style of cooking is brill and simple....lovely, fantastic-tasting curries, but using things like frozen 100% G&G blocks (which are NO different taste-wise in the finished curry...) really help make things so much easier. I've done a few of yours lately, and both wifey and son have commented, on how nice & tasty that particular night's curry was. They didn't know it was cooked 'traditionally'....rather than my old base gravy way. If there's no rush....why not cook them your methods?

Hi StephenPM1, thank you for your comment. I use the East End Deggi Mirch which is also in brackets Kashmiri Chilli Powder. Hi there, thanks for your comment. Sure! You need to think about whether this is the only curry on the menu or will there be other dishes. If this is the only dish then you need to take into account that people will be coming back for seconds maybe even thirds, so you need to ensure you have enough. My recipe will approx. feed (depending on portion size) 4/6 people. So if this is the only curry I'd say you multiply the recipe by 10 or 11 just so you have a little more left over rather than run out. Hope that helps!
