I haven't even yet seen the full video but not merely liking instead loving the look of it..... on a cold Friday eve, it looks yum and it's deffo on my list to do ..... 🎉 thanks
I tried your 'Keema Aloo' a couple of months ago and it was brilliant. I made another two batches for the freezer, and also gave some to friends who loved it! Guess what? I took all the credit, didn't tell them where the recipe came from. 😜Looking forward to trying this curry tomorrow eve. But, I'll have to put potatoes in mine! Thanks!
this is cooking right now ! have had one of your recipes every Saturday for the last 2 months. Thank you for sharing. No probs with your accent either. Greetings from Brum
Love this, so jealous of your gas stove, when I lived in the UK always had gas, here in Canada 2 electric stoves, I hate both of them. Bought a butane gas burner and a double induction stove top. It’s like learning to cook again.
Enjoyed that video and the result. Two things to mention though: 1. Who on earth can’t understand you? 2. Why on earth can’t restaurants have their “staff curry” as a special, customers would definitely buy it? Bizarre. Keep up the good work! ♥️
Salam you know the bowls you have the white ones where can I get them from I wanna follow this style of putting things in there then doing it that way. The white bowl with the powder cumin etc.
It was really tasty! Packed a punch of what i like to call tasty heat! I had a 1kg pack of chicken thighs to hand so just used those. Leftovers too so lunch tommorow sorted 😋 will definatley do it again with a whole chicken next time!
Twice in in different Indian restaurants I asked for a deep curry flavour, not too spicy and received two very similar curries, one of which was chicken the other mutton. The sauce of both was spectacular. Do you know how to make this sauce and can you share the recipe
The majority of Indian restaurants use a base gravy (to save time) If you search BIR base gravy recipes, you'll find recipes which can be made at home.
When you use chilli power in this recipe, what kind do you mean. I use kashmiri chilli power, but I don't know what you mean when you say chilli power. Thx looks yummy. I'm in the us, so chilli power is not what i want in this dish
I’m in the US also, and if I’m correct, I think you mean you don’t want to use chili seasoning (like for chili con carne or Texas chili), which is true, that probably wouldn’t taste so good in curry. I think any generic or specific (like ancho, guajillo…)chili powder will work. I’m partial to ancho chili, so I use that a lot. If you have an Indian market nearby you can check there for different types of chili powders, too. And I don’t see why you couldn’t just use all Kashmiri chili, if that’s what you have.
Kashmiri chilli is very mild and is mostly used to add that redish color. With that, you also need to add the hot chilli powder, and if you are brave enough, add a couple of whole green chillies, which adds more heat, but different heat from the reds. I'm not Pakistani, just a southern European, and I love these curries, as well as Malaysian curries. Greetings from Malta.
British Indian restaurants are very good at catering to British tastes but in general they do quite good Pakistani or Kashmiri style food. This is a good example IMHO.

Could you show me how much is the heat when you saute onions and meat
Hey Shamza, i thin there s no list of the ingredients in the description. it stops at onions. ... thank you so much for your delicious recipes !!!
Check again, they are there, you need to go into the description box.
I'd probably brown the onions a little bit longer
