I was wondering if you get anything out of this, but I guess not. I guess you could make a custom bumper sticker or just make a sign and put it on top of your car. So if someone looks at your car it could have a sticker or sign that says Flarecorp Media on it.
I took 360 video on my Fusion as I walked a local nature trail. Google Street View has processed the video and I can now walk the trail on Street View. So cool! Thanks for walking us through this process. How do I remove myself from the pictures on Street View? I assume I should have edited myself out before uploading the photos but I wasn't sure how. Any tips?
Yeah, you have to do it before uploading. If you are on the bottom of the screen, you can use a Nadir logo, but I'm not sure how easy that would be off the top of my head using this process

That's a nice video. Clears the doubt that Gopro can make good Street view. However can you clarify whether this street view can be done on any freely available GIS Software like QGIS instead of Google street view?
I haven’t tried it with anything other than google street view using the method shown in this video so unfortunately I can’t give advice about other options.
Why doesn't TrailBlazer just let you choose a separate GPX file? That would let you use pretty much any GPS, or even extract GPS from the raw GoPro files

I used an insta360 one x monopod, a GoPro suction cup and an adapter to connect the 2. It wobbled quite a bit, but it's what I had lying around. Maybe there's something from Manfrotto with cable ties that might be more stable?

I did try it on a GoPro Max. I recorded a 1:30 video and had to break it up into about 20 second chunks in order for TrailBlazer to recognize the files. Max files do not work with Fusion Studio. They have 2 products (one for macOS and one for Windows) that you have to use instead. GoPro is supposed to be working on a tool that can work for both platforms. Anyway, I wouldn’t get a GoPro Max for mapping yet because breaking up all of your files into small chunks is a pain.

Probably not. I've noticed in some more experimenting that sometimes the compass can be off and then Google thinks North is South, etc. Is it on all of your tours or just a few specific ones?
Sorry, I thought I replied to this earlier. I used a GoPro suction cup. A GoPro mount to 1/4 Screw adapter (male). Then I screwed on an Insta360 Pole. Then on the top I used a tripod (1/4) female adapter to GoPro mount. Then the camera.
For anyone having a look at this. I think really great work on reporting on GoPro Fusion use to do Street View blue-line mapping. In case you really consider to get into this sort of thing, I would recommend you to buy a Labpano One EE camera. It is not only Street View ready, it does 8K, stitches in camera and uploads from the camera. I am just surprised to see how error prone and laborious the Fusion workflow is.

Yes, you can upload streets that Google has already driven on. This will update them with a newer version made by you. It is up to Google which version they display on maps, though. It may default to it's version, someone else's version or your version. You can see that section of the video at 19:29.

What's the "desktop app" your using? I've downloaded GoPro Max Exporter and I'm able to select "h.264" but I don't see an option for "Retain GPMF Data". Thanks for your help!
I used the GoPro Player for macOS. I know that the macOS Player and Windows Max Exporter for Windows are not the same (not sure why), but I haven't tried the Exporter on Windows yet

I can upload videos, but I'm still having the issue I described in the video where they are stuck "In Processing" and not switching to finished. I'm working with their support department to try to find a fix for my issue. For your issue, are you using h.264 to upload or one of the other Codecs? I recommend contacting them yourself about your issue: support.panoskin.com/hc/en-us/requests/new
I tried a Max and was forced to break the video up into 5-10 second chunks in the Max software in order for Trailblazer to accept it. For some reason, it wouldn't allow me to use a full 30 second video from the Max. 🙁 So that gets pretty tedious cutting all of your footage up.
There isn't a way that I know of to edit things out of the videos AND maintain the GPS information. If you were to take the GoPro rendered footage and edit it in some other software, it would lose the GPS data when you exported it again. Google does it by using a much larger array of cameras and better software. If you end up finding a way, please share it with me. Thanks for subscribing!

You can make money by charging businesses to take street view inside their store.
ya im trying to get some of that going . i cant get trailBlazer to finish the roads i did when i emailed them they were like buy a membership .

how did you get the go pro mobile app to work with the camera. That does not work with fuion 360 .
I just checked and it works for me on Android (didn't try iOS). I'm just using the plain GoPro App. I was able to repair and control my Fusion. 🤔
I read on a local guides discussion that some people were using 24fps while recording but I noticed your camera didn't have that setting option.

The Street View app has a lot of problems. I suggest using a third party application.

Yes, you can close Trailblazer. All the work is being done on Google then.
