Can i upload a fusion video to unity? Also, when you put on a vr headset, will your surroundings look real, or is the picture blurry in vr? If i dont want to video in vr, is the photo ability any good?
Buenas, te consulto lo siguiente. Yo voy a viajar durante 2 meses generando contenido con la cámara. Por lo que vi las únicas dos maneras de exportar los videos de la misma, es a través de la app en el celular con WIFI o en el go pro fusion estudio renderizando. Ninguna de las dos opciones son viables para mi modo de viaje. Aquí va mi duda... es posible mover los archivos de las tarjetas SD a un disco externo, y luego volver a incorporarlos a la cámara y renderizar por go pro estudio? Gracias.

How can change the pov during video recording, so when it plays back, it shows the of pov automatically without having to do it manually on playback.. If that makes sense.. Can't find this book Amazon.. Bought my 360 Fusion in 2020..
Hi, great tutorial! Just didn't catch the Tip #2. Why it is not good idea record video under water?
The stitch lines are amplified in water. The transition between the two lenses is very noticeable. I still do it because it is fun.

Thank you for the well-explained video. I always follow your instructions as you are the only one that explains things in the best and easiest way. I just got my new Fusion and when i tried to pair it says 'Your phone cannot control your Fusion or support the 360 media on it'. How is it possible, recently I bought the OnePlus 6T with 128 GB of memory and it worked with the GoPro Hero 7 black? I wonder why?

Sorry, the Fusion book was never published unfortunately. There is a book for the Max camera that, even though it's not specific to Fusion, still has a lot of similarities and may be useful to you. Sorry about that. The Max book is available in digital and paperback.

I'm not really understanding how it captures 360? Also, is the stick also a gimbal or is that something you need to buy separately?
One lens on each side of the unit, each covers just over 180 degrees. When imported into go pros software it stitches the two videos together with decent results. The pole is not a gimbal but one isn't necessary as it is possible to do image stabilization in post production. Provided you have a computer with a big enough hard drive, holy bananas are the files huge on this thing.
Is gopro fusion worth to buy at 250 dollars?...
Is this the same type of battery as any of the other gopros?
No, the Fusion has its own battery that doesn't work with other GoPro cameras.

Would the Fusion be a good tool to video my kid's baseball game, and then make videos of each kid running the bases after their hits? Or is that too complicated for the Fusion?
If you were to place the Fusion near the pitcher's mound, I could see the Overcapture feature having use for your desired effect. Worth looking into the distance needed to capture a quality video with Overcapture. (Which comes with the Fusion) Hope this helps.

You could definitely pull this off with Fusion by using the same raw video to make multiple edits using Overcapture. However, the wide angle lenses on Fusion typically need to be closer to your subject than it would be in a baseball field. Also, if a baseball were to hit the camera, your Fusion might get damaged- it's not as rugged as a typical GoPro.
@@Mike-ck3wi when I thought of this, I was going to put the camera in the dugout looking through the fence. But that might mess up the shot.

Hi, yes those card should work fine.
Hi, my fusion has different exposure for each lens, one lens super dark and one lens alot more brighter. Firmware 2.0, I do also use protune but it still same a problem. How can I correct this ?
Even though it seems strange, when you record, try to split the light on each side of the lens. For example, at sunset, hold the camera sideways so the sunlight lands on both sides relatively equally. This will help the exposure even out for each lens.

You skipped a part for the bottom bracket on the camera that slides in. Mine won't go in for whatever reason
360 makes me dizzy. I have issues with vertigo.

Sorry to hear you have vertigo. That must be hard. Even though, you can edit 360 video so it's not so dizzy looking, the editing process probably wouldn't be good for you. Thanks for commenting.

Is there option to rec footage while driving and when the memory is full to start writing from the start automatically in case of an accident?
What about going with one 127gb SD card.
The camera requires two cards because each lens records onto one card. The two "halves" are then stitched together to make a 360 video.
Ok, so what GoPro are trying to say is that little sliding door is all that is protecting your data and your battery? @ 5m depths/splashing/waves......

Hi, It's now called Quik. GoPro renamed it earlier this year.
The only complaint I have for the Fusion is lack of accessories. I cant find chest or head strap for Fusion.
How is 360 degrees going to work if you are wearing are chest strap?. There is adhesive tape underneath to stick to your helmet.
@@David-uk7sm David So I have to buy a second camera and chest strap if I want that feature?? I would think a 360 camera would handle all in one for every angle, like the Insta360 does. I'm not buying a Hero and a Fusion, I want just one camera.
@@AD24716 The fusion has two lens one in the front and one at the back. Hence two SD cards. Not sure if you can shot only on one side only,
@@David-uk7sm Yep, I bought the Fusion but took it back within 2 weeks. It wasn't terrible, but I went with Insta360 one X instead. It has a lot of accessories, but had to get waterproof case. Fusion was already made waterproof.

This camera is $214.00 in 2021 is it still worth it to get one?
Yeah, you can still produce great content with Fusion. It just requires more time in postproduction. In Max, the files are stitched in camera, which really simplifies the process. But, as far as quality, Fusion is still good.

My issue is when the video is a little longer than 20 secs , after render the quik app collapse and dont download the fiie render. The 360 video is ok but before I had video longer and no problem . Iphone 13 and 11 same issue
