I just got my GoPro in the mail today Sunday the 2nd of October. And I got all the steps to up to where to charge it. So thank you so far because I know nothing about GoPros this is my first one ever for my RUclips channel. I will finish watching the rest tomorrow after it's charged. Pretty cool video, I just switched from gp7 to the 11, already have the quick app, now with the 11 when I download the videos to my phone I can't watch them, only audio.
It will play the videos on the app but not on the regular photo gallery app on my android. Any idea how to fix this issue?
Wow, I don’t even own a GoPro and this was helpfully. However, been thinking about getting my first GoPro a 10 or 11 and that’s why I’m watching the video which is still quite helpful in research evaluating. The communication and explanation as quite clear for a beginner which is quite important.

You're a lifesaver. First time GoPro (any for that matter, any action camera) user here. I got frustrated because I couldn't find the Night Timelapse mode. I kept checking the basic video settings. After watching your video, I realised I got to click on the Time Lapse mode to find the other modes 😅 I felt I might have received a fake Gopro 11. You saved my local dealer a nasty phone call from me 😂

After I had used my new GoPro Hero 11 Black a few times, I was wanting to return it. It was overheating and the battery didn't last long at all. But since I'd had it more than 30 days, I figured they wouldn't take it back. So, I sat down with it and went through all of the settings. The next time I took it out, everything worked perfectly. The Quik app is great - as a remote control and as a video editor. I wish I'd found your video in December..
Hi, I'm glad you figured it out. I think a lot of people are dissatisfied when they don't understand the camera. Like any tool, you need to know how to use it. The Hero 11 can produce amazing quality videos, so I'm glad you are enjoying it!

What would be recommended settings for windsurfing video? The older GoPro had the fisheye lens aspect ratio that made waves look small!

If I was going to mount my gopro on a bike which setting do you recommend?
Hi Juan,
It really depends what view you are looking for. The Handlebar Seatpost Mount gives you multiple options for attaching your camera to a few different areas of the bike frame. I like using the Chest Mount because it adds some perspective into the shots with the handlebars in the frame. The Helmet Mounts pretty much just show what's in front of you, which can get kind of boring at times. Hope that helps!

When I film on the street busking footage on the go pros... the shops lights in the back ground flicker... people say to change to 25fps altho it does'nt make a difference which frames it is... there are anti flickering special effects on the video editing software, altho when I over lay it, the sacrifice is the people walking through that area is blurry.... double the nightmear if the footage is handheld... will this ever be resolved??!!
