    Though it's not a cure. I recommend looking into a keto type diet. I have Dissecting Cellulitis and I've noticed anytime I consume carbs or sugar the bumps would swell and grow. When I cut out most carbs and sugar literally within a day the swelling is going down. One in particular that I had was about the size of a golf ball from what the doctor told me. It's now practically nonexistent. I'm even growing hair back. This is not a cure, that's not what I'm saying. There is however in my opinion something to a keto type diet. I truly hope this info helps anyone who has this. I know the pain and struggle of it🙏

      ive eaten under 20gr of fiberous carbs a day for 8 years (flesh and fibre) and in the past 2, developed dissecting cellulitis.
      diet does nothing.

      Thank you, mine is a minor case but unfortunately I will be bald due to genetics. This gives me hope…I’m 23 and losing my hair. My plan was to shave it and just become fit well dressed and well mannered but getting this problem has changed the game. Now I’m using minoxidil and finasteride to hang on to my hair for as long as possible. Hopefully in 5-10 years when I’m almost completely bald we will know more about this and how to at least cover it up or put in complete remission.

      I also use red light therapy caps twice a day each day….for anyone else out there that has this and is reading this. My bumps on my head are minimal. If I wasn’t going to eventually be bald it would be no problem.

      @@profLidiaRudnicka does telogen effluvium lead to miniaturization? Or then dr please answer this and help me what really don’t understand , because i have chronic telogen effluvium, but does chronic telogen effluvium show miniaturization? Cause even tho i have telogen effluvium dermatologist tell me i have androgenetic alopecia , but it hasn’t progressed in years and i still have shedding , so can telogen effluvium also result in miniaturization can they be wrong with the diagnosis of androgenetic alopecia? Is it easy to ditinguish between upright regrowing hairs and miniaturized hairs?

      Isotretinoin works well in most cases. Adalimumab may be helpful. Currently there are not many patients in whom available treatments don’t work (if no anabolic medications are taken)

    Is there any type of cute if you have dissecting cellulitis/hidradenitis

    • @profLidiaRudnicka
      @profLidiaRudnicka  Год назад

      Yes, dissecting cellulitis is usually easier to treat (retinoids, antibiotics, TNF inhibitors and more) than hidradenitis.
      Surgery is also an option.
