Honestly I really like the Freddie Mercury one. It’s hideous and hilarious all at once, it’s so horrible that most people will either burst out laughing or break down crying from looking at it. And yet, it’s still recognizable as Freddie.
If I had that tatt, I'd own it. It's a hideous but you can tell it's Freddie.
It gets more cursed the more you look at it.
On the first one, "belive in myself", I would just have added a small text below where it would say "even when I make mistakes".

Also tattoo artists: I'd cover it with an eagle/rose/skull.
Gonna assume it's because you can hide the letters amongst all the details - I had a name covered with a vine of butterflies.
There's cliche fads and trends that go in and out, sure, but eagles roses and skulls are traditional classics that never go out of style. Common, sure, but then it's down to the execution.
Well, the Velociraptor peaking trough the triangle carving sounds like an awesome tattoo to me. Nice response. Hope that person see this video and hook with Ryan to make that AWESOME fix happen.

@@alexha1282 idk as much as I have researched about dyslexia, it causes people to get lost in their own world of thoughts and tends to mix up letters, numbers and mix up designs and everything and this wouldn't be ideal given it's going to be permanent on my skin.

I’m not a tattoo artist, nor do I have any tattoos, but I’m a traditional artist and honestly that purple flower just looks incomplete, I’d take some red or blue, and do a bit of shading, differ some of line weights. Barring that I’d do some black pointlism. I guess maybe the pain would be unbearable, but all in all it just looks incomplete.

@@zalebabe a creative mindset can fix most things but big dark tattoos are hard to cover or have to atleast be lightened first and sometimes the only option is laser.
clever an yet there's a difference between a recommendation an refusal. The same artist always said laser it off. The focus is how to fix... if all you can suggest is lasering off a tattoo you do not have a creative mind set. Period

The pizza tattoos part were everyone just wanted to do a pizza or ice cream and ryan ashley wanted to make a triangle and a dinosaur peaking out of it. proves she is a really unique tattoo artist and that's why she won Ink Master S8 l.

@RUclips Google e Facebook vaffanculo , it's not a terrible as a caricature (I knew it was supposed to be Freddie Mercury at a glance) but *(1)* the neck is insanely thick (hence the Thanos comparisons) and *(2)* Freddie's top teeth are shown in profile but the bottom teeth are shown in 3/4 view, making it look like his jaw is dislocated.

For the first tattoo, I'd take it and turn the letters into trees/treeline and some kind of scenery with it to make it go together somehow I guess, that was my first thought

All of them are good but you can tell which ones have an edge over the others and more skills by how they’d fix some of these

I'm not a tattoo artist or any kind of artist for that matter, but like the purple rose on the hand, it seems like it would be easy to darken the lines on the inside, make them thicker, and add some black around the outside, have them creatively laser off some areas, then add some red, white and yellow on the inside, put on some stars and turn it into a galaxy print rose.

Add some extra decorative scrollwork, such as what's under "Belive". Float a few more words: Believe and also Belove to make the spelling look intentional.

I find it a bit disconcerting that the immediate reaction most of the time is “yeah I don’t spell well” or “yeah I’ve misspelled a few...” I think I’ll just always avoid words on my body...
The thing is though that the client does checks the stencil before the tattooing begins so really they aren't the only ones at fault
Also, if an artist is honest about that, they probably don't do much lettering. And yeah, the client should definitely double check to make sure its spelled right.
To be honest I I’d say the client is more to blame then the artist when it comes to spelling. Especially if it’s a name, but regardless what it is they draw up a design be effing sure it’s right and what You want. You live with it not the artist.
Grip Side when I was planning my quote tattoo, I wrote it out multiple times, typed it out just as much, spell checked, read and reread, had a few other trusted people read through it for any mistakes and to make sure it makes sense and has good structure. Then punched it into a few different font programs and found the one I loved, sent it to my tattoo artist a couple days before my appointment, she proofread it and then wrote it out before making the stencil for both of us to proofread again.
And if I ever get another quote tattoo, I’ll do the same thing. 😂
To me I think it’s up to you to make sure it’s spelt right they’re there to put it on you it’s your job to research it and make sure it’s what you want

I'm not a tattoo artist but the rose on the hand seemed like one of the easiest fixes. Darken the inner lines and put some shading in the right spots, and that could be a really pretty tattoo!!!!! Make it a little more realistic and give it some dimension and it's perfect!!!!! I would sport that with the right shading and outlines!!!!!

The first tattoo fix is really simple. BIG BOLD RED LINE across belive, and then tattoo believe above it. Cool tattoo and a conversation starter.

I would say change the word belive and make it belief in myself. You could change the v into an e and the e into a f. Luckily cursive fonts are fluid and easy to change but it would be difficult and add something else around it to help distract a bit from the reworked letters. 👍🏼
