So so so proud of you! You’re killing it! Leading the rest of us small business owners into such amazing success. You look so happy & so content! Got me wanting to start making my wood signs again 😍😍😍. I just wanna glow like you!! ❤️
Love this. That is one thing I’ve noticed since starting my “home business” is that I can easily work myself to death. It’s so easy to stay up until 2 am on the computer.
I was blown away with your analysis on the shipping costs for the one sign and how you really need to do your homework first. It is a lesson I am taking to heart and I am so appreciative of your sharing this information. Also, people don't realize how much goes into running your business that is not just about the making of the product and is time consuming. Thanks for another great video.
Thanks so much Naomi! Yes it takes a lot of behind the scenes to run a business! So worth it though! Look for an email response coming back to you this evening 😊
Fellow ADHDer here, I actually just got diagnosed at 36. It’s ASTOUNDING how night and day different my productivity and overall efficiency has been on medication. It’s so underrepresented in women that I had no idea everything I’d been dealing with was attributed to that - and I work with the neurodivergent population and have for over a decade! Thank you for posting these and always being real. It’s nice to work along to, and your honesty and transparency helps me not try and overdo things or get down on myself. 💜
I was diagnosed as a young child, and got off medication as a teen. Now that there are so many different options, I have thought about talking to the doctor again. It's just nerve wracking. I have found that being organized, planning days, and eliminating distractions helps so much! But some days it is reallyyyy hard to stay on task and remain less anxious. I'm proud of you for taking that next step! Thanks for sharing Jenna 👏 ❤️
Loved your video Sallie (as always!). What devotional was that- It really applied to my life right now and I would like to get one! I think this might be my favorite video so far- it had a little of everything in it! Thank you for being an encouragement and for sharing so many of your tips with us!
My old girl didn’t like UPS drivers either. Drivers tried to pet her and she would run away from them. She would say hi to the Canada Post drivers though lol.
Venturing into selling on Etsy shortly with my wife, I must say, this video was extremely insightful, informative and helpful. Thanks for sharing this ‘day in the life’ video. Thanks! - Howie
I love love your fur babies. German shepherds are my favorite dog. I've had two. Although I sew and embroidery I find many of your tips very useful especially the ladt one on shipping.
Hello! Hello!! I love your vlog....Day in the life. I wish I was just as busy as you...well I am..but with our other businesses we run. I can't wait to be busy crafting. My ducks are almost all lined up. haha! Thanks for sharing Sallie. :)
I love your channel and check daily for any updates. I am finding it hard to relate as i don't have a laser cutter and can't make the signs you make, looking forward to watching more relatable videos
hi! love your videos! they've been tons of help! i wanted to know whats the name of the machine you use to cut your Wood letters... is that láser or CNC?
What madman came up with the shipping rules and prices? It's insane how much of a difference a few inches can make. Great advice on mocking up the shipping before hand. Thanks Sallie!
Fur babies love to be with you! My dog does the same and my cat Leo hahaha … love you princess to save where you can! Shipping is a big reason I don’t sell much online… but I have since found pirate ship so I use that more when I can! 🥰
I am working on my own at home business , i want to venture into expanding and selling on etsy ...your videos are helpful just wish i could have a real conversation with you
Yes it's just the right size! My husband actually made a video showing how we cut our plywood down. Let me know if you have any questions! ruclips.net/video/NoKvmmoP1Xc/видео.html
Thank you for doing this vlog I’m starting my own business and I’m a stay at home mom and I love your videos already! Thanks for the video also what book do you use for your devotional if you don’t mind me asking 😊
Thanks so much Alexis!! This one was gifted to me, it's called "the confident woman's devotional" by Joyce meyer. It's been good so far! I like getting new ones each year. It's amazing how some passages really align with your life and what is going on, and gives you something to think about each day. ❤️
Yes I'm a much happier person with them done! And no not necessarily. We do have lots of plans for a garden and different things, but probably won't add animals. At least not anytime soon!
So random but do you like that coffee maker lol! My Keurig is slowing dying on me and I was looking at this one to replace it but am still on the fence lol. Also new to your channel but so far loving your videos!!!!
Yes I love it!! I love how you can do single cups or full pots, it has the frother, all of the brew settings. Heavenly! ❤️🤣 Thanks for watching and supporting, happy to have you here!
Love the behind the scenes of a business owner, because every day is completely different yet something to look forward too. Random 😂Have you accidentally broken a wood sign, if so how quickly does to take to fix, depending on the brake. Also do you use photoshop to edit or just try new techniques?
Thanks Deanna! So actually I have not broken one!! I have had things happen like a nail pop through, paint smear, or something like that where I've had to spend time fixing it or remake. Time can vary! But thankfully no breaks 😅 I use photoshop some for editing thumbnails but mostly use picmonkey for editing 😊
Love your spirit, girl! Do you poly your signs at all? Also, have you looked into 3M backing rather than using glue? I know it’s an added cost but it saves me so much time and liquid glue and I don’t get along. 🤣
Yes I do spray clear coat on the lettering and back boards! I definitely have considered the 3m as well, but it's just so dang expensive 🤣 I definitely will test it out one of these days. Glue can definitely be a mess!
these types of vlogs are always my favorite 🫶🏼

Thank you so much Kellie! You have no idea how much this means to me. ❤️
Love this. That is one thing I’ve noticed since starting my “home business” is that I can easily work myself to death. It’s so easy to stay up until 2 am on the computer.
Yes I agree!! So healthy to learn to stop. It's mentally exhausting!

🤣 he's going through the awkward ear phase! Such a good ball!
I get a lot of info from your videos Thank you.
Thanks Patti! I'm so glad 😊
Great video! What kind of wood are you using for your signs?
Question: when you redesign/manipulate the wooden name signs, do your customers know or is it something you advertise ahead of time?

Sallie what color paint do you have on your home walls? Is a pretty light neutral color
Good morning to you it is 4.00pm here in missouri
What’s this machine that cuts the wood? This is awesome!
What is the laser cutter you use?
I am working on my own at home business , i want to venture into expanding and selling on etsy ...your videos are helpful just wish i could have a real conversation with you
I can really see where the size of the Nova 51 comes into play for large designs. Just out of curiosity, what size do you cut your ply sheets down to?
Yes it's just the right size! My husband actually made a video showing how we cut our plywood down. Let me know if you have any questions! ruclips.net/video/NoKvmmoP1Xc/видео.html

@@SimplySallie thanks so much for taking the time to reply, I’ll check it out!
@@LifeByLexx Yes! Highly recommend Joyce Meyer's books. 🙏
Im the same with feeling anxious about the house chores! Your yard is huge! Do you plan to farm it?
Yes I'm a much happier person with them done! And no not necessarily. We do have lots of plans for a garden and different things, but probably won't add animals. At least not anytime soon!

I have a thunder laser also. I am having an issue with it cutting out the letters. What speed and power do you use to cut out your letters?
What power machine do you have?
@@SimplySallie Nova 51 100 watt
What is the name of the glue that you use on the letters?
Loctite super glue!
Love the behind the scenes of a business owner, because every day is completely different yet something to look forward too.

@@SimplySallie well that’s a blessing that you haven’t had to deal with any breaks
Could you do a video on how to use photoshop?
The spray handle is great. I have one I purchased a couple of months ago. So useful. Excellent video as always. Love your doggies. They are so cute.
Thanks patty! Yes, I'm surprised I went this long without it 😅
Snap with the ninja coffee machine
I loveee it! ☕️

What time and temp on the cups plz.
385 for 150 seconds 😊
@@SimplySallie thank you
What’s the class?
It is an etsy listing class 😊 it's linked in the description.
