Speaking of discounts, I used to work in New York City. There was a store in an area travelled by lots of tourists that had a sign in their window saying (in big, black letters) 'GOING OUT 0F BUSINESS - ALL PRICES SLASHED" and "WE LOST OUR LEASE. EVERYTHING MUST GO" Not so say the weren't actually going out of business, but I passed that store, Monday through Friday, for over five years. The sign had become so bleached by the sun that the the letters had faded to off-white. And in all that time, they had the highest prices on the block.

If only Etsy wasn't deliberately hiding some seller's listings that Etsy is wrongfully charging listing fees to SHOW. I wouldn't be surprised if Etsy got hit with a multi-billion dollar class action lawsuit someday for it
Loved this video and this tool. Do you think it matters if you choose an item that's an AD listing vs. a regular one? I know in one example it looked like it showed both.
I do resin crafts and I already do highly customizable pieces but they are all with glitter, flowers and colors plus the layout etc but I really want to try doing some stuff where they can add a word or their name etc But my mail issue is that I feel like someone is going to ask for something inappropriate and I don't want to have to deal with that tbh. I won't ever make stuff like that and so I am kinda scared at what might happen if I deny a customer for those reasons (Even though by law I can deny for whatever reason I want)
You can state that you won't make items with cuss or sexual words. The number of requests that you would get for strange things would be minimal. If you want to grow your business, give it a shot. You can always remove it from your store.

I have a personal Etsy and a business Etsy account, so it’s not against policy to have those 2 account types. You could set up your business account with the email you want customers to use (I don’t think you can use the same email to set up two accounts anyway, even if one is business and one is personal)
unfortunately the browser did not work for me, I made an account and it says I am connected with Etsy but the side panel does not show up. I tried everything it said for troubleshooting from uninstalling ad reinstalling and still nothing, I clicked contact support and nothing happens.

I've heard about this for retail stores, I wasn't sure about online! But I do not plan on doing this forever, just as a way to boost sales for a little, and then go back to normal pricing! Thanks for sharing! 😊

EverBee are actually only guessing about the monthly revenue based on visits and favorites. It's not real data at all and very far away from the truth! For one of my products they show that I make 18k a month and I've sold only one piece of it.
That seems like a glitch. From what I've seen on their site, it is about 80% accurate(it's also improving everyday) so it does give you tools you need to find trending products so you know what to sell. It's definitely increased my sales using it by seeing what is popular!
i wanna ask the other fellas who sell digital products on etsy for the past 6 months, is it possible to get 30-50 sales on the 1st month we open the shop? if yes, how many products should we already have before opening our shop? please help me🥺🤍
Late to the party - dot worry about how many products you have, just open your shop and get listing - 1,2 or 20 items, it doesn’t matter. Just start and then build.

How long did you run the sale?
It's still running 😊 you just adjust your prices to account for the sale.
Be careful marking them up and always having them on sale. Most states this is against the law. Make sure you keep it off sale for a bit.
