One of the greatest Heavyweights in boxing history! The Brown Bomber is one of the most dominant forces of all time as he reigned as world Heavyweight champion for 12 years, successfully defending his title a staggering 25 times. Louis was an exceptional offensive force with blistering combinations, devastating power and underrated speed. His body punching in particular was vicious and it's the last aspect of his skill set that I've yet to cover. The Brown Bomber at his best! www.patreon.com/haNZAgod
Sorry but I don't see this, I see no defense, no movement, no speed, just plodding forward with great power, when one relies only on their physicality they will be out bruted eventually, especially today when people are bigger than ever before.
@@Pedro_Le_Chef both are good combination punchers, near equal I guess. Holyfield was more active and arguably faster with his combinations. Louis had less thrown in it,but he prefers good timing and punch selection to throw his opponents off. Both are truly accurate and strong,so yeah..

Definitely expect that one soon! Some other videos coming in the next few weeks are; a fantasy fight between Artur Beterbiev and Dwight Muhammad Qawi, James "Hard Rock" Green's defensive skills and a new highlight of Liam Paro.
Greatest heavyweight, puncher and champion of all time. The way he viciously went after Conn's torso with combos was sublime. Billy could barely drag his feet as the fight went on and Louis took him out in emphatic fashion. No one destroyed as many different styles of boxer the way Louis did. Movers? He crushed them. Counter punchers? He crushed them. Crowding crouching fighters? He crushed them. At his best he was as close as one gets to unbeatable.
He was terrible with movers definitely, but knew how to take them out by body blows,I'd still say some great movers can still beat Louis, like Ali for example.
@HaraDuran There has been no heavyweight in history who dealt with movers as well as Louis did. Knocked out Lee ramage twice Knocked out Billy Conn twice. Beat Bob Pastor twice, once by KO Beat Joe Walcott twice, once by KO That's 8 wins, 6 knockouts and zero losses. The only one who comes close is Frazier with 2 wins over Ellis, 1 win over Machen and one over Ali, amounting to just 4 wins. Louis was better at dealing with movers than Dempsey, Foreman, Liston, Tyson and Lennox were.
@@HaraDuran You'd have to get the quote from a trustworthy source for it to have validity. A lot of boxing legend is he said/she said hearsay. Even if the quote was accurate, it doesn't change the fact that Louis holds the most knockouts over fast boxers over any other heavyweight in history. Liston couldn't take them out, Foreman couldn't take them out, Tyson famously struggled with Tillis, Dempsey lost to Tunney both times, Marciano struggled with movers who were in their 40s. For whatever trouble Louis had with movers, he fought the best fast guys around and beat them all. Sure he had trouble with them, but a quick guy with good boxing skills is a terrible match up for anyone, just look at the heavyweights today struggling with cruiserweight Usyk. Everyone has trouble with movers, including Joe, but no one dealt with them the way Joe did. Louis simply gets singled out because he was so flawless that any minor misstep gets exemplified. It's like a small imperfection in an otherwise perfect product. You wouldn't notice it in something else, but when everything else around it is pristine, it stands out more.

No doubt
@hanzagod personally he's the second best heavyweight in history for me
Louis bodywork is the reason why i would still see him beat many big guys of today. He had serious power, he broke Max Schmelings back!

Love it when you make Joe Louis videos. He’s just technically so great. Man could literally compete in any era style wise. Thank you. Great video.
His style was more of a actual fight style like Marciano. These heavyweights today seem afraid to engage just in case they get hit ,
Punch selection on another level. IQ. power. both on another level. Just on another level man.
Love me some Joe Louis. Absolutely vicious 🥊
