I just went through this install - 280 with stock transmission and low range gears. I did run into a few issues though - not enough room for the front driveshaft couple off the transmission once the motor was installed, and it took me a while to find the correct sized screws to secure the motor to the transmission. I ended up using the screws from a Dell laptop! Right now I have a RWD TRX4M!
Nope bolts right in just a drop of proline tire glue holds the pinion on the motor and your good to go have 20+hours on this rig now and it's holding strong the drive shafts are the only thing I've broke

Do you think maybe we could raise the motor. Or perhaps and angled skid chassis?
I've built 3 all with revolvers not had any drive line fitment issues with them have about 1.5 mm clearance on the front shafts from the motor can
@@600bubba how’d you manage to fit them. I’ve seen others and they can’t get the front driveshaft on with the 280.
It's best to just get metal shafts like the injora ones as that is a issue Ive had the motor has enough to snap the plastic ones like a toothpick
