I would love to share my carnivore journey. In April of this year I was literally dying. I went into my doctors office one day and they took my blood pressure and it was 58/47 I have been experiencing fainting spells, so weak, I could not get out of bed and go to work. I had suffered for years with irritable bowel syndrome, leaky gut, Sjogren’s syndrome, and depression. In just 30 days the carnivore diet change my life. I’m originally from Mississippi and I moved to Honolulu and 84. I am a condominium manager and a horse trainer. I’ve never had such a life altering experience. If you ever need someone else to interview, I’m happy to give my testimony. Please keep doing what you’re doing and I pray God bless you in your efforts.

when it comes to affordability of a Carnivore diet the first thing I found was I didn't eat as much or as often as I did. I only eat twice a day and also fast a few times per week by just skipping one meal. it is amazing how you just never feel hungery even when you skip a meal when on a carnivore diet. I actually spend less on food now then before when I was on a so called normal balanced diet.

I love to get my hamburger home and prep meatballs with it. 12 minutes in the air fryer and I have a filling easy meal. I season generously, salt pepper and garlic seasoning, add an egg or 2 to 3 lbs of ground beef and use a scoop to measure out the balls. I freeze them on a baking sheet and then bag them up in freezer bags. Some people add shredded cheese and bacon crumbles but I’m trying to lose weight. I found that if I was eating for PLEASURE, I had a hard time with the carnivore diet. But then I began to eat just for sustenance and found other things that took up my time for pleasure. THEN it became easy to be carnivore. I didn't realize how much time I had been spending making PLEASUREABLE meals rather than simple meals that didn't have as much to do with pleasure as with sustenance. So now, eating is like washing dishes; it a necessity rather than a pleasure.

Most people on a poor diet are eating to some extent or other for pleasure. Having owned weight loss gyms for over 15 years i can honestly say that in my opinion the mental aspect of switching from seeing food as their main source of pleasure, to getting pleasure from other aspects of life, is possibly the toughest thing to overcome. Anyone who has a proven method for this or comes up with one, will make a lot of money! It can be done but for many people it is not easy at all ❤️

Good, as far as I know as a man. What I have learned is these areas, including breasts and perhaps prostate, first develop cysts that may later develop into cancer. This is due to most everyone being woefully low in iodine. Of course, following the government recommendations on recommended levels of daily iodine is, lets say, a tad suboptimal (in the extreme). As a man, I take 1000 x the government recommendations in the form of KI, have for years. I am 75, all year. Of course this is obviously not Medical Mafia advice, just my opinion from my research. Just remember, Medical is about the largest BUSINESS in the world. Very profitable, if people are sick that is. If people just knew!!!

@BakewithAmy from 305 to 235lbs so far. I had a stall for rebuilding a dead atrophied leg after my sciatic nerve popped back into place, but even then, my body composition changed drastically. I really don't see how you could not see and feel the changes. Anybody who says similar to you, I wish I could watch for a week just to see what they are really doing. I couldn't even exercise until just recently because rebuilding an entire leg from ass to foot was a slow, painfully sore process. I do 6/18 omad with a 3-5 day 3x so far. The extended fasts definitely break stalls. Heck, I even still smoked cigarillos pretty heavily until a bit over 2 weeks ago. To go into a high fat diet from a low or almost no fat diet is not easy. There is the psychological hurdle to overcome too. I find beef tallow repulsive, lamb is worse. I use pork fat for cooking and butter whenever i can. Salted butter would be more tasty and perhaps you can incorporate a little chilli flakes and/or spices to make the "oily" taste more palatable. Avoid sauces as they have lots of hidden sugars. Myself, coming from a low fat diet for decades, i need to improvise in order to "get" the fats in 😄 Hope this helps 🌻

One video says eat a stick of butter a day, or even two, if your hormones have to be healed, and anyway it is important for women to eat plenty of fat. The other video says do not eat extra fat, another video says don't eat butter, as it is addictive, eat tallow or raw beef fat instead. And I can't make up my mind what to do then. So I started to fry our food on organic (not raw) butter and I put cold raw butter on top, as extra fat. Then I listened another video, and I ended up using beef tallow, instead of butter. That made us feel sick, even during the night sleeping was challenging, because of the constant sick feeling. An instant change was difficult, so I used both butter and beef tallow, even pork fat, as that just taste divine. Now we can eat both butter and tallow, no problem. And now I just heard in this video, don't add extra fat in the top of your food, if you want to loose weight. But then again you can do 3 days butter fast to loose weight, as butter melts fat off your body. There is a great chance that I don't get it, because I am new to this lifestyle, or because English is not my 1st language. Can I please get a luttle guide in this topic? A simple explanation? Because I am really confused now. BTW I really enjoy the videos and I absolutely love to feel full of energy. Thank you so much for all the time and effort to create the videos.

Recall when you first start that it is way different after you are fat adapted - and metabolically healing - after you have adopted the lifestyle - then you can start getting VERY specific - but when you start don't trip over good to get to great in 30 seconds - life is a journey enjoy the trip. Eat meat until you FEEL good, and then if you need to dial it in - do so.
I started May 2, 2023 and I am down to 210 from 267 - and haven't started measuring macros - just eat meat when I am hungry.

We’re starting and I’ve found it confusing too. Some of the older carnivore videos there were some heavy promoters of the butter, and about six months later those same people started sharing how it was making them put on weight. I want to say there was a dr in some of them, (endocrinologist?) who was backing the butter diet but even she said after awhile some were having negative consequences of it and she had begun changing her recommendations up. Maybe take a look at the video dates and people sharing to see if they’ve kept to it.

I just purchased 12 lbs chuck roast and 12 lbs of 80/20 hamburger. All of it was $3.00 lb. I eat 2 lbs a day. That is about $225 a month. Affordable for certain. Texas is a great place to buy meat. I look /shop early in the morning for meat discounts. I have all the grocery apps in my area and check each one on Tuesdays. When I see a deal, I fill the freezer. Holidays are always great for meat sales. Sometimes chicken leg quarters are $.69 a pound, pork shoulder can get as low as $.99 lb.

This is simply wrong for one simple reason. You need fat for nutrition. Go and read the book Calcium Paradox which discusses the health benefits of vitamin k2. It is cured with celery powder and the other day I went shopping ...with out my glasses....and I bought Applegate ''uncured'' genoa salami ....when I got home I put on my glasses and read the package and it was cured with Swiss Chard powder. I was freaked out, because I've had issues with oxalate poisoning that has made me miserable with the side effects of oxalate dumping since I started going carnivore. I've done some research and have found very little on these powders and if they contain high doses of oxalates. If it does then how much oxalate is on these ''uncured'' meats? Dosage with oxalates matters!!! Ty for the very informative, encouraging video!!
