same. When I try to explain the relevance of this show to my nephews and nieces, I know they'll never understand the impact this show had worldwide. It was perfect timing, together with the race and final plateauing of the car industry. Since the trio of Porsche 918, La Ferrari and MacLaren P1, the car industry stopped racing towards a 1000 hp. We could witness and live that race for the last 2 decades. What a privilege, that future generations will never have again. What an exciting timeframe in human history. Narrated and perfected by those 4 friends (Andrew Wilman / Producer).

I’m 40. My young adulthood was experienced through many quotes from these three. It may seem pedantic, as Captain Slow might say, but many a post-shift was a cup of these three. They served as almost counselors that helped me forget my last shifts experiences as a paramedic firefighter. They kept me, from reopening the boxes of memories and smells; allowed me to be a young father and husband.

I grew up as an American boy, and now a man, watching you on the one and only real Top Gear, and then of course The Grand Tour. I always loved British television growing up, as it just aligned more with my way of thinking than anything else. And I have to say, you guys in particular have left me with some distinctly British sensibilities that have quite literally become part of who I am as a now 41-year-old man.
The three of you together, like this, live on in all of us in this kind of way.
And of those of us who grew up watching, we'd be lying if we said it didn't go on with the rest of our experiences to become chiseled permanently into the abstract stonework that is our human psyche. I am, of course, sad to see you go, but like all great things, it at some point must come to an end, bittersweet though it may be. Cheers, gentlemen. And thanks for the years of laughter.

I was in my 10th grade when Top gear was introduced to me by my Singaporean uncle who bought over season 17 loaded onto a harddisk. Being in India, I had no channels on my cable which broadcasted top gear so I was pretty oblivious to them.
I distinctly remember being bored one day and putting it on the tv, not expecting anything else other than some cool cars. Didn't take me long to realise that I had stumbled on a literal gem. And season 17 was basically peak top gear, with masterpieces like the India special. Suffice to say that 'hooked' wont even begin to describe how I fell in love with the trio.
Now 27 years old and working a 9-5, these three men have played such a formative role in my life that I am finding it difficult to digest that this is the literal last one.
But as the saying goes all great things come to an end and all one can hope is if they remain great while they come to a close.
Thank you jeremy, james and richard and everyone who worked behind the scenes for this amazing show...no... institution.

I have always been an automotive enthusiast, but what made these 3 legends was people that weren’t into cars suddenly enjoyed cars. They kept the enthusiast world alive in an age when mundane crossovers and EV’s have been pushed on to us. We all tuned in. We all laughed, listened, and cried. Some of us look at our cars as more than just a car. It’s an extension of ourselves. I hope the old Top Gear reruns continue to be played, and Amazon never removes any episodes of The Grand Tour so I may have my children watch the greatest automotive show and trio to ever grace our televisions. Because it came to be that it had very little to do with cars. The forst few seasons, even of the reboot, were so car shows, giving advice & reviews to ask things about cars, buying owning, running etc. But by season 5 it started to have challenges & tests that became silly, by season 10 they were leaving onto it & that's when the general public started getting into it more. It became less of a car show & more entertainment fairing cars, & you saw more supercars & less normal ones. Then even got bots like "viewers" send in letters & they'd do a test like they did "on old top gear"

It just cannot be the end. Do they not know how much we need this kind of content in our lives? We need to start petitioning for a re-union special soon.

Perhaps they have sons? Cousins? Somebody that can keep it going?

It's really the final conclusion for James May. Discoverer of the true source of the Nile, and two other blokes.

From Japan, to my beloved all you three. Just as every beginning has an end, so too must this journey. Yet, the reality that this is the final "Tour" with Jeremy, James, and Richard is something I find hard to accept.
Through them, I discovered the sheer joy and depth of cars, and learned the true meaning of having companions in life. I love these three men dearly. Their words and humor have been a source of comfort and inspiration time and again. Thank you, to these three legends. I, no, we will never forget you.
I will be here to witness this final "Grand Tour", to the very end. Hope your last ride will be wonderful and unforgettable.
