After weld the top of the cage halo paint the cage before doing the outriggers forgot that on my caged elcamino

The pillar bars were intentionally bent like that. That way when you are super drunk you have something to hold on to besides that pesky steering wheel that moves around.

I had the same issue recently with a kit on the a pillars. I ended up buying separate tubing and having a buddy bend them a little tighter to my a pillars. It ended up being a lot cleaner looking too.

That kit seems really narrow for that car, too late now though. I had to buy a tubing bender and redo a lot of my cage because I didn’t fit in it

you have been busting ass lately, cool to follow along. Those A pillar bars just don't look quite right to me, short or too far inboard or something, maybe just how that cage fits but everything else looked nice and tight to the body.
