Budget disc brakes would be spindles from a mid 90's impala or bubble style b body and front rotors from a 1LE second camaro. Just have to use a reamer on the balljoint sockets to get the ball joints to sit fully. Then you'll have 12 inch front rotors with large caliper pistons on the front

Skylark looks great with the hood on, IMO I would keep the factory hood on it to save some money but I do like me a Sunoco style hood,
