It's one of the nicest DIY 55 hardtops I have ever seen. You have every right to be proud of it. So glad I have one just like it.. Your channel gives me inspiration.. Thank you for sharing
Man, that is one fantastic hardtop. You have done a great job on it and you have every reason to be proud of it. The attention to detail is beyond cool. You have my attention sir, carry on.
you are doing an amazing job on the 55 . i had no idea that you put that much detail work into it without hearing about it from you . everything you did looks great , i can't wait to see it finished.
WOW! Thanks for the video. I think I’ve watched most of your videos on the hardtop and I still learned new things from this video. Now I know why my frame has the extra body mounts. I had been looking all over to try and figure that out. I also didn’t realize there were so many differences between a hardtop and sedan. That’s cool that the roof line is lower, I didn’t know that either. Man, your hardtop has come a long ways. All the work on your chassis as well. I really like that you C notched it. The car is simply beautiful 👍🏻 Elegant & and Bad A at the same time. All the little extras, make all the difference and truly your vision.
Awesome video and yes I'd be very proud of it to. I've watched every video of this build and hopefully I see it at Tri-Five -Nationals this year in August. One thing I would like to see is a video of you installing the stainless trim on windshield and back glass. I'm getting ready to change the back rubber on my 57 and kind of nervous but ill take my time. Thanks for the videos and look forward to more.
Man you should be very proud that 55 is super sharp and the details are second to none. I noticed the autroniceye eye on the dash I assume you made that do something unique with it? What was the original colors of that car new. Happy to see you working on the hardtop again! Later man✌️
When i picked up my 56 hardtop 210 it was Identical to yours no rust problems someone put a rocker on but it was a basket case like yours and has the same left upper hing damage you described. Are the 4 door and 2 door hinges the same? Love your work I'm just hoping to build a nice driver more like your 4 door.
Funny cus i got a 67 impala 4 door sedan and a 67 impala 4 door hardtop like u have them 2 55s and its about the same with the differences. Those wheels look killer on the hardtop.
Just a beauty! Going to look amazing once your done..Question Rob, I see you have tubular control arms, who are they made by? Cpp or global west or cheap Chinese? I want to order some parts to have on hand when I start on my frame

The detail amazes me

Yep. Same hinges
I’m a pretty new subscriber enjoying the channel. What are you doing for a shifter on the 55 HT?
On the column
@@haffrods7055
Is it a later model GM column or how are you doing the linkage and such?
