Lovely car... he’s done a great job of the mods... Eventuri is absolute quality. We should always remember just because a car isn’t maybe somebody’s cup of tea, it’s the owners pride, joy and passion.. And isn’t that what it’s all about ☺️
I have an FK8 and absolutely love it. This type r is great too. Looks has always had two extremes. If you like it, you will definitely love the car the way it drives. If you don’t like it the looks, that is fine. Go find yourself another car but don’t be disrespectful. Personally I love it

im lucky enough to have a CW facelift FK2 (stock atm) as a daily driver, or a daily grinner on michelin ps4s these days ;) the fk2 is the last old style civic imo the interior is very 8th gen but evolved. Zero torque steer at standard config.

Any of the many other systems don’t seem great like this. Also any tips on remap would be much appreciated. Limited on budget but have to get to 400+ bhp somehow…
Rolling and in the bends, yes.. civic is almost 200kg lighter with more torque. But ofcourse 4wd in the wet is great in the golf and the launch is something else.
Each to their own i just absolutely hate FWD cars. But I understand most people start with FWD but I jist never did. Had RWD every car since my first car.

Fk2 is THE type r. Power and styling. I wouldn't go for stage 2 that exhaust is too much and difficult to get that power down within legal speed limits. I recently remapped the 340i so it's similar power to this type r more torque however and can use every single bhp from 1st gear. Luke stop messing around and remap your m140i you won't regret it. I recommend doing gearbox aswell as there are limiters there that tell the engine to back off!
You've obviously not driven one. Believe me they get the power down, very sophisticated from suspension setup. More more fun and faster around a track / back road than 340i
People really should learn how to hold the steering wheel properly. 2fingers, some sort of claw hand style, right hand at 10oclock on the steering wheel etc is not good and not in full control although I suppose he wasn't really pushing in bends.

Whats the point in spending lots of money on one of the most crucial parts of a car? Looking good is the most important criteria. Surprised it hasn't got smart price tyres on.
Flow formed is still an improvement over Oem cast alloys, i chose these bolas over OZ HLT range for this reason. I could not be spending £4k+ on full forged Work or Advan this time round 😢

Sorry never did like the Honda Civic type r and when this came out it was worse it look like something out of space with all the panels on the car it looks to much. so not my cup of tea sorry it looks so ugly but dose sound alsome tho but it not about about the sound and performance

I hated the spaceship dash, literally i comment to mrs when were out on how easy it is to keep your eyes on speedo since its hovering in your view.. vags are more conservative. Honda give your crazy hybrids or vtec turbos with split rear windows and macci milkshake table spoilers . I mean the eg has a split boot! Really weird and cool..

Id take anything rear wheel drive over front. I stopped wetting the bed years ago.

Custom exhausts are far cheaper and you can have it as you want it 👌🏻 when remapping get it done custom, RDT would be my go to in future

Nicely put together machine, but that waste gate/pop off valve would drive me mad.
Noise is all from the eventuri intake, stock recirculating valve. Its personally my favourite performance part

ive heard the owner thinks this will beat a stage 1 fl rs3... the guys smoking illegal substances, theyre slow even at this power.
😂😂😂has weight and almost power advantage…rolling the rs3 would get gapped. These do 175-180 with 400brake
