      Also Vader hated palpatine even before he was in the suit. He thanked him for the power and the insight into the sith but intended on killing him after his duel with obi wan. But of course none of that happened. He stick with palpatine until he found out Luke was alive, then he knew he would be able to overtake the emperor.

      Vader kept Sidious alive so he could learn more about the dark side but Sidious was a horrible teacher and withheld a lot of information thereby breaking the rule if two if dark Vader wanted to overthrow Sidious he could have at one point Sidious was poisoned invader decided to save him just so he can continue learning of the dark side. the point being both Vader and Sidious wanted to master the Dark side and both of them kept secrets

      If ronhar was smart enough to think up this plan then you'd think the jedi high counsel would've came up with the same plan . how else can it be anymore easier than to test people for their midiclorian count to reveal those that are force sensitive and narrowing down to a few possible culprits.

    • @13gan
      @13gan 5 лет назад +10

      To be fair, Ronhar reveal the plan to Sidious not only because they're friends but also because of Sidious position and experience in politics. Plus, that plan wouldn't work without the cooperation of the Senate so asking the opinion of his friend on the possible political obstacle for the plan make a lot of sense. He can even use Palpatine's approval to convince the Jedi Council on the viability of the plan, so it kills two bird with one stone.
      The Jedi Council probably didn't consider that plan because of that political implication of it and the fact that high midiclorian count is just an indicator of force potential, not whether they're trained as a Sith.

    I know that it may sound a little odd, but in many ways I think that the assassination of Vidar Kim was the final piece that fully formed Palpatine into Sidious. I mean I know that Sidious was always his true self, but Vidar was a real connection for a young Palpatine. His momentary hesitation for his assassination proves this & makes the active severing of that connection all the more significant, as the last true element of Palpatine has been destroyed, leaving only a mask to be used by Sidious. It's no accident that not long after this he is a fully realised Sith & apprentice no longer, actively taking the lead for the 1st time in Sith business after the attack on Plagueis.
    So yeah obviously I love it 😁 xx

    I learned an important lesson from a mixed tape many years ago. The artist said that,the closest people to you,are the same one who be pulling the trigger. The first mistake he made was not reveling his plans to yoda and the other members. Secondly, he opened his mouth without even thinking about the risks that anyone in the senate could be affiliated with the sith. I'm sure if he had informed yoda and the others, then it would've made them launch an investigation and figure out the sith lord quicker. Because of the ambushed. This war would've only lasted for a 1 year. They would've discovered the truth. They came so close many times to figure out his plans and failed.

  • @greenwoods276
    @greenwoods276 2 года назад +3

    I feel that Sidious was a lot friendlier as Chancellor Palpatine and it was an act, yes but some of the kind things he did were genuinely from the greatness of his heart. He is a Sith, but his intentions vary. Sidious is the most confusing character in Star Wars, no one knows what he's thinking. The Canon universe really nerfed that aspect of him and just made him into an evil villain. Sidious is a mix between chaotically evil and neutral good. In the Clone Wars, he was a good person, he helped citizens, he donated to charity, and he even saved thousands upon millions of lives. I think he could have been an amazing Jedi, possibly even a better Jedi than Yoda and Anakin combined. If his parents were kind people that weren't greedy and actually showed attention to him, he might have been taken into the Jedi Order and become one of the greatest Jedi of all time.

    Gotta love the Darth Plagueis novel and this comic (Republic comic 64 - Bloodlines, for the curious) for bringing this tale full circle. Just goes to show the horizons in which Palpatine has to do so to achieve success and his own flabbergasted ambitions.
    Also love how the former actually uses the latter's Palpatine/Ronhar Kim conversation almost word-for-word.
    Addendum: By the way, a young Gilad Pellaeon actually appears in this comic, just so anyone knows.

    this Jedi's death would have been better if he survived Order 66, and when word got out of his location, Sidious would go there himself and easily beat the Jedi, then he would reveal everything he had done, and would then kill his old friend in the most sadistic way possible. damn that would have been cruel, telling his friend how he rose to power then giving the Jedi a slow and torturous death, and clearly enjoying it.

    You know, if the midichlorians are what connect to the Force, it should be pretty simple for a powerful Sith to just strip them from the small amount of blood taken in a sample test... It might not even be that difficult...

  • @Ben-Ken

    Poor Ronhar probably relied on his force ability to detect no darkness or lies in his friend Palpatine. Too bad he's never had to face a real Sith. This is the Jedi's greatest failure. It's like raising a child away from the dangers of the world and then sending that naive child out into it

    I feel like palpatine discovered the secret to saving yourself from death and thats why he's return.
    But I feel like it's dark empire kinda thing, where he had to put his darkside spirit into someone else and that person is matt smiths charater. Which is why they dont show palpatine in the trailer.
    Also if thats true then palpatine would look either the same or similar to return of the jedi apperance. Though he could look younger and this is just a omage to dark empire with rey being luke and kylo being leia.
