For 120hz might be worth trying to connect the cable direct to the hmd rather then the boxy adapter, seemed to cure the occasional hmd crash I was getting in 120. Sure I mostly removed that adapter as a marginal weight saver off the front too.
I’ve heard people mention that, and it might do the trick for some, but I’ve tried it several times (also without the hub) but it didn’t make any difference in my case unfortunately.
Hey IR, good to see you validated the forevated rendering for Elite Dangerous :) does ED still need that setting in pimax software that enables it to work with Pimax headsets, i cant remember what it was called, but it made ED use a lot more resources with the Pimax headsets
You might be talking about Parallel Projection, which now seems to be generally automatic from what I can tell. I'd need to look into whether Elite uses that or not to confirm that since things just seem to work. However, I can't say the performance in Elite feels anything other than what I'd expect based on the resolutions I run it at, when compared to other HMDs.
Finally.. I've spent 3 days looking for guide on Crystal. Thank you very very much! Few questions if you dont mind! How shall I launch Sabnautica? I saw it ia workikg natively with DFR. Do i juat start it through Pimax app? I tried with steam vr , good quality but some stutters , and controller issues there. Thanks in advance!
I'm not hugely familiar with Subnautica (although I've played a few hours of it in VR) but here's the Pimax Crystal DFR spreadsheet regarding game compatibility: docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/16GNwXAVCjUF9vCW6ubiUPQT00hZ7hRT5K_sbO6P9nYc/edit?gid=0#gid=0 You should be able to load it directly from SteamVR and the DFR should be present via the Pimax client in that way since it seems to utilise the in-built OpenVR DFR implementation.
I'm not sure on that one, and I can't see it on the spreadsheet of software that has been tested yet. I don't own it, so to be sure we'll have to rely on somebody to test it.
DFR does work in ACC. I made a video testing performance on my system, and confirmed DFR was active and working: ruclips.net/video/Ytxn-4NeeBQ/видео.htmlsi=9Vir5RvIMu4Obbek

Finally!
Hopefully we get above 120hz next. 144 or 165.
Wireless coming soon?
Wireless would be great! I haven’t been informed of any time frame on that yet, but that would be something of interest to a lot of people.

So DFR doesn’t work at all with X-plane 12 or?

@@ImmersedRobot Thanx!
No, X-Plane uses Vulkan. Pimax DFR can only work with Direct3D 11.
Assetto Corsa "yes" ,
but Assetto Corsa Competitione is not in the list🤔
