I agree with your tier list. I started with one of the armor sets in wvw, which was my focus at the time. I then left the game (for the second time) for a few years, and when I came back recently, quickly got to work on the prismatic amulet, and noticed as I was finishing the Season 3 sections that I could simultaneously work on Vision and season 4. I have moved on to Aurora, which I am about half way through, and I am playing quite a bit of WvW again, so my plans for that are to put that time into Conflux and Warbringer, and possibly another set of WvW armor (I have made all three sets of WvW ascended armor). While doing that, I will work on the runes in my PvE time, and at some point I will focus on Raiding for the final trinket. I'm not sure how long it will take to reach that point, or if the game itself will change enough to modify it, but that is the sequence.
I'd put relic in F tier right now, just because its so ludicrously expensive. If it was the original price of 4-600G which anet clearly intended, then fine, but at 2.2-2.3k gold its not worth it at all (due to lucent mote price inflation).
Legendary relict is hilarious. Anet made a big mistake here imho. That relict is just not affortable anymore for 99,9% of players. And since you usually can play 90% of the builts with lets say 10 relicts. Even if you buy them all you can equipp lot of character only for the motes 🤷♂️
Agree 100% sadly i was on hiatus when it got released. I didnt see any news nor did I notice that my friends were tagging me to craft at least 1 rune for the free one. Now that I returned after a full year of not playing, it feels like I ahot myself on the foot with these mystic facet prices. Currently at 6/25 sigh.
Good list. I don't agree 100% with some of your rankings but I can see why you made those rankings. And that's probably the most important thing about these tier lists. They shouldn't define your thinking but they should make you think about your game and improve how you make your own choices. I personally put legendary runes above legendary armor because they are universally useful and all they take is gold to get a full set. I only had to power through creating my set once for all builds. I don't need to power through an entire set three times to cover all builds. I agree very much with your take on legendary sigils. The first four legendary sigils are much more important to have than the second four. I would put spear in A tier rather than S tier because land spear isn't equally useful across all classes. There are some spear skillsets that I love and there are others that don't justify equipping a spear.

IMO legendary armor is better then trinkets(except backpacks) because a full set of raid armor costs you about 2.4k gold so having all 3 sets is 7.2k gold, aurora+vision+2x coalesence cost about 7.3k gold. Legendary armor is free to transmog and swap out runes and ascended trinkets are imo cheaper to get then ascended armor.
100%. I have full Obsidian armour yet only the Prismatic amulet. Trinkets are completely off the table if you don't do WvW/PvP/Fractals/Raids not to mention the expense. Also, even as a relatively new player, ascended trinkets could be gotten purely by farming winterberries/eternal ice/rubies in the OW. The Bloodstone ones especially since they can be reset. I did enough WvW to craft two Legendary weapons, but since bought 4 more. I'd rather slowly farm up the gold and outright buy the ones I think I'll get the most use out of rather than force myself to do content I dislike for the remainder of the trinkets. Even if the OW backpack is highly doubtful for me since I almost never set foot in Janthir and I have a ton of Bloodstone backpacks already, amongst others.
Legendary armor is also kinda nice bc you get to pay as you go. Like a single piece is only a handful of gold compared to having to save 2k for a trinket.
I definitely see your points and can't argue with that, if you have to take economic considerations into account then it becomes very hard to judge imo and becomes even more subjective.
If you have the living world seasons, ascended trinkets are way easier to get your hands on than armor. Even backpack. In siren's landing you can get back items for pearls and karma. So yeah, I totally agree, that legy armor is more useful than trinkets. Especially if you're like me and mostly play the same armor class. It's a bit unintuitive, since trinkets can be used by all characters, but as I planned which legy to go for first I noticed, that none of my character has a full set of ascended armor yet, but several have two sets of ascended trinkets.

I made the mistake of working only on Legendary weapons to start and now wish I had concentrated on the trinkets first, and the armor second, even though I’ve crafted over twenty Legendary weapons now.
Myself I've found ascended backpacks ridiculously easy to get hold of. I have several sitting around in my bank. There's several collections and then there's easy purchases from Siren's Landing, which is great for gathering anyway. Keeping a stock of pearls should be easy enough, especially since the home node gives 9 a day. So since I don't do a whole lot of fractals, WvW, and especially PvP, I'm pretty far from the existing legendary backpacks and don't view it as a priority. Looking forward to the new one coming, though.
Valid point! I still think the convience of legendary trinkets and especially of backbacks is really high also because of the full infusion slots they come with. Otherwise it can be a pain to get full infusions on the ascended ones!
Same, ascended jewelry is extremely cheap and easy to get as well. I started with armor as I only use heavy and light and don't have any plans for making a medium armor character
So i will working on my trinkets cause whenever i want to switch to another class due to crap balance changes, i invest alot to change sometimes the stats and since i have an ascended gear for each type and mats i dont need to spend for that, i actually didnt know there was legendary items we can get literaly for free without spending gold, im going for the amulet right away.
The amulet is more than free it pays you! You will end up with so much mats and 20 slots bags and a Legendary at the end. All those map currencies for Aurora and Vision as well.
nur Sigill und Relikt hätte ich in lower A tier gepackt, weil ich die Gegensatz z.B. zu einem legendären Langbogen wenigstens auf allen Chars verwenden kann. Wenn man richtig Pech hat, dann gibt man 2000 gold für eine legy waffe aus und dann ist die nur auf einer einzigen klasse in einem einzigen spielmodus z.B. WvW gerade mal Meta. Sigill und Relikt wenn man 1 Char pro Klasse hat 9x nutzbar. Sigill hinter der Rune und das Relikt ganz am Ende, weil man fürs Relikt teilweise noch nervigen Kram machen muss, um das ding zu füllen. Vielleicht könntest du deine tier listen noch mit einem S Plus tier verfeinern, das würde dir mehr möglichkeiten geben, denn dann hättest du Sigill und Relikt in ein extra tier stecken können. 9 von 11 sind ein Volltreffer. Sehr hilfreiches Video gerade für Anfänger die mit ihren legendären starten wollen, Like dagelassen. PS: Vielleicht deine beste tier list bisher...zumindest sehe ich keinen dislike, obwohl es wahrscheinlich ein ding der unmöglichkeit ist mit solchen tier listen jeden zufrieden zu stellen, denn irgendwer wird wahrscheinlich immer mad sein, aber schon traurig das einige da richtig unfreundlich und eventuell sogar beleidigend werden.

Things like accessories (vision/aurora, especially vision) are worth it, same as rings… but darn you need a lot of determination if you choose to exclusively get them… you mad person… Especially if you haven’t done achievements like “A Star to Guide Us”, or… if you don’t enjoy jumping puzzles much (looking at you Tears of Chalice)!! Cheekily. We all know that pvp back, amulet and gear is the first thing every new player should get from the moment they create a new account and first log into gw2... I am joking!!
Actually I only play quick berserker with spear. Yea it BiS ok most builts but tbh I dont like the spear combat and even on professions like DH I went back to longbow which is not a big dps loss. Tbh I would split weapons in different tiers since aurene legendaries are imho quite easier and cheaper than t1 and dont need a world completion. For me one hand sword, ace and dagger is bigger than spear (aurene weapon or starter kit) since it is cheap and you need it a lot (sword ==> quick herald, virtuoso, lot of pvp/wvw builts. Ace ==> soulbeast, spellbreaker, druid, and so on). Sigils also are pretty low imho. But way cheaper than stupid and hilarious relicts 😂

Then I'll put backpack in A-tier, WvW and PvP ones are really easy to get. Weapons in B-tier or A-tier, depending on how many times you use that weapon in your builds. Trinkets in D-tier: honestly getting ascended ones is super easy and cheap.. WvW and PvP ones with selectable stats are more than enough, easy to get and cheap. Runes and Relics: F-tier, just a waste of golds.
True, but I find it very annoying to get various trinkets for all my hundred builds with different gear stat requirements that I want to run on multiple characters. But in the end this is just my opinion and I can understand yours!
Hey, what would be the easiest legendary armor in light version that I could get? Is it the obsidian? I'm looking to get all armor first since I only have until EoD and then I'll check trinkets and finally weapon
It depends on your game play focus. If you are a PvP or WvW player, then those sets will be the easiest. If open world is your thing then the Obsidian set will be easiest. If raids are your cup of tea then the raid set will be easiest. I don't raid so I went with open world and WvW sets, currently working the last few pieces of the third armor weight set. 1 WvW, 2 obsidian.
In general weapons are fairly low yes. But some weapons are for sure S tier. Staff for example since alot of builds use it and almost all classes have it.
Two handed weapons are twice as valuable as one handed weapons, I place the one handed weapons even lower than aquatic weapons, which are all two handed. One handed weapons at the very least warrant a lower tier than two handed weapons regardless of where you rank aquatic weapons.
Unless your build dual wields the same weapon type, but that’s not common. I’m not sure if willbender still has an application of dual wield swords but that was the reason I made the Shining Blade back when WB came out
Some are, but legendaries always have max infusion slot aviable so you dont need gift of ascension or glob of essences to infuse them for fractals or min-max stats

i think theres something to be said for moving weapons up if you get the legendary starter kit because that just makes it way easier.
Yeah, solely from a economic stand point that makes sense, but in terms of convinience this doesn't change anything sadly!

I am a really new player. I have play some WvW but I'm going with PVE build and it is kinda complicated. So what would be the easiest maybe with PvE?
Yeah, the easiest is the Obsidian one, but it is quite a grind be warned!
