I wish I had seen this video when I started playing quite a while ago. I spent too many mastery points early on on the legendary crafting thinking it was something I wanted to do, but not realizing that base game legendary weapons were among the most expensive and most tedious legendaries to craft and that there were better alternatives without needing that tree. And Mount stealth skill? OMG, i wish I'd have gotten that early. Great guide! - Now whenever I meet someone new, I always recommend going with things that give mobity and movement since it reduces so much in time getting from point a to point b and If you are going to upgrade anything first, upgrade your bank space because those are the items that you want to keep until you need them. Most things in material storage, you can buy back for pretty close to what you sold it for, but banked items usually can't - So if you're not using the mats, don't just keep upgrading and storing stuff you're not using, turn it to gold, that can be turned into gems- or used to buy things you DO need. Yes, please do an ascended gear guide. There are so many ways to get it, and it can be quite daunting when you first start playing. W v W is one of my favorite methods but there are so many other ways.... (Also, can I request for other players, a good World vs world guide? When I first jumped in, I had no idea of what was going on, what the numbers up top or what my tabs on the left meant and what to put my points into. It took making a friend who WvW a lot who ran w me for a few days explaining all of the tabs, selecting reward tracks, ....what the pips were, bronze, to diamond weeklies, how to keep my participation up for pips even if I died while learning etc for me to get a grasp on it and I'm still far from a pro.) (The game gives terrible guidance on how WvW works or what priority to put your points earned into what skills). Imagine my surprise when I found out I can buy stat selectable gear in wvw or hero points ....I have searched and searched and not found ONE good W v W guide that tells a new player what they need to know to enjoy WvW without feeling lost. And every time I WvW, I learn something new.

I managed to get 400 gems for 178 gold a few weeks ago right before the holiday gem store sale - after which it jumped to 210 gold for 400 gems. It was at this point I realized that the price of gold/gem conversion can fluctuate very quickly depending on how many ppl were trading gold for gems or gems for gold.
Do strike missions and farm crystal shards it's the easiest way to get ascended gear and buy the weapons from arborstone vendor because they are stat selectable the armor get it from eye of the north (assaulter's mostly because because they have offensive stats like vipers assassin berserker rampager...),also farm volatile and unbound magic and LW4 and LW3 currencies for easy Ascended trinkets,buy also the WV ascended gears with astral acclaims .avoid wvw pvp or fractals ascended gear because it will require you to get GM crests which are annoying to get for beginners
@@ediGoesPRO crafting can require a lot of gold and it's annoying to get all materials and upgrading all the crafting jobs you need for the full set but you can go for it although I don't recommend it.
I struggle quite with the Tyria mastery for the "automatic loot" because everything gives so less XP. is there a guide how to get this mastery really fast? Or is it really "grind every heart you find"?
Yeah, experience is very important as the later stages of a mastery require WAY more exp than the early ones. Check out this for more ways to increase your experience gain: wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Experience#Experience_modifiers
IF you have access to a chair in your novelties, sit in that chair for 5 minutes to give you a xp boost. I'm not positive, but if someone else pulls out a chair that u can also sit in, it will give you a boost as well. Use laurels if you have them at a laurel vendor to buy an xp booster. They cost 1 laurel each and pop one right before a bit meta event or a chain of events that reward a lot of xp. also always find cheap food or utilities that you can often pick up cheap at early zone heart vendors that give xp bonus for enemies killed.

The lowest change rate I saw so far were something about 180 g for 400 crystals
Yeah, I bought a lot back years ago for 120 or so. But it just keeps going up :(

It was around 160g for a good chunk of last year. It seems to drop between festivals and stuff. Big gems store sales also tend to drive up the price.

you can either use xp boost (yellow one that gives killstreak bonus) and kill all mobs especially with yellow name or u can do daily fractals aswell
