I had a obgyn try to tell me endometriosis doesn't grow on the bowls-that was the 1st and last appointment with her.

Ugh. My bowel was actually completely blocked from endometriosis’ adhesions. Glad you didn’t keep seeing her.

so i just started having symptoms since January 2021 .. it started with my left side in the pelvis up to where my bowel is with pain / gassiness .. and up to my chest and neck and my whole left arm was tingly and numb and weak. i ended up having major heavy menstruation and big clots and every time i have my period and only then , i have rectal bleeding also... and went to emergency. they ran ecg for my heart , and some other tests .. my u.s . showed that i have fibroids, and possible endometriosis.. however im still undergoing tests with my ob gyn ( endometrial biopsy , mri ( possible pinched nerve ) but i think my arm is connected to this bowel thing. :(( every month when i get my period , its wayyy worse.. everything .. ive never been so bloated and gassy IN MY LIFE. I hope i find out whats wrong!@

So helpful and interesting - thank you! After months of being told I only had IBS, I took to my doctor a printed list of endo symptoms from the EndoUK website with all my symptoms ticked off. It was this that convinced him to refer me to the specialist.

I spoke to Endometriosis UK today and they were extremely helpful! I think I've received more help from you than anywhere else. Honestly can't say how much I appreciate it!
Also, does anyone know how I can reach out to this Dr? She seems great and really understanding. The gynaecologist I spoke to recently seemed to dismiss that I've been struggling with period related issues when clearly I have. She's referred me to a gastroentologist. Didn't want to understand my concerns. I've had symptoms where the pain is as bad as labour but I've never been pregnant. Sometimes I get constipation, the heavy bleeding, abdominal cramping, bloating, also been in situation where the pain moves from legs, to arms and chest. I've been struggling for more than 5 months now and I'm desperate to get any advice/ help I can get. I just want to get back to normal. Help! :'(

I had severe endometrios affecting my bowel.i had hysterectomy and bowel resection. Inerestingly my dr has no idea about it until i pushed for an ultra sound which lead to my surgery to discover severe endometriosis...dr still has no advise about diet. It explains why my body is siper sensitive to many drugs eh morphine

Been turned down for a scan to see if I have got it..so much for trying to sort women out in the UK..total joke and back to " learning to live with it" .. cheaper to treat you for opioid addiction, not that they touch the pain half the time ...grrr
