came back to watch this ... i was able to get these for $35 !!... yes thats not a type-o .... some guy on FB Marketplace was selling a bunch of stuff and these were posted for $35 as " wired gaming earbuds" .... he HAD NOOOO IDEA what he had lol ..

Another banger, brother! HBB wasn’t too fond of these and I can absolutely understand why. These seem like they’re a vocalist type set, but I tend to like a little bit of body, even in female vocals. Thanks for the review, Jay!

@@jayyaudio totally fair, it’s somewhat of a niche set and not so much of an all arounder that’s for sure.
Most likely HBB doesn't like it since he prefers bassier sets. But for people like MRS or GizAudio, you know they will love it. It's definitely for vocal-centric users. I'd wait for B3 Dusk if you want a bassy B3, or just EQ for free.

You put dual DDs into a shell but tune your IEMs with no bass power?
That's like putting ESTs but the treble cuts at 8k.
Not exactly the same analogy given that ESTs are not easy to implement but you get the idea.

This is a heavy misconception with the audio community, more drivers does not equate to more quality or quantity vice versa, it seems they went in for more bass quality this time.
Given Crinacle's past mention of the B3 Dusk being in the works in his “Why I WON’T review the Moondrop Blessing 3” 9 months ago, I'm weighing the decision between going with the current B3 IEMs or waiting for a potentially improved model. Since I lack experience with IEMs, would the potential benefits of the B3 Dusk be noticeable to me?

Been rocking the Hexa for almost a week, EQed to IEF Neutral + 3,4 or 5 dB bass shelf at 105 Hz and some ear gain reduction + Polarity reverse DSP plugin.
Do you think the Blessing 3 will be a worthwhile upgrade from Hexa? Since I'll be EQing it for my target, will the technicalities on the B3 at least be 50% better than the Hexa?
Not 50% - more like 20% if you EQ everything correctly. Nothing in this Hobby is 50% unless you're jumping from $50 to $1000 but even then...

Can these multi-driver iems be compared to planars like the Heyday? Do multi-drive iem's get better dynamics at the cost of technical performance?
They're better than Planars imo. Better timbre and dynamics. Tech is the same depending on driver and tuning like the B3 for example.

I hate the 8 khz picks they give that icy vibe and pseudo analytical signature to the iem.I m very sceptical about Blessing 3..For me they should have taken it out

Im well on the wagon…in the last few years ive purchased monolith 1060’s (killed them with pillow pressure as i slept in them 😫), ifi xdsd (bad battery) and starfields (2pin broke inside them)
As for good luck ive also got chu’s, wu’s, s12 pro’s and the variations trouble free….also a ifi zen dac and hiby r5 (s2) also all good.
Thank you for the confirmation im really trying to get the best possible sound for the most sensible amount of money. 😄

Are they good enough for "monitor sound" ?. I am not a bass head . Im actually listening electronic music and want to hear tracks as they were made with all details. I have a dap hiby r3 ii.

Curious as I am kind of new. I have a set of the original moondrop starfields and then some Parrot P1 iems. I am looking for something 300 or lower that has good sound stage but also a bit of a bump in bass. Do you have anything else you recommend? Under 300 used.

how it doesn't has enough bass, id get it people, anything above 0bass boost is a coloration, u can say it's a preference but not something to critique

"Personally, I like my bass and tamer highs, so I wouldn’t buy this stock, but if your ears can handle more energy in general, and don’t mind less bass, then the B3 is pretty banging at this price especially given its resolution and layering."
