Just came across your channel. Very nice work. I’m from SW Pennsylvania and use a lot of jigs for steelhead in Erie. I’ve thought about trying them in Alaska on our trips up there the past few years but guides said won’t work. Have you ever used them in Alaska, specifically Kenia River?

I wish these tasty tackle jigheads werent 4$ a peice! tungsten is so expensive!!! I want to pour my own lead ones but cant decide on a hook size to match with 3/8th and 1/2 oz. I want to use these for lake trout through the ice and open water.

Most people would say a 8or 9 foot rod

      I'd say a 7'6 medium heavy action.
