Great information and tutorial. I'm glad to be a new subscriber. I'll have to stop by your shop and check it out. I'm not a fly fisher or tyer but I have just started tying twitching jigs and I'm looking for to try twitching this upcoming season. Thanks again.
I wonder if you could do a tutorial on the tie off at the end with the tie tool. It moves so fast that it is hard to see what you do even when I slow it down. I do twitching all the time here in LM BC and have decided this year I would like to tie my own jigs. This is the best tutorial I have seen so far. Thanks for a great vid!
Problem I saw was guys working jigs at the check however 2 out of 3 caught were foul hooked . These coho holding in a pool and not moving much . I seen 3 coho sitting on the bottom of this pool and jigged through them and they weren’t interested . Needless to say I moved on to find some fly water .
Holes with guys snagging are sadly not gonna have biting fish cuz they are all spooked. If you foul hook a fish while twitching, go down a size in jig and the problem will disappear. Unfortunately a lot of folks don’t do that which leads to scenes like that one
I have to say yes, they are deadly if you know how to fish them .I found you snag a lot of fish with them in a river.the hooks are too big and the jigging action tens to snag fish .I am primarily a fly fisherman and think the jigs should be banded in freshwater, i.e., rivers .I feel they are fine in saltwater
There were a number of tying nuggets I was pleased to learn in this video. Brilliant
That my friend is a good looking jig!👌
Seems like it would be a crazy effective pattern for smallies here in the north. Going to try it!

Hey man, thank you so much for sharing your skills. It’s priceless. God bless you. Really appreciate it ❤
Well done. I will have one or more of these to use in the fall for Coho!
I do like drifting small jigs , had good success using that method.
We will do some small jigs next 👍

Great tutorial, Thank you!
I like your twiching jig.
I've gotten some absolute Chinook tanks on a 1/2oz white head, red collar and black tail nightmare pattern.
Got the same vise. They're awesome
Which model is it?
Nice
Hi Ben, is there a way I can buy a dozen twitching jigs from you. I live in the midwest so I'm afraid I can't come to your shop. Paul

For steelhead ??
What is meant by ‘greasy’? Is it when gear fishing takes from traditional fly fishing techniques?
You've used both jig and fly to describe this, are they interchangeable in name?
Where do you get zonker strips?
What size of thread do you use?
Well I wish you guys had an on-line store so I wouldn't have to drive 4-5 hours to get there
Sorry Benoit we are working on it.
Where did you buy the two tone materials?
Thank you!
We have it at the shop. Come down or give us a call.
FYI When you use (and are happy with) a company's product but refuse to rep them because "they're our [your] competition " you sound like a douche.

Yeah you just got to let it sink less and fish it properly and u snag way less fish
