Realizing that I'm one of many who stumbled into "The Chain Cover" rabbit hole and found this cover. How many more of us are there? Outstanding interpretation and cover of the song.

I've listened to the many versions of The Chain. You and Evanescence Stand out the best as Christos stated you put your personal touch on it and I LOVE IT!!!. It was different but a classical and Unique like you, Mi Bella Amiga. Te Amo

Bloody well done! There's no shortage of covers of this song which fall short here and there because they don't take it anywhere new and set themselves up for comparison... but you did something new and it's really really good.
After listening to this cover, I have a deeper appreciation for the lyrics. "the chain" as in marriage. "run in the shadows".. his infidelity. her yearning for love and connection, his refusal to change or let her go. she is forced to leave the love of her life, or live in an unhappy marriage...both outcomes are heartbreaking..
