@@Avalon6001yes, her drummer and producer
This reminds me of a stormy shore with waves crashing against the rocks. It’s so calm but has the potential to be so full of chaos. I love it.
I imagine Aurora’s dream-like voice being the force of the tide. Nothing so loud and noisy as the waves, but the seismic intensity of pulling billions of billions of gallons of water from one end of the earth to the other. A mover of mountains, a nearly intangible force.
@@willrfrench Beautiful, very good way of framing things.

Goosebumps... Damn that was good
that last micro-second of this performance is why I love her.
There lived a man in Russia long ago
He was big and strong, in his eyes a flaming glow
Most people look at him with terror and with fear
But to Moscow chicks he was such a lovely dear
He could preach the Bible like a preacher
Full of ecstasy and fire
But he also was the kind of teacher
Women would desire
RA RA RASPUTIN
Lover of the Russian queen
There was a cat that really was gone
RA RA RASPUTIN
Russia's greatest love machine
It was a shame how he carried on
"This man's just got to go", declared his enemies
But the ladies begged, "Don't you try to do it, please"
No doubt this Rasputin had lots of hidden charms
Though he was a brute, they just fell into his arms
For the queen he was no wheeler dealer
Though she'd heard the things he'd done
She believed he was a holy healer
Who would heal her son

Thanks, was looking for those
oh my can someone explain the cat reference
@@Dudikaaaaa cat is slang for guy/dude, a cool cat is a cool dude.
Such a beautiful dress and she sounds like an angel.
Nydelig. Fantastisk versjon av en favoritt.
Who would have known Rasputin had this hauntingly beautiful and mesmerizing side of it... I am sure even Boney m will enjoy this version as well.
What the.... Like she can turn any even- hardest- song- to tobe her own, of course is so classy and unique too
Honestly Aurora's covers are a whole new genre and they're all legendary!!
Real musicians right here
Holy shoot.
I thought I’d hate this.. I’ve been a Bony M fan since I was a small child thanks to my parents. I hate the new remixed “Rasputin” techno version and I got tense when I seen this cover but thought I should give it a chance and boy I’m glad I did! I’ll be showing my mum this tomorrow, I already know she’ll love it..
Your voice is liquid gold
A good version of the song is also sung by a band called turisas

Same! Most covers of this song are so unnecessary since the original is perfect but this cover is something else.

She turned it into such a beautiful, magical cover. Her voice here is phenomenal! I'm in love
Her dress is so beautiful. She’s literally a fairy
aurora and the band really said "we stayed on tiktok to much and we can't get this song out of our heads... let's make a cover" and they did it so well, in their amazing style, and aurora as always gave us the best vocals ever. out of a meme of a song. lovely
Her voice sound like the clearest cold spring water ❤️
This sounds like a medieval ballad about a queen we can't even prove existed and I am so incredibly here for it
Her voice is so powerful yet so gentle at the same time. Truly one of the best singers of all time! ❤
Forgive my ignorance, as I don't know this song, but I can't help but imagine this being in The Witcher. Sounds great! *UPDATE* I've spent the past three weeks obsessing over Aurora, so I have this video to thank for that. lol *2023 UPDATE* Very much still obsessed. lol Saw her live last year and it was incredible. Highly recommend seeing her live if you can!
Absolutely!!!!
Her voice as she sings some other songs of her also reminds me strongly of some Witcher 3 songs, very good voice indeed
This version of the song definitely suits The Witcher!
YESSSSSS
exactly!
She needs to make a full album with all these incredible covers she makes. This one blows my mind.
I feel like this would play during the credits in a high-profile Rasputin Hollywood movie.
This is the first time I honestly like this song, AND WOW, I ADORE IT LIKE THIS. Aurora is magical!
She's so good at singing "This song is mine now." I love Bowie, but her "Life on Mars" is my absolute fave and now this.
You need to see these 2 covers by her as well, they are also amazing:

Like a sparkling spring. Her voice is so clean.
I love her cover. I wish it was the entire song though!!
Artists are regularly invited to NRK P3 to play one original song as well as a cover that NRK P3 chooses, the artists get to know which song they will cover an hour before broadcast. Considering the short time to practice, the result is absolutely brilliant
im such a fan of the original song, i love it and i used to listen it a lot, it gave so much happiness and i wanted to dance everytime i heard it, but this cover its just so freaking good and so different to the song like she put her mark and gave it her style and essence and i love it!!! Aurora its a huge piece of art and im so glad people are recognizing her
Could we take a moment to appreciate the guy harmonizing with her perfectly.
My god she is absolutely amazing. Her singing and talent is as beautiful as is her name written in the lights of the norther skies. She is among the stars.
Only discovered her this week. What a set of pipes! Never seen anyone consistently put so much emotion into their music as this lady does. Don''t get me started on her interpretation of her covers. Blows me away.
Angellic this woman is...
this woman is an angel
Everything about her is so... unique? Pure? Damn, I don't know what, but it's really refreshing to see and hear someone so honest, kind and... just lovely.
Thx for sharing

She is precious and brilliant.
She always covers the most random songs and makes them so beautiful.
song of my childhood... incredibly covered - tender, colorful voice. Aurora, you turned this song into masterpiece and I believe Frank Farian would agreed as well. Thanks Aurora!
