Thank you for your explaining how to make a men's chunky beanie without having music it helps me so much to be able to hear and understand the stitching and what needs to be done... I will try your Technique I think it will work for me being that I am a beginner thank you so much that you didn't have any music and that you have a voice that helps to bring the understanding on every step of working that beanie and it's beautiful thank you❤

I finally finished making this beanie for my husband ! I absolutely love how it turned out. Your video was so good . I followed it exactly, even buying the exact same yarn that you did. I am going to be making a few more as Christmas presents. Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful talent. If I can make something this nice, then anyone can! …….with your help, of course! Much thanks, Liz B (from upstate NY)

Thank you for this great pattern and tutorial! This is a great little chunky hat. I used 2 strands of Caron One Pound (4wt) in ivory. It was running about 1/4 to 1/2 inch bigger compared to your measurements, but in the end came out ok, since the ribbing pulls it in a bit. I'm making it for someone else, but like it so much I want to keep it for myself! Will definitely make this again.

You're welcome, Christine. Thanks for letting me know how it turned out with the Caron yarn too, I bet it's real pretty in ivory!

Is the hook size the same all over the world. I love this benie and I'm using 2 strains of yarn to make chunky. Can I use a bit smaller size than you've recommended in the video?

You can, but it may turn out slightly smaller depending on your tension. If you end up needing it larger, you will want to add some increases in increments of two.

Oh and to answer your first question, I believe the hook sizes vary in some countries.

If I need to make it a little bigger past 15 hdc then increase what would I do??

Hi Bailey, you can try and add increases in increments of 2.

What if tou don't have chuncky yarn? I use and only have medium weight size 4. Is it ok to use.

Hi! You can try holding two strands together, 1 strand will not work.
