I had the camera on while I was filming my hair before filming a video, so I thought I would share it with you guys been that I changed from using the black gel to the gorilla snot glue. you make doing your edges look so easy ... girl i have to try , try again and i never get it... then i end up looking in the mirror trying to figure out why im still doing my edges 😂

*U should leave ya edges alone, put coconut oil or olive oil and massage it and wrap it up at night so ya edges can get really thick 😋😃*

Back when I had a perm I used a toothbrush, now that I’m natural I use a comb. It gives a smoother more controlled lay on your edges.

The “edge control” gel she was using is gorilla snot gel which is originally used for spiking hair straight up and getting the punk rock style but yes it is a wonderful gel I use it myself but sometimes you need to limit how much you use on your hair because sometimes it can make your hair turn the color of the gel that you use hope this was helpful byyeee

Lola F it last all day for me without turning white. However, other people have different experiences so I would say try it for yourself. The ay how it works best is if you don’t mix it with any other products.

you ought to try the amazing black panther edge control. U can get it on amazon, Etsy Ebay.
Mine always seems to flake, and I've tried using it wet, dry, a little or alot and it still flakes
that sucks that it doesn't work for you, try black or white get maybe you'll have a better luck.

I don't trust gorilla snot it ripped out my cousin edges and her hair was so damaged she had to shave it all off and start over but I think it was the mix of products she was using and the gorilla snot was like ok bitch let's go yeet but you edges is slated sis❤😍

that gorilla snot gel is so sticky & made my hair rock hard . i have fine 3c hair & i literally tried to use oil with it to make it not as hard , but it didnt help . this gel felt like it was going to rip my edges out

Yuppp it can cause a little flakiness in the hair, but nothing you can't wash out like most hair products. Some makes your hair flaky, oil makes your hair greasy, water makes your hair dry, tooo much condition in the hair makes its caky and sticky but at the end of the day thanks be to Got they can all be washed out.

I shouldn’t be commenting on this since I don’t know anything about natural hair. I think black women have lovely hair. I can’t help but have this nagging feeling like most of you ladies are being too hostile on your scalp. Tight pony tails, too much products, and constant braiding are very strenuous on your scalp. I could be wrong.
I thank you for being nice about it. But no not really unless like it's really tight then it starts to pull and hurt alot more. But no it doesn't do anything to my scalp at least
The ponytail is not that tight, products aren't really that damaging and you're thinking way too deeply into this.

You're right. Often times it creates damage to the hair in the form of breakage and thinning of edges of done too frequently. A lot of these products have crazy chemicals in them but it's often times necessary due to ease of effort and less time costly.
Dumbestthingsyoutuberssay well potentially braids could be an issue if they’re too tight. If not then it’s fine. I for one let my scalp breathe a few months before I put in more braids. Also ponytails could be tight on the hairline, but what you’re wrong about is products. Curly and Afro hair needs more products than wavy and straight hair. Unless you’re talking about chemicals from a relaxer (straight perm) then it shouldn’t have any issue. You aren’t even supposed To put product on the scalp. Maybe an oil but no creams or anything.
